Have pikachu "talk" to the oddish by getting pikachu's attention and directing it to the oddish. The oddish will request a doll you have in the room and then it will become happy when you give it one. It's a way to keep the dolls coming in and pikachu happy in opening boxes from the tv store. You may have to wait a bit until that particular doll comes up for sale again but not very long if you keep tuning in. You will find other critters in your room visiting Pikachu as the game progresses and they will request different dolls.
You increase pikachu's friendliness when you give away the dolls.

this is one in the cabinet under your shelf. only ones that are in your house when you enter it ask for a doll and you'll know if it want a doll.(it goes though a little talk then sellection of giving the doll to it. when you find it it will be holding one) I've seen that one before all that happens is you direct pika to it, have him open it and then he will start flailing his arms and screaming PIKA! PIKA! PIKA! then he will close the door on the oddish and if you open it back up ITS GONE! PIKACHU WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT :p

You just have to wait for it to appear, try watching at different times in the day.

Help! With Pokemon Box:

I've been trying to transfer pokemon from box to fire red and from fire red to box. Both ways it hasn't worked, it says "you have to get a pokedex" or something, but i have got a pokedex. I am only at the start of the game though, caught 2 pokemon (pidgey and rattata) as well as my starter and training. Do you have to wait till you get to a certain part of the game?

I think you need the Natinonal dex for FR/LG to use Box with them(trade/storage)

No, you need at least 60 Pokémon to trade between Box and FR/LG.

Okay, I recently was bothered enough to go and get myself Fire Red, after finishing Colosuem on the Gamecube.
Im now thinking of getting Pokemon Box Ruby and Sapphire, and just wanted to know what the trade over restrictions are:
Obviously you cant trade from Colosuem and Xd to Box
As written earlier you need 60 pokemon in FR/LG before you can transfer over to Box (which sucks, I wanted to get all 3 starters easy, ).

My main inquiry is what are the restrictions on R/S/E? Can you trade straight to Box straightaway, or is there another pokedex related restriction?

I plan on getting Emerald soon (was not much of a fan of Ruby when I borrowed it, but Ive heard Emerald is better) and if there are any crazy restrictions on transferring pokemon to box, then I wont go out and get it.

in r/s/e, ull need at least 100 pokemon and national dex( emerald only).

good luck on finding box.

Getting it isnt a problem, its still on the occasional shelf, or I can ebay it if I want.

Just since you need to have 60, or 100 pokemon to transfer them across, it just doesnt suit the purpose I wanted it for, seeing as If I restart a game, its usually early on, not just before I face the elite 4 or something.

But thanks for the info, its very hard to find anything useful about pokemon box.

About Pokemon Channel, the spiritual sequal to a certain N64 Pika-title,
How many days does it take to reach the conclusion of the game? What must I do? Collect everything, including cards and props?

Without changing the game clock, you can 'complete' the game up until Jirachi in six days.

To collect everything ever, may take you as long as a month.

Yeah, if you have Freeloader or an Gamecube Action Replay (Freeloader is also included in Gamecube AR). You would also need a Japanese copy of Ruby or Sapphire as well, the American versions of Ruby/Sapphire won't work with Japanese Pokemon Box.

Takes a bit of preparation but I found a quick way of completing box if you have more than one cartridge.

A friend and I got together with about 6 cartridges and dumped all the pokemon onto box making sure to carefully write down whos pkmon were in each box and which cartridge the belonged to. any pokemon we wanted to remain 'happy' were left on the origional cartridge.

the trick here is that all pokemon must be from a single cartridge. to fix this problem we simply loaded as many boxes onto a single cartridge as we could, SAVED then put them back. we did this with every box and swapped back untill the game thought all pokemon had been deposited with one cartridge. result a surfing pichu and all the other pokemon!

we then repeated the process for every cartridge and got a full set of box pokemon for every cartridge used. then transferred all pokemon back to all the cartridges they came from.

beats completing box 0nce with a single cartridge.

umm.... i have emerald and am getting a Wii soon and i am curious to whether Pokemon Box is compadible with the Wii. (The Wii does play standard GC games, correct?)

The Wii is compatible with all GC games and is also compatible with the GCN - GBA cable, thus Channel should work.

JIRACHI (PAL VERSION ONLY!)
========================

Q: Oh, okay. Do I get anything special from this?
A: Jirachi (PAL).

Q: How do I get Jirachi (PAL)?
A: Get the Starlight Projector on the sixth day and go to Camp Starlight. After that, go to download and follow Prof. Oak's instructions. Actually you download Jirachi from the main menu under options.

The real way is in bold. Words in italics are wrong.
