POKÉGODS: REVENGE OF JORMUNGAND

PROLOGUE

You have been through quite an adventure, haven’t you? Weird, colorful Pokémon are everywhere and most of them are not shiny. It all started when an old man that you and many other Pokémon fanatics know very well, you’ll figure out who, gave you a shiny Magikarp. It would be extremely powerful (a Level 100 Magikarp in a game) if Magikarp could know anything but Splash, Tackle, and Flail. However, since it is shiny, you never questioned it. Ever since, you have been confronted by the weird, colorful Pokémon constantly. Some of them have been friendly, some viscous. Among them are HipHoppip, a lime-green colored Jumpluff that is the king of all Hoppips, Skiplooms, and Jumpluffs. He joined your party until he was killed by a Pokégod, BlueBlueBlueBlueBlueberry Kyogre, while deserting you near Lavender Town. There is a Mint Green Delcatty that looks like any other Delcatty except her head is a minty green color with an almost lime-green body. She has a little-seen sister, Mint Blue Delcatty, that has a peppermint-colored body and deep blue ears.

In addition to many battles, there have been strange occurrences, like the world becoming like a Star Wars movie and the emergence of other Nintendo universe characters into our world, like Captain Falcon, who battled Mint Green Delcatty in front of your very eyes! A Goomba is also in your party, and is naturally somewhat loyal to Bowser.

The plot thickened when a Purple Polkadotted Sudowoodo told you that there was a strange presence in the area of Lavender Town, where HipHoppip was heading. When you arrive there, Goomba suddenly uses a strange power unknown to any other Goomba: it opens an interdimensional rift! The Sudowoodo explains that this rift must lead to the realm of the Pokégods, judging from the aura surrounding it. The Sudowoodo says that your unprecedented Pokémon training abilities should help to shed light on this mystery. He advises you to enter the rift, so you do...

Chapter 1: The Rise Of The Colorful Pokémon

CHAPTER 1: THE RISE OF THE COLORFUL POKÉMON

You emerge from your world of Pokémon into the realm of the Pokégods. Looking around, you see the Mint Green Delcatty and her sister, the Mint Blue Delcatty, slinking towards you.

"Welcome," Mint Green Delcatty says, "I'm glad you could make it. It was your destiny. Goomba brought you here, of course. He has that power; however, I sense that he loves you too much to betray you, so he is useless in our glorious plan."

"And what would that be?" you ask.

"It is simple: enslave all Pokémon to serve our will!"

You’re not surprised– most villains say that.

Mint Blue Delcatty pipes up, "The catch in our plan is your powerful shiny Magikarp. It is the ultimate Pokégod, Jormungand, in disguise."

"Gimme a break," you reply, "It's a Magikarp! It's pathetic!"

"As we said," answers Mint Green, "It's in disguise. We have been trying to get you here with it for a while. Our 'assistants' have attempted to lure you here, but they failed miserably."

Suddenly, it all makes sense to you. Why else would that old guy give you Jormungand in the first place? He wanted it to return and stop the Mint Delcattys! All of them: HipHoppip, BlueBlueBlueBlueberry Kyogre, the shiny Smeargles, the mega Ditto, BlackBlackBlackBlackberry Groudon, Purple Polkadotted Sudowoodo, Ascapade, Midnight Blue, Almost Black Linoone; all of them were merely slaves to the Mint Delcattys, trying to destroy you! And who hated you the most? Mint Green Delcatty!

"Jormungand! Reveal yourself!" she shouts. Instantly, Magikarp frees itself from its Ultra Ball and begins evolving. When it is complete, it is, naturally, a Red Gyrados! Mint Blue Delcatty cowers, but Mint Green Delcatty sneers. Suddenly, Gyrados/Jormungand raises its head and, incredibly, begins to speak...

Chapter 2: Jormungand's Confrontation

CHAPTER 2: JORMUNGAND'S CONFRONTATION

"So you are the two who tried to overthrow me! I should have known. Why else would you, a pair of cat Pokégods, not try to eat me in my Magikarp form? You knew that my death would spark a cataclysmic revolution of Pokégods, leading to the destruction of the entire universe. No, you needed me to return here so you could challenge me in our realm– a realm that you controlled! All the other Pokégods were too easily swayed by your Cute Charm, but not Goomba. He had to join you willingly because he is not a Pokémon and only he could open the rift between the worlds, permitting passage back and forth; passage you needed to wreak havoc on the world of normal Pokémon. But I never realized that, when I discovered the rift, it was you who had ordered its creation.

“I knew that I would not be safe in the other worlds, so I reverted to a Magikarp to avoid discovery. When I arrived on the other side of the rift, I was in the home of an old man named Fuji. He took me in, as he had done with many other Pokémon, but he was most intrigued by me, a shiny Magikarp. There may be millions of Magikarp, but there are very few shiny ones, so he considered me unique. When you," turning to you, "quieted the spirit of Marowak, he kept his eye on you, but only when you were the champion of all Pokémon Leagues and commanded the Battle Frontier did he know that he should reward you. Reluctantly, he chose me. I was ecstatic. Finally, I had an opportunity to explore the effects of the rift, so I revealed myself to him and explained my plight. He understood and was even more pleased to give me to you. By now, however, it had been several years since my arrival and the world was full of your," turning back to the Mint Delcattys, "minions.”

Jormungand turns back to you, “Everything you and I have gone through has finally brought me back here, to find you two; Mint Delcattys. Now I shall deal with you. It will not be pleasant."

Jormungand rears back and charges up a Hyper Beam as the Mint Delcattys prepare to pounce...
