I wonder if it’s possible for a next main Anime to have a cold/an apathetic MC not into training Pokémon, or worse, having a low opinion on them, but then circumstances make them have a Pokémon and then the idea of training Pokémon start growing on them.

Or, a Tired Gen 10 Anime Protagonist that feels apathetic and resentful about Training their own Pokemon, he/she is inspired by Digimon Beatbreak's Tomoro Tenma

Keyword: INSPIRED but He/She prefer To BE ALONE, That means a Solo Protagonist in Gen 10 Anime but as for the Gen 10 Anime Villain... I have no idea about that.

Edit: oh, That's for the another discussion involving Gen 10... Gen 10 haven't been announced yet.

So just how many episodes does a full series story usually last in the pokemon anime after 3 or 4 years. 150 or 160 episodes? It feels as if Horizon only has 40 episodes left to go before it wraps up.

the 4 year series were about 190-something while the 3 year series were about 140-something.

I get the feeling Horizons will fall somewhere in between.
(I'll die laughing it ends up having 151 episodes XD )

Well, there doesn't seem to be much story left. Once the story introduces all three of starters final evolution, the next arc will possibly dedicate time to collecting the tera types which may climax with the final showdown with Spinel, and then the last arc a tournament battle and epilogue.

So I guess 40 episodes left seems adequate.

Or it will pick up with the kids rescuing the 5 Heroes and then set off on that tera type quest. (Which will compose of the final arc)

As much as I loved SM's approach for more character based development and dreams than actual "goals" like the past series had, it definitely isn't working in HZ.
I really hope for the next series we go back to a traditional goal based narrative if the series is going to continue to be weekly. Otherwise it just gets aimless and I don't have hopes from the writers to pull it off well anymore
I do still want dual protags tbh or atleast an Ash-Dawn situation, but let's see

I’m not describing May (also, May is warm, not cold; if anything Ash was less warm than her at times), I’m really thinking of a goth/delinquent/kuudere type of character.

Why would Ceruledge and Armarouge all of a sudden battle each other especially when they have a bunch of bad guys to take on? It makes more sense for them to fight alongside each other in order to face Indy and Rubella's Pokemon rather than fighting against each other.
