Sorry, Niihyl, but your reserve expired. If you quickly make a draft sign up, you could claim a spot, but you need to hurry.

I'll slip in to reserve; I have a character that I've been wanting to flesh out anyhow and she'd fit in well here...

Gotcha. Great to have you, you're an awesome RPer.

Posthuman
I am saddened by the banning of utter chaotic insanity, where your puny mortal minds regular people can’t even think about the contortions of time, space, and the fabric of existence itself without going completely insane. Oh well.

Never let go of your dreams, for the world is an illusion, and we only truly awaken in the midst of our nightly reveries.

Name: Reverie Kiyochi (Revi)

Age: 17

Physical Description: Revi is rather different. She has narrow, slanted eyes, which are deep brown in color. Her skin is lightly tanned, the ‘yellow’ (there honestly needs to be a better term) color common among Asian people. She has a soft, childlike face, but with a sharp, and near-constant grin. She is missing one of her canine teeth, the bottom right one. A horizontal scar marks her cheek, from her ear to just under her eye. Most noticeable is her hair however, which is platinum blonde, nearly white, with the left side dyed a deep violet. Her hair is around chin-length, with asymmetrical bangs covering one eye. A few strands of hair on each side extend downward to her shoulders.

Revi is around 5’4”, rather short, but lean. She has long legs, narrow shoulders and hips, with well-defined (although not bodybuilder-defined) muscle. She has long fingers, which are rough and callused. On her hands are comfortable, fingerless gloves. The gloves have metal knuckles sewn in. Her shoulders carry several faded scars. She wears white, fabric elbow pads, similar to tennis wristbands. A pair of simple white earbuds are usually in her ears, music sounding through.

As for clothing, Revi usually wears a sleeveless black ‘Under Armour’ top, and comfortable, white sweatpants for running. A pair of stylish white Nikes rounds out the outfit.

Personality: Wild and free, and unrestrained by the things that keep other people down. She speaks her mind, seeming blunt at times. She does what she feels is right at all times. Her friends and family may influence her choices, but in the end, no one decides for her and heaven help anyone who tries. A fighter by nature, she isn’t afraid to knock some sense into anyone who wants to control her. She’s quite devious, and likes to jokingly refer to herself as a criminal mastermind. As cool as that would be… no.

Parkour is her passion. There’s nothing more liberating to her than the feel of the air rushing past as she leaps across rooftops. A fast paced person, she is aggravated by the slow and the meek. A daredevil and an adrenaline junkie, Revi’s tried her hand at skydiving, street racing, and street battling. She lives for action and adventure. She doesn’t actively go about trying to break rules. She just doesn’t care much. Noise, chaos, and thrills are her element. With her earphones in, she practically lives with her own personal soundtrack.

Although flighty at times, Revi is a person you can count on. She always works to 110%, and keeps her promises, and is one of the best friends you can hope for. Although she can be relied on, she finds it difficult to trust in others, preferring to believe only in her own abilities. This can be seen with her Pokémon as well. Rather than ordering Pokémon from afar, she prefers to see them as compatriots, and fights alongside them.

Revi keeps those who count as her friends close to heart. She may still berate you for being slow or foolish. She may still make a sarcastic remark. But where it counts, she’ll be there.

The new and the bold excite her. Revi always has the newest gadgets, never content with the old and comfortable. She loves reading, watching movies, and all other forms of fiction. She would do anything to free herself from the, to her, dull, normal world. Fantasy and sci-fi are things she loves, as being so different from our regular old world. She has claustrophobia, and hates cramped and dark places, and even feels uncomfortable being indoors in general. She craves adventure and freedom.

Dreamrunning fulfilled that need. The world of dreams can be anything at all, and this was a glorious escape from that bland old thing called life. Worlds where superpowers existed. Where people could fly, breathe underwater, and fight monsters. If she was shunned, feared, and discriminated against? Excellent. Revi has always reveled in being unique, being different. Conforming to other people’s standards and beliefs isn’t for her at all.

