Poem "Contest" Time!

Hello all!
Well for our current scrapbook (kinda like a book report) at school, we have to get together a bunch of poems, and then I thought: "Hey! I know artists! Maybe they've written some poems! And if not, they probably know people who have!" (this was originially for dA, so please bear with me)

So here we are.
I would love it if you would send me any poems you have, but I need the following:
1 poem about a (non-fictional, biblical is ok) Historical Event
1 poem written by an African American (not trying to be racist or anything, it's one of the requirements)
1 poem by a Native American
1 poem following a specific format such as haiku, ode, free verse, sonnet, etc.
1 dedication poem to someone (a poem that I will choose someone to dedicate it to)
1 self-written poem (already taken care of [see my gallery)
1 poem that shows strong use of Figurative Language - simile, metaphor, personification, onomatopoeia, etc
3 poems by the Same Poet (i guess this could be a sort of grand prize)
(Song lyrics also accepted)
I will also need the full name anybody who sends me a Poem, as well as the title of the poem (as well as the category[?]).

And remember, just because you don't have any poetry, someone you know may....or someone they know...or someone they know...you get the idea!
Also, as it's for school (a christian school), so please nothing very/too graphic
(sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread)

okay then , posting in here now instead of in my thread . Name's Scott Edmondson

Possessed

As she sat down in the chair
Looking at the hairs
In the looking glass
As she sat down in the chair

The image she saw no longer followed her,
It gained a voice and spoke, telling her,
The Princess that she must kill the king and queen
As she sat down in the chair, that is what it said to her

As if possessed she got up and found a mace
So she could soon rule this place
While the rest of kingdom was dead asleep
She stealthily sneaked to their room like an expert thief, while carrying a mace

For just a moment or two, she felt awareness and fear
At what she was doing, but she continued on so that none would hear.
She was almost at the soon-to-be-dead’s room.
Yet now once again, possessed by the voice from the glass, she felt no care or fear

She entered their room finding the soon-to-be-dead, dead asleep.
She took aim for the king first, raising her mace,
Then slamming it down on his head with as much force as she could muster,
Instantly killing him as a rain shower of blood sprayed out

With the soon-to-be-dead queen, dead asleep,
And the king viciously smashed with a mace, the rest of the kingdom was still asleep
The little girl princess mentally prepared herself to kill the queen.
Then she raised the mace, and slammed it into the queens head, the rest still asleep

Then while an ocean of blood was forming
In the room, the little girl was fretting
And worrying, having came to her senses
Finally, tears fell down her face, as she began crying

For despite her recent actions, she had loved
Them more than anything she had ever loved.
She needed to clean up the bloody mess she had created
But she wasn’t sure how she could

Yet suddenly one of the residents had woken, having heard the killing.
The woken found his way to the victim’s room discovering
The bodies but the culprit was not in his sight
She wasn’t insight because she had gone into hiding

She had hidden inside a wardrobe in the room.
The woken released a series of screams.
Those screams, woke up a good majority of the kingdom.
The newly-woken all found their way to the room.

More screams, Panicking, and worried questions.
“Who would do this?” was repeated a great many times.
Already haunted with guilt, the killer stepped out from the
Wardrobe, admitting of the act she had done, while possessed.

you can submit that poem as a piece in a specific format if you can't think of any other category.
