Pokémon Box & evolving

If I transfer, let's say, Graveler from Ruby to PKMN Box at GCN. And then from PKMN Box to Fire Red, will it evolve into a Golem this way?

Or isn't Box even compatible with Fire Red?

Nope, it's not considered a trade, more of a deposisting/withdrawing from boxes just like in the game.

Pokemon Box is compatable with all five GBA titles but for FR/LG/E you need the national dex- without it, it does not even let you deposit your own pokemon if I remember.
