Just saying, I'm nearly done with my SU, I just need to get the last couple of Pokémon sections done, then I'll be ready.
EDIT: Finally done.
Name: Skye Silverstone
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Hometown/Region: Just outside Goldenrod City/Tohjo
Description: Skye is quite tall for her age; she stands at an impressive 170cm, and she also appears to be slim, though this is only because her bones are thin - she wouldn't be as skinny if her bones were of regular size, maybe even be on the slightly chubby side. Due to this, Skye is slightly heavier than she looks, but only slightly - she only weighs at 48kg, which still isn't that much at all. As Skye is an avid dancer, her legs are surprisingly athletic and muscular, though of course they stay mostly hidden under her dress; however, her figure still doesn't have that much of a muscular build otherwise. Also, it's her legs that give her a boost in height, as they are quite long - long for her age, anyway. Her skin is pale, and very sensitive; she is prone to sunburns.*
Skye's eyes are of a pale, peculiar shade of blue-grey, that seem to shine somewhat under the sunshine, and her hair is long, wavy, and light blonde, with swirls of light brown. Her hair comes down to her waist, but she usually keeps it tied back in a loose ponytail, though she usually keeps some of the strands out carelessly. Her mouth is quite smaller than average, and she has slight freckles, though they are not that visible, due to them being rather pale. Her lips seem to be almost naturally formed in a slight smile all the time, and she is rarely ever seen frowning, let alone expressionless.*
Skye, being an upper-class young lady, dresses like one; she wears an ankle-length dress which is pale blue in color with short, ruffled sleeves as well as a large turquoise bow on the back. She, surprisingly, absolutely hates wearing a corset, and goes without one despite being the daughter of an earl. She wears plain white shoes, and to shield her skin from the sunlight, she usually wears a large white sunhat to stop the sun from scorching her face. However, to hide her identity, as the police is probably searching for her, Skye also wears a dark-blue cloak which she wears behind her dress and around her head, tied around at her neck (image will be provided if necessary), so that it conceals most of her body and her face, even though it only comes down to just above the rim of her dress. However, she doesn't wear the hood that often, instead preferring to expose her hair so that she doesn't feel as stuffy. She has a beige satchel as well, to keep all her belongings in. *
Personality: Skye has the innocence and intense curiosity of a child; she can be dense and oblivious at times, missing plainly obvious clues at times, but she isn't exactly stupid, either; though she isn't exactly a genius either, her intense curiosity and will to seek out the truth let her find out about things she wouldn't normally know at her age (and yes, this does include... that). She is always eager to find out about the world, the different Pokémon, about the other regions, and basically everything in existence, often spending time in the library, surrounded by books and encyclopedias. She can also be very nosy sometimes, and even though when she is nosy she never means any harm, it can irritate some people.*
Skye has a weak mind, and is easily persuaded, as well as easily overcome by emotion. She just can't stand watching someone get hurt or abused, and she will do anything she can to stop the victim from being harmed any further. She has an extremely kind and gentle heart, and has a strong sense of justice. Because of her status as a female in her family, she has grown to be more of a quiet listener than a talker, due to her upbringing as a child. However, this does not mean that she is unable to express her emotions; she feels extremely guilty about telling lies, and as an honest person, she sometimes finds it hard to keep her thoughts to herself. She is also a generous and caring person, and is willing to listen to others' problems and help them out in any way possible - she often finds herself as the big sister of the group. In addition to this, she hates having to fight, being a pacifist and strongly against violence, but despite this, she does understand that sometimes, some fighting is required to settle matters.*
Now, onto her honesty. Skye hates telling lies, and dislikes whoever tells lies unless that person has a good reason to do so. She tries to be honest whenever she can, and feels extremely guilty when she hides something from her close ones or tells a lie to them, so avoids doing that as much as possible. She is also very trustworthy, and promises never to tell anyone's secrets. She will never betray anyone, and if she ever does, chances are that she'll feel so guilty, it will plague her mind for weeks, if not months. Despite this, on rare occasions, she will betray others if she really needs to or if it comes with a large reward (after all, she is easily persuaded). One other "negative" trait she has is her over-emotional personality, as she can be put off, angered, and excited by the smallest things. She is also easily frightened and takes most jokes seriously, which, paired with her very weak mind, can prove to have disastrous effects.*
Another thing that should be noted is that Sky is quite shy and socially awkward; though she can be very sociable and friendly if you manage to befriend her, she prefers not to talk to strangers or approach them that often, unless she absolutely needs to. She also prefers silence to noise and the such; she hates crowded spaces in general, as they are often headache-inducing for her.*
