Pokémon Battle Academy (Official RP)
- Standard SPPF roleplaying rules - If you haven't read them already, dont bother.
- ABSOLUTELY NO GODMODDING - An RP i joined had a person that did this continuously, and I will not stand for it. Two strikes and you're out for this.
- If your character is to have a romance with another, please no 'Love at first sight' bull, unless you have clarified that your characters hae met before and already has a crush or something like that.
- If you don't agree with something someone has put, or you feel it offensive, don't start flaming the person and causing arguements, tell me. I will not stand for rule breaking in my rp and I WILL deal with it.
- Be active. If you are on holiday/any other reason you can't post, tell me beforehand and I will exempt you of this rule. If not, not posting atleast 4 times within a week, you are out.
- Don't take control of the RP. I've also had a problem with this in an RP, where the person completely made up his own plot and controlled the rp, no names. I have a plot layed out, I will decide when events occur, I AM THE GAME MASTER, You are NOT.
- If i sound strict, I apologise but it is only because I want the RP to run smoothly.
-Please double space between paragraphs, it is so much easier to read.
- When posting, put the name of the character you are posting as as the title of the post, as I have done. If you have multiple characters, divide them however you want, but so we can see that they are two different characters.
- Have fun!
Rules extra:
- When evolving pokémon, pm me beforehand. Your chances of evolving your pokemon will be assessed by your post quality, and how many battles said pokémon has been in. If you have terrible post quality, you can still evolve your pokemon if it has won alot of battles. However dont just post npc battles so you always win, and if i see you doing this you will get a warning. In the case of item evolutions/trading, they are exempted from this rule. However it is advised not to use evolution stones straight away, as the pokemon will not learn certain moves. Trading is risky, and make sure you can trust the character you are trading with. If your pokemon gets stolen, then you should'e chose a better trading partner.
- When catching a pokémon, also pm me first. This will mainly be assessed on your post quality aswell. You can decide which pokemon you want to catch, but I will decide whether you catch it or not. It also depends on rarity. Say for instance you wanted to catch an Absol, or a stong single evolution pokemon, you will need to have a better than average post count to do so.
- You're probably thinking 'Well that gives you an unfair advantage, you can catch whatever you want.' Wrong. Judging by all your first posts, I will pick a 'Co-Game Master'. They can give warning, but not ban people. If they see something that deserves a second warning, they can leave me a message so I can infract them accordingly. They will have the job of this whenever I would like to catch a pokémon.
- If i find you haven't read the rules, you will get a warning.
Everyone, have fun again.

"Yes i'd like to buy some potions please." a man explained to a market salesman. His black long hair blew out of his face, only to reveal shades that hid his eyes. A large purple rodent sat by the mans leg, staring up at the shop keeper, and happily exclaimed "Nidoooo!"
"Heh. Sounds like you're going on a big adventure RIco." the salesman replied. "How many do you want?"
"You know it uncle. I've signed up for the Battle Academy. I'll become stonger than ever after training there!" Rico replied, holding his clenched fist up, pumped up and ready for the challenges that he would come across. Calming down slightly, he said "Four please."
His uncle looked at him skeptically. He knew what the Battle Academy was, but he was unsure about Rico going so far away. However, he knew that Rico could take care of himself. Taking some potions from the bottom shelf of his stall, he placed them in a bag, slightly pausing for a moment. There was no one in the queue for his stall, he had time. "Well I know someone who would like to say goodbye before you leave" his uncle smirked, pulling out one of his pokeballs, releasing his huge version of Rico's Nidorino. It raised its arms high and yelled "Nidooooo!"
"Ah Nidoking! Its been a while." Rico was incredibly happy to see him, he hadn't seen Nidoking since he first got his Nidoran. Nidoking smiled, and turned to stare at Nidorino. They were somewhat rivals. Nidoking clearly outmatched Nidorino in strength, but Nidorino classed him as his rival. Nidoking chuckled and put his huge hand on Nidorino's head, as if to say 'So long.' Nidorino smiled and nodded. Another customer came along to the stall and Rico had to move.
"Wait Rico!" his uncle shouted after him, Rico immediately turning and coming back. "Take this. Dont use it yet, you remember when you're meant to use it right?" he muttered, handing a dirty purple stone to him.
