Yea perhaps this isn’t as much proof as it implies. We already know who Pikachu, Gourgeist, Dragonite, Rillaboom, Aagron, MCX and Gardevior belong to. Who’s Charizard is that? If that’s Lance’s then that means he’s most likely gonna debut it and doubt the writers will wanna give up a GMAX Charizard vs MCY.

Unless Iris magically caught a Charizard in between.

Steven - Cradily, Mega Metagross
Cynthia - Milotic, Mega Garchomp