Her parents were conspiracy theorists, the ‘crackpots’ down the road. A little bit of that rubbed off on Revi, and she always has an eye out for the men in black. Just a little quirk. She has a great dislike of those who think they know best. She doesn’t like being told that she has to believe in this god or that, or that she has to follow someone else’s idea of right and wrong.

The concepts of the lovable rogue, the witty outlaw, and the chivalrous thief have always inspired her. She always has a quick one-liner, and isn’t too troubled by immoral actions. It’s all just fun and games to her. It’s a rather childish aspect, as is a lot of her personality. She hasn’t seen true darkness, and doesn’t know how dark the world can be. She has too much empathy to be truly cruel.

Cruelty and darkness scare her just a bit. She has had night terrors since childhood, and her every dream houses a nightmare.

History: Revi was born to two of the coolest parents ever. At least by a teenager’s standards. Everyone else would probably say they were irresponsible. Her parents were both big conspiracy theorists, constant travelers, ‘hippies’ even. Revi grew up exposed to hundreds of cultures, many religions, and just as many different people. Revi has what could be a world record of getting lost in every single city in the Pokémon World. And getting arrested in most of them. Apparently the local police don’t approve of young girls climbing their buildings.

Revi loved her life, the constant excitement, the permanent feeling of newness with every day. She took up gymnastics and rock climbing at an early age, but found that while fun, they weren’t interesting. She translated the in-gym skills to the world, practicing Parkour throughout the cityscape of Black City. She spent lots of time in the hospital, healing sprained ankles, broken bones, and other cuts and abrasions.

Constantly moving, constantly traveling, Revi loved every single place she went to, and had a passion for the odd and different bits of history. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova, she’s visited them all. She was born in Unova, in Black City to be precise. Black City was where they returned to after their trips.

Revi discovered her dreamrunning talent at a young age, when she was seven years old. When she told her parents, they were delighted. They taught her to always be proud of herself, and to quite honestly ignore everyone else’s opinions of her. ‘The only person you should be trying to make proud is yourself” they said. She took it to heart.

At school, some people feared her, hated her, and looked down on her. But there were also those who didn’t care about how different she was. These were her real friends. She salved their nightmares, and grew up with them. She was always on the move, so she didn’t keep friends for long periods of time, but no matter where she went, there were at least one or two people who could look beyond the ‘different’ the ‘monstrous’, and manage to be friendly. And there were also people who would have burned her at a stake if they could.

When the world began collapsing, it was just another adventure. Getting hurt in dreams was for real now. The balance had shifted, and it was all the more exciting. When Cresselia came to her, she accepted the mission. Other Dreamrunners… that would be an interesting experience.

Pokémon 1:

Name: Glimmer

Species: Sneasel

Gender: Female

Personality: Stylish, vain, and quick with a blade. Glimmer is quick to anger, and very likely to cut those who aggravate her without a second thought. She is rather vain, preening her red ‘feathers’ carefully after every fight. Just as fast paced as her partner Revi, she is constantly in a state of movement, having a case of ADHD. She is also a mild kleptomaniac, collecting shiny objects for no obvious reason.

Glimmer and Revi share an easy partnership, having fought together for a long time. Glimmer actually obeys Revi rather often. Revi rarely gives Glimmer orders though, they fight together instinctively, knowing each other’s moves well.

History: Glimmer was a street Pokémon, who stole from shops and houses, attacked ten-year olds on their journeys, and was a general source of havoc. Hailing from Olivine City, Revi met the little criminal when she was only nine years old. Even then a swift little girl, she chased Glimmer across rooftops, causing quite a bit of chaos on the way. Eventually, Revi caught Glimmer, and was exempt from trouble on the condition that she take Glimmer with her.

Trust didn’t come easy, but eight years of working together inspires camaraderie. Having not evolved is a bit of a sore point, but it doesn’t bother her too much.

Pokémon 2:

Name: Templar

Species: Gallade

Gender: Male

Personality: Stoic and calm, Templar bears an air of constant relaxation. He fights with a professional demeanor, doing his best to finish the job quickly and easily. He is generally silent, preferring to relax and stay in the background. Actually rather shy, he doesn’t like being in the spotlight. He has his own sense of justice, which he upholds. He protects the weak and the innocent. He has a soft spot for young children, and will not fight children in general.