History: Skye was born to Lord Silverstone, the 7th Earl of Azalea, a talented and well-educated man. She was the youngest of four, with all three of her older siblings being male, and though she (to her parent's relief ) didn't follow in their boyish, troublesome ways, she often felt left out as she was unable to join in the games they played due to her being a girl, and longed to be more like her brothers, even though she didn't have the courage to do any of the things that her brothers did, such as horse-riding or jousting. She instead preferred to sit in the estate's prestigious garden, dubbed "Joy Garden" due to the happy Pokémon residing within the garden, and play with the Pokémon there. Skye became close enough with some of the Pokémon that she could understand their pattern of speech, as well as know their favourite kinds of food. She, being a natural cook, a talent she inherited from her grandmother, often cooked dishes and poffins for the Pokémon, earning their trust.*
One particular Pokémon Skye was especially close to was a young Houndour, whom she affectionately nicknamed Artemis. Their friendship had first started out as Artemis' love for Skye's spicy poffins, and over time, they gradually began spending more time with each other. Eventually they became the best of friends, and when Skye wasn't having her private lessons, she was almost always found outside with Artemis, playing all sorts of games like catch and tug-of-war with her.*
However, despite the fact that Skye came from a wealthy and upper-class family, there was one serious drawback in her life; her family was very traditional, which meant that females in the family didn't have as many opportunities or privileges as the men, and they were often left to take care of the household and the servants. Skye was no exception to this, and therefore not only was she unable to learn the more interesting subjects that her brothers had the luxury of learning, such as Geography and History, she was also expected to stay inside the house and help her mother than play outside with the Pokémon. Of course, there were lots of parties - at least one every month - but Skye hated the very idea of parties, disliking the loud music and the noisy chatter, not to mention the large crowd that always came. She much preferred peace and quiet. Therefore, Skye was often forced to be well-mannered and tame, though what she really wanted to do was to explore the region.*
One day, Skye overheard two of the servants conversing about the Silver Town Campaign, or whatever it was called - apparently, people from all around the world were invited to join and to start their own Pokémon Journeys. At once Skye was fascinated by this concept, and longed to be a part of it. But of course, her background meant that that would be a completely unacceptable thing to do; it would be a disgrace to the family to have such an unladylike female like her, going off on Pokémon Journeys like that. But she was determined to participate in the Campaign no matter what, captivated by the idea of exploring Tohjo freely and with her Pokémon, and therefore, one moonless night, on a night where everyone was occupied with a huge party that was being *in the estate, and, calling out Artemis from Joy Garden, she explained her plan of escaping to Silver Town, and how she wanted her to accompany her and officially become her Pokémon. Willing to help out Skye at all times, Artemis obliged without objection, and so, the two of them set out for Silver Town, both with high hopes.*
Other: Skye speaks with a posh, upper-class accent (or to be more specific, British), though she tries to hide this so it isn't obvious that she comes from an upper-class family. To hide her accent she speaks quietly.*
Starting Pokémon: Houndour
Nickname: Artemis
Gender: Female
Pokémon Appearance: Artemis is just a normal Houndour to most, but upon closer inspection, you'll learn that 1) the plates on her back are actually a darker shade of the usual silver or grey, 2) her pupils are larger in size and more like dark brown than black, and 3) she is larger than normal, at the height of 0.75m (2.5 feet) tall - a full 0.05m (0.5 feet) taller than your average Houndour. She is also quite compared to most, weighting at about 13kg (29lbs), while the average Houndour would weigh slightly less than that.*
Pokémon Personality: Artemis is playful and mischievous, as well as a huge troublemaker, but she can be very sweet at times - that is, when she is around Skye, or when she is trying to get out of trouble, or when she is begging for food - but that doesn't mean that Artemis cannot be genuinely kind either. Under her bold, fearless cover, you will find an Artemis who is caring and generous, and someone who is protective and like a big sister to some. Artemis also hates being dependent on someone else, preferring to train and hunt alone (unless Skye's delicious poffins are involved) as well as solve her own problems by herself - she doesn't like having to place her own burdens on anyone else, not even Skye.*
Pokémon History: Artemis was an orphan from an early age, and therefore often relied on herself to get her tasks done (hence why she likes being independent). One day she was lured into Joy Garden by the delicious smell of poffins wafting through the air, and there she found Skye. Artemis continued to hang around Joy Garden, happy to be able to play with Pokémon of her age and to eat Skye's specialty poffins, and over time, the two of them bonded.*
Attacks: Leer, Howl, Ember, Smog, Thunder Fang
Pokémon Other: One of Artemis' ancestors was a Luxray (which explains the Egg Move). She is also allergic to some kinds of berries, most particularly Chesto Berries, and will be unable to use any Fire-Type Moves if she eats any of the berries that she's allergic to.*