"Th-This is... a moon stone?" Rico stuttered, staggered by what his uncle had given him. "Yeah, I know when to use it, when Nidorino learns toxic spikes right?" he looked down at Nidorino, him and his pokemon looking at eachother with a serious face. He looked back to his uncle and shook his hand. "I'll miss you uncle, thankyou." he finally walked off, removing his sunglasses and revealing his black eyes, swishing his hair out of his face at the same time. Nidorino followed shortly behind, looking at the other pokemon gathered around Slateport city. These would be his friends, and his opponents at the same time. Rico did the same with the people around, and felt the same. "Dont worry Nidorino, we'll win against all of these." he said, Nidorino nodding in agreement.
Please read through this introduction or you may not understand some of the events. It looks like alot of writing, but read through all of this and everything will go smoothly.

Just a simple, beginner style RPG.
The world of pokémon. Filled with excitement and adventure, Ash and his friends Brock and Misty, travel the world, with Ash aspiring to be a pokémon master... but we don't like that story anymore. We at Pokémon decided to actually let years pass, and three years after that, out new story begins.
Run by Lance of the Elite Four himself, the Pokémon Battle Academy has become the most talked about thing in every region. Trainers from around the globe have gathered at Slateport City in Hoenn, just to enter this facility. It is mainly designed for medium level trainers, with tutors, and many battling classes alike. Beginners are also welcome, with the simplest classes and specially trained tutors. Specialised contest teachers are also present at the academy to teach aspiring co-ordinators the basics surrounding combinations and appeals. Teachers are hand picked by Lance himself, with the idea of Strategy, and Power in mind. The Battle Academy definately is something that an aspiring trainer does not want to miss out on.
However, Lances true intentions in the creation of the academy are spread amongst rumours. They say that Lance is looking for one trainer, who he will call upon to do him 'a favour'. Other rumours say that Lance will be holding a tournament, and winner gets a shot at the elite four of any region he/she chooses. There are many other theory's surrounding this, but one not well known one holds alot of truth.
A secret organisation, known as The Crusade, have recently come out of hiding. They're intentions in the past were to revive a certain pokémon, which was held in a fossil. Now this may seem simple to ordinary Fossil reviving technology, but this one was different. It required three gems, or 'Relics', to be able to revive this pokémon. Its power was said to rival the power of Arceus, with the ability to change its type and resist attacks of certain types. Its power however was not as great as Arceus', and they modified its genetic makeup. Special forces managed to hunt the crusade down eventually, and put a stop to this. The escaped members, including the leader, fled and went into hiding, whilst the Fossil was put in a museum. However...
Friday 13th, June. The date was no coincidence, the date the fossil was stolen. Security tapes from the museum showed a strange man wearing a black cloak, staring at the fossil. It was midnight. The hooded figure stepped forwards, somehow passing through the rope that guarded it, and did not set off the security alarms. He raised his arm towards the fossil, and picked up the frame which contained the fossil. Still no alarms. Almost strolling out with the fossil, the man turned to the camera. The darkness of the room hid everything apart from a dark green eye, and the pale skin surrounding it. The fossil had been stolen by someone.
Now if this rumour spread, people would think to themselves, 'Why the battle academy then? Whats the point?' This is the reason the rumour isn't popular. It was just a hunch to them. But to Lance, it was more than that. You see, supposedley, the three relics to ressurect the fossil were hidden on the island. Lance was one of the few people that knew this, the only others being Cynthia and Alder. The Battle academy was a disguise, and protection of the relics.
And you as a trainer, are to become part of this great Academy, and furthermore, be part of possibly one of the greatest story's to ever be told in the world of Pokémon. You find yourself in slateport city, having taken a boat, plane, car, or any form of transport. You have already signed up for the academy prior to the trip, and you have exactly 30 minutes before the boat leaves. You may have time to socialise beforehand, but most should logically be done on the boat, or after you are placed into your dormitorys(dorms). There are 4 dorms; The Artic-Uno Dorm, rooms designated 1A, 1B, etc, The Zap-Dos dorm, rooms designated 2A, 2B, and... you get the picture. The fourth dorm is the Teachers Dorm, which is self explanitory. They are each located on four different parts of the island. The island is divided into 4 sections. There are three spits of land branching off from the island, the dorms being situated at the tip of each spit. When you get off the boat, you will arrive at a place called Dragonite Harbour, which has stalls with pokéballs and merchandise, and holds fairs occasionally. Wild pokémon do live on the island, but in small numbers, so catching pokémon is limited. So, here we are in slateport city. You must be nervous, because you're about to become part of this academy.