There’s always a slight tension between Revi and Templar. Her lawlessness is upsetting to him, and he does his best to try and keep her in line. Revi despises this, but likes Templar enough to not be too annoyed. Templar has more or less given up trying. He defends Revi because he owes her, and has grown to care for the errant girl over time.

History: Templar used to be a bodyguard for a big-name crimelord. It was his job, simple as that. When the crimelord was captured by the police, he was put in detention as well. As an errant Pokémon, he was to be kept for a few years, and watched to see if he could rejoin society safely.

Templar was cell-mates with Revi for a day. She had been caught illegally Pokémon battling in the middle of the city, and they had locked her up for a day to teach her a lesson. Not that she’d ever learn…

Revi was galled by the fact that Templar was just sitting here, when he could easily escape. As soon as she got out, she got her parents to file Pokémon adoption papers. For better or worse, Templar belonged to Revi now. Still, it was better than rotting in jail for years. Owing her a debt, he went with her, and vowed to try and get her in line.

A hopeless battle...

Pokémon 3:

Name: Adamant

Species: Steelix

Gender: Male

Personality: Cunning and shrewd, not what you would expect from a massive metal snake-monster. Like the dragons of yore, Adamant blends physical strength with a devious mind. Adamant is always working some angle, to benefit himself. He is rather greedy, and collects both valuable objects and information.

Adamant will brook no insult, but fights for his master unswervingly. He has too much pride to betray her. For turncoats are the lowest of the low, and Adamant keeps his head held high. Adamant fights with intelligence, tricks and traps, over brute force. Merely overpowering a foe isn’t enough. It must be done artfully.

History: Adamant was one of the weaker Onix. Smaller than the rest. Constantly defeated, he retreated to deep in the earth, deeper than others dared to go. The pain was great, but he funneled it into plotting. He evolved into Steelix early. He was still smaller than the others, but had spent hundreds of years plotting his revenge. He returned to the surface, and dominated the competition, becoming a ruler among the Pokémon under Mt. Coronet.

He met Revi one day. A ridiculous thing, this 15 year old girl, wanting to capture a being as mighty as a Steelix? It was a hard, long match of wits, strength, and just plain out cheating. In the end, both human and Pokémon were in the hospital. But Revi had managed to fit Steelix into a Poke-Ball. She had won this round…

Dream World: The Flux Sphere: Labyrinth Orb

Description: Picture, if you will, a perfect sphere, which is a spherical orb, around 30 miles in diameter. Imagine the sphere’s surface is about a hands’ width thick. Take this sphere, and make it hollow. On the inside of the sphere’s surface, place a city. Gravity pushes outward, so everything remains grounded on the inside of this hollow sphere. A star, similar to the sun, but much smaller, floats in the center of this ball, providing heat and light.

This is a city whose denizens hail from all across history. Oriental paper-walled pagodas, European castles, hewn from heavy stone, and ‘Old West’ saloons sit side by side around the inside of the sphere. Only one difference… the buildings are hundreds of stories high. The people are just as varied, ninjas, cowboys, nomads, soldiers, and even a wizard or two. But the future is ever-present in Flux City. Advanced cell phones, lightsabers, flying cars, mechanical horses, and many other things that show that the world isn’t stuck in the past.

Pokémon exist here. The city is populated by many different types. The lack of nature causes only Pokémon that survive in an urban habitat to exist.

The city is close, urban, and packed. People mill about the streets at all hours, day or night. But the rooftops of the buildings are clear, and laws just don’t seem to apply anymore. On the rooftops of these impossibly tall skyscrapers are people, riding skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, scooters, or just plain running. But not just on the skyscrapers, but across the sky itself. Graffiti marks the clouds, and people do impossible stunts through the air.

Oh, and did we mention that the sphere is floating in an infinite sky?

