I've been greatly appreciating the amount of screen time that is disseminated among Ash's Pokemon lately. Poor Hawlucha got the worst treatment out of any of his Pokemon during the Goodra Era in my opinion then after Clemont's gym, he rebounded and for that I am jolly. Fletchinder... I don't know what the writers are doing with her but I feel half and half with her treatment which is alright with a regional bird; you can't always expect Staraptor or Swellow treatment but it is considerably better than what Unfezent had... poor thing. Frogadier, Lord knows how much the writers are trying to paint him to be; a powerhouse. I mean, the clean animation whenever Frogadier battles, the dexterity in which he moves, the way he finishes his opponents with a flashy Aerial Ace or SWORD Cut... unbelievable but at the same time, the animation really helps. Then Pikachu, probably already in his prime and won't be starring in any gym from here on out (I HOPE) but will SHINE during the League because his skills currently are just over the roof and am happy they did not reboot him like in B/W. Last but not least, baby Noibat is the most adorable thing right after Goomy of course! I cannot wait until he learns to fly, learns new moves, and evolves into a Noivern which probably will not happen until right before the League or after OR never will happen because God knows how many merchandise they can milk from him/her.
