You will be beginning as a new citizen of Pokécity, whether that means you moved now, or in the last few years. In this game you will make new friends, have a job, and do other stuff that you'd do in life, except with a lot more dangerous adventuring!
Rules
1. Follow all SPPF rules.
2. Prejudice and/or flaming of any kind of will not be tolerated.
3. Don't post here when you are serving a ban. This will just lead to you serving a longer ban. If you have any queries about your ban, talk to the game owner or one of the co-owners and we will act accordingly.
4. You can evolve your Pokémon, but please ask for permission via VM first (these can be sent to an owner or co-owner)
5. Please do not get off topic.
6. Do not control other people's Pokémon without their permission.
7. Don't use Pokémon without posting the sign-up first.
8. Everyone is allowed to have a maximum of 3 characters in this game
9.This game will be carried out in CONTROLLED ARCS. This means each arc will have it's own run time and when one ends another will begin soon after. There will be points where you must battle with a villain and these can be Pokemon, but won't be limited to Pokemon. Each will have it's own attack power, HP value and moves. This is why you will have stats. These will affect how the battle goes and it could sometimes be the difference between a victory and a loss.
10. NO UBERNESS! Please, don't use super mega ultra attacks in the middle of a city. Us folks don't like that (Godmodding will also not be permitted.)
11. Please don't spam this place up. You can RP but please don't go overboard.
12. We are going to allow marriages in Pokécity! But first you have to VM/PM the game owner or one of the co-owners and tell them it's happening so they can approve it and make sure everybody is prepared for it, as we don't want anybody to ruin it by killing you. (Note: If you have any separate requests for the marriage e.g. a plot with it, PM me so I will know what is going on also.)
13. Giving birth is also a part of the Pokécity experience! The baby Pokemon will be controlled by only one of the members of the relationship and will have a simpler, much smaller sign-up than the adult characters, due to them not having much information about themselves in life. Again, VM/PM the game owner or a co-owner if you and the significant other want a baby. (Note: These don't count towards your character limit, unless I (or my co-owners) deem your baby to need to be counted).
14. The jobs are given at a first come, first serve basis (Note: There is a potential that I will add more jobs if I feel it will benefit the game and if it's requested enough.)
15. Please don't butt into other's conversations all the time. If someone is halfway across the city from you and you suddenly jump in, it looks bad and people don't like it.
16. If someone's infringing the rules of the forum or this game (be that directly at you, or at others), instead of flaming them yourselves, report it to either the owner or a co-owner of the game. Justice will be given in time.
17.Most importantly, enjoy yourself.

Rarely has there been peace in the Nation of Novus. Wars and curses have plagued it since records began. But with the end of the Third Great War, and in turn the vanquishing of Bernathy the Witch, it seems times are changing.
Pokécity was abandoned in the Novus Year 189. Various former citizens of the city have died. Wars have started and ended. Times have changed. In NY218, the Nubis Region that Pokécity was based was unified with the Cetera and Farlen regions, as well as the Lucian Kingdom, in order to keep the peace. In NY 219, the repopulating of the now abandoned city began, with their new mayor, Dan the Celebi.
It is currently NY222, and the town has been repopulated successfully. Life is good for the citizens of Pokécity.
But it can’t be forever, can it?