The weather is just all the more exciting, especially as it appears from nowhere. It may rain at one moment, and just minutes later a blizzard will start, covering the city in a layer of pure white, only to be melted away by the blazing sun. The creativity of the weather would surprise you. Perhaps the clouds are sentient; they seem to have a sense of irony, raining whenever you most need it to be clear, and the sun shining brightly when you need to sneak or hide.

The city is being invaded by an insidious force. They call it Labyrinth. People are sucked off the streets, taken into an impossible maze, which is on the outside of the sphere. The Labyrinth’s walls are gray, and the passages are quite narrow. The maze constantly shifts and changes, trying to get those who enter to be lost alone, forever. On the outside of the sphere, gravity works normally, keeping everyone on the surface.

The inhabitants resist, because rebellion is what they do. But how can you kill something that isn’t alive…?

The only way to exit the Flux Sphere, and enter the Labyrinth, is to touch the star in the center of the Flux Sphere. Doing so will warp you into the Labyrinth… a maze that none escape.

Broken Rules of Reality: All these pesky rules like gravity can be bent by anyone. Impossible aerial stunts and flight are possible. The weather is chaotic, constantly in a state of flux, somehow appearing from nowhere.

Inside the Labyrinth, it is always cold. It is always cold, and very, very dim. It is utterly silent, and any sound made is muted and difficult to hear. The Labyrinth’s walls change and shift, making it impossible to remember passageways.

What your character likes (Allies of the Dreamrunners): Revi likes freedom, the wild, the outlaws. Pokémon that can fight, have high speed, and are ‘tough’ or ‘cool’ fight the Labyrinth, attempting to map out that infinite maze where all of Revi’s fears are hidden. Dreamrunners take the form of these Pokémon, or any other type of fighter from history.

What your character hates (Enemies of the Dreamrunners): Revi hates being trapped. Being forced to play by other people’s rules, and being lost, not in control. The Labyrinth is the Nightmare Nemesis, and the only enemy in the Flux Sphere.

The Labyrinth is a maze, wrapped around the planet. It is slowly seeping into the city, causing walls to spring up. The maze is not harmless, as it spawns night terrors, horrifying monsters of every kind, all hungry for blood. Twisted, torn versions of the ‘cute’ Pokémon that Revi dislikes in life. Vicious monsters, covered in teeth, claws, tentacles, and wings. Hordes of zombies, chasing down the heroes. The air, vanishing, which causes a vacuum to appear all of a sudden. Water, flooding the maze, meaning they must swim to desperately find air. And the walls themselves are an enemy, changing around, causing you to get lost, alone, and then closing in.

The Nightmare Nemesis can be defeated by finishing the maze. By taking a third option, smashing through the walls, shooting the lock, and breaking the rules. Once freed from the maze, the oppressive walls will vanish, leaving free air.

Avenger Angel

Warrior of Heaven
Not done yet, but I've made some good progress.

Human

Name: Kenneth Donavan
Age: 27
Gender: Male

Physical Description: Standing 6'3", Kenneth weighs 180 pounds and has a somewhat strong, muscular build. Meanwhile, he has short, brown hair brushed downward (usually quickly with his hands), along with brown eyes. Besides this, he has tan-colored skin, strong hands, and usually a confident expression, usually smiling when something comical happens, or giving idiots the peculiar look they deserve.

For clothing, he usually wears a black t-shirt or sweatshirt depending on the weather, and dark gray cargo pants. He also wears black sneakers, a black sports watch, and a brown leather belt that has seen a lot of wear and tear over the many years he's had it. His clothing is a bit beat up and a bit politically incorrect. For example, his black t-shirt has a drunken Chatot with a beer mug with the words "I swear to drunk I'm not god!" He also has a tattoo of a Lugia with a rose in its mouth on his left upper arm.

In terms of physical traits, Kenneth is probably best known for his speed, much better at sprinting and moving quickly rather than relying off of endurance. He is also perceptive, and picks up on signs and things other people would overlook and miss.

