There's no battle royale, so Pikachu vs Metagross is a real quarterfinals match

Now the only thing that's confusing is that it felt like in the preview that Cynthia/Lance had their Pokemon attacking from the same side of the stadium, implying they couldn't be one of the battles

Iris vs Cynthia might then be the real top 8 battle, with that being Lance's Dragonite facing Diantha's Gardevoir