Personality: Sarcastic, impatient, and politically incorrect, Kenneth knows there are plenty of stupid, moronic, and annoying things in life, and he knows the best way to handle them is with sarcasm. He often finds himself with bad company every time he seems to socialize with other people, but he does have friends here and there, and does go out to meet new people from time to time. He finds that his fellow Dreamrunners are probably some of the sanest people he's met, which is quite an accomplishment considering he considers half the world completely insane.

Despite Kenneth's nature, he does have a strong sense of morality and justice, as he hates mean people and raw deals, especially against people who really didn't deserve it. He does, however, have a few roguish antics to him, which include giving stupid answers to stupid questions, being sneaky with pranks, and telling white lies. He also isn't very dramatic in his composure, and tends to think drama in general is just silly and makes people look like fruitcakes. As a favorite quote of his, he says "I don't fear death, as being allowed to sleep in as long as I like seems fine with me." He is also daring, and feels he doesn't feel like crawling carefully through life only to safely arrive at death. In addition, he is usually quick to forgive and even forget, feeling that people "just make mistakes sometimes" and it's no big deal as long as no one got really hurt because of it.

Kenneth also likes to poke fun at his enemies, pushing their buttons to total aggravation "just to see what happens." He even does it to his friends sometimes, but just as a tease. Kenneth likes and enjoys the company of bird Pokémon, and has always been fascinated by the power of flight. He also likes them for their speed and their finesse. Besides that, he likes Flying and Dragon type Pokémon as his core favorites. He, however, hates Rock and Ice types, mainly because they are the main adversaries of his beloved Flying and Dragon types. He also finds most Rock and Ice types are downright ugly, and the reality of their ability to crush, bury, and freeze their targets solid disturbs him a bit.

He is also a junkie for computer and video games, especially first person shooters played online with other people. Trash talking and trolling other people online is a beloved pastime of his, as it never disappoints him about how crazy some people are to take a simple game just so darn seriously.

History: Kenneth was born in Castelia City, Unova. As a young child, Chris has a strong liking to his parents, especially his mother. He also really enjoyed the big city environments, and all of the many things urban living had to offer. In school, he made friends and was open to socializing, but also liked to play pranks, create a little mischief, and get into trouble every now and then. But never once did he get into any real serious trouble like with the law.

Kenneth discovered his powers as a Dreamrunner early, despite the fact there was no real documentation of them at all. In truth, in the beginning, he thought it was something that everyone had, but when he tried to explain the whole process to his mother and father, they simply thought he was playing pretend and didn't actually have such powers. Regardless, he tried it on both his younger sister and his older brother, and discovered it still worked, and he did appear in their dreams. Sometimes the dreams were simple and weren't anything dangerous. However, as he noticed, the more stress that his brother and sister had in real life, the more their dreams were dangerous, and sometimes involved vivid and nightmarish battles and threatening situations. Kenneth, as laid back as he was, never really had such situations and never really had many nightmares of his own.

Before Kenneth set off on his journey, he was given an Emolga by his father, a Pokémon that was native to Unova, which he named Nitro. It wasn't that he didn't trust the starters that Professor Juniper offered, but he didn't really warm up to any of them. And as Professor Juniper quickly discovered, Kenneth wasn't big on filling up his Pokédex either, and just didn't have the patience for the thing. The Kenneth Chris never understood was that he needed to catch Pokémon in order to fill up the entries. Not to mention the fact that Professor Juniper had been researching Pokémon for years, and yet had provided nothing in the Pokédex to start off with.

In truth, Kenneth focused on only a few Pokémon, training his favorites rather than ones that were powerful. During his journeys, Kenneth had captured a Braviary, which he named Patriot, and raised a Dratini he caught in Dragonspiral Tower to a Dragonite, which he named Razorback. In truth, he was content enough with three Pokémon, and didn't need to capture more and more only to toss them into a box.

Kenneth was also casual about the way he obtained badges, and didn't really strive to be the fastest or the best, but simply wanted to enjoy the ride while it lasted. Eventually, it ended, Kenneth returned to schooling, college, and eventually landed a job at an advertising agency. He didn't really make exclusive use of his Dreamrunner ability until the comas started popping up, and he began to ran into a few others that had the same Dreamrunner ability that he did. However, when the comas started getting worse and he realized the world of dreams was merging with reality, he knew he had to drop everything... especially as everything was suddenly dropping around him...

Pokémon
Normal States

Name: Nitro
Species: Emolga
Gender: Male
Personality: Nitro is fearless, spunky, and always feels like he's ready to take on the world with a stroke of speed, finesse, and confidence. Big and tough Pokémon may be intimidating a bit, but he also uses ninja-like tactics of speed, stealth, and surprise to bring down even the heavy lugs. He also gets a good laugh out of it. Because the two are so alike, Nitro and Kenneth get along extremely well.
History: Nitro has been with Kenneth from the day he was 11, caught in the wild by Kenneth's father before Kenneth set out on his own journey. Since then, Nitro has been with him every step of the way, both in victory and defeat. Still, both Nitro and Kenneth agree that tragedy plus time equals comedy. Very often both of them see past mistakes and goof-ups as very comical material.

Name: Patriot
Species: Braviary
Gender: Male
Personality: Patriot is more on the serious side, and doesn't take things too lightly most of the time. He doesn't mind battling alongside Nitro, though he feels the little electric squirrel is sometimes out of his mind and often leaps before he looks. He likes having speed and finesse, both qualities that Patriot and Nitro excel at, but he isn't found of Nitro's extreme hastiness, even if Patriot feels he is a good fighter.
History: Patriot was caught relatively late in Kenneth's adventure, and was really only one of the few Pokémon that Kenneth actually kept for the long term, as he didn't find too many Pokémon that really appreciated his style the way Nitro did. In truth, Patriot enjoys working with Kenneth, feeling his drive and eagerness to get going is a good sign of wanting to get out there and get strong.

Name: Razorback
Species: Dragonite
Gender: Male
Personality: As a kind of class clown, Razorback never, ever thinks much of his enemies. He often treats overconfidence as something to tease and taunt, which turns arrogance into anger. He doesn't take battles very seriously either, while other Pokémon get so tied up in competitiveness that they almost go crazy. Instead, Razorback plays cat and mouse with enemies for quite a while, adding to the aggravation and frustration. Often, Razorback just finishes the battle after things have gotten stale and boring. He gets along with Kenneth mostly, although he feels Kenneth can be a little pushy at times.
History: As Kenneth caught Razorback as a Dratini, Razorback barely ever listened to Kenneth in the first place, but he did see Kenneth as an interesting trainer and wasn't quite what he was expecting from humans. It took a while before he was willing to give Kenneth's commands an actual listening to, and very often Razorback just wanted to do things his own way. Eventually, the two became more compatible, although Kenneth did eventually give in to Razorback and allowed him to do things his own way. More often than not during battles, Razorback landed flat on his face as Kenneth laughed, pointed, and cheered "told ya so!" Now, he tends to listen more to Kenneth's wisdom, but not all the time.

Dreamworld

Title: The Heavenly Ascension of Serashan

Description: This Dreamworld takes place up in the skies, where the clouds can be walked upon and are firm enough to hold buildings, even large skyscrapers. While the clouds here are soft and fluffy, they never dissipate like real clouds do. Meanwhile, the cities that rest upon these clouds appear to be modern day, but the main difference is that the buildings have entrances and landing ledges on every level, simply because every living creature in this world has wings to fly.

The cities in this Dreamworld also appear to be modern day, as if Saffron or Castelia City were lifted up upon these white clouds. A few of the major differences is that there are no cars, as while there are roads for foot traffic, cars wouldn't be able to get very far considering this Dreamworld feels like a series of cloud "islands" hovering far up in the sky, and so very often, those that enter this Dreamworld have to fly from island to island, which makes up one large and massive, heavenly city, which is known as Serashan.

There is a good side and a dark side to this city, both of which resemble the good and bad sides of Kenneth's dreams. On the good side, Upper Serashan, the city can be almost mistaken for God's Heaven, as the sky is lit up with a gorgeous sunrise in the morning, becomes crisp during midday, has a fantastic sunset, and then lights up as the stars and moon come out during the evening. The weather is comfortable, the breezes are mesmerizing, and the city is always festive with celebrations, parties, and entertainment. The streets are clean, there is no dirt or crime, and everyone seems to always been in good spirits, racing through the skies. Here, flying and dragon type Pokémon find this side of Serashan to be a paradise beyond belief. Meanwhile, the humans here have taken on either an angelic or draconic appearance, either having wings made of feathers, or have leathery dragon wings. Other options include colorful butterfly wings, or dragonfly-like fairy wings.

Lower Serashan is where the real problems start, however. On a separate cloud of its own, Lower Serashan resembles the things Kenneth Donavan hates. Stifling government authority, oppression, senseless violence, and filth. The city in Lower Serashan turns into a slum and into run-down housing projects, neglected office buildings, filthy factories and industrial plants, and immediately, the weather becomes that of a filthy winter, with gray snow and a chilling wind. The city in Lower Serashan also stinks like raw sewage. Here, rock and ice type Pokémon gather with their "cheated" wings, ones that only have a bony, skeletal frame but yet somehow magically allow these Pokémon to fly.

Here is also where the Regulators live, seeking to try and expand Lower Serashan into Upper Serashan. The Regulators resemble a corrupt form of government, which calls itself Urban Anguish, a dictatorship that seeks to incite corruption by allowing slavery, oppression, and twisted laws. These Regulators come in several forms, but for the most part, they appear to be soldiers in black combat armor, always wearing some kind of visor or gas mask which makes it impossible to see their faces (which they don't actually have). Their wings can range from having the appearance of sickly, dripping black feather wings, reminiscent of a fallen angel's wings, or like the ice and rock type Pokémon, have only skeletal frames that still allow them to fly. Meanwhile, they are equipped with black, metallic modern-day firearms that fire black bullets. For melee combat, they use poisoned combat knives and burning cutlasses and greatswords. Also, the Regulators fly wicked black gunships called Skullcrushers, which look like Hind-D helicopters, only without the rotors. The ultimate goal of the Regulators is to take over Upper Serashan, destroy pleasure and all forms of entertainment, and instead impose obedience, stifling regulation, and submission through torture, oppression, and humiliation.

In the war against the Regulators of Urban Anguish, the citizens and warriors of Upper Serashan, collectively known as Freedom's Wings, make a stand against Lower Serashan.

Broken Rules of Realty: In Serashan, everyone, whether they like it or not, has wings. Deal with it. Besides that, the transition from Upper Serashan to Lower Serashan is very abrupt. The air is also lighter and gravity isn't as strong, allowing people to run up and along walls, jump high and immediately take flight, and achieve flying speeds up to 200 mph.

What your character likes (Allies of the Dreamrunners): In terms of Pokémon allies, flying Pokémon and dragon Pokémon are the main, beloved allies of the Dreamrunners and the Freedom's Wings faction that the Dreamrunners will fight for. Flying and Dragon type moves are also much heighted in power, and are much more effective in Serashan.

The humans in Serashan all have wings also. Those with a more angelic appearance have feather wings that can be any color or series of colors, whether they're pure white like an angel, or come in a variety of colors like a parrot or a conure. Some of these winged people also have tail feathers, but only if they so choose. Other humans could also have dragon wings, with the option of accompany these wings with a draconic tail, claws, talons, and horns. Alternative options for wings include colorful butterfly wings or dragonfly-like fairy wings.

The members of Freedom's Wings use modern firearms, which are enchanted with the power of light, and fire beams of light instead of bullets. As an alternative, there are bows and crossbows that fire arrows of light. For melee combat, members of Freedom's Wings use holy katanas and other oriental swords blessed with the power of light. In response to Urban Anguish's Skullcrusher gunships, Freedom's Wings uses attack jets similar in style to Harriers, which also come equipped with holy armaments and light-based missiles.

What your character hates (Enemies of the Dreamrunners): In terms of enemy Pokémon, the rock and ice types that populate and infest Lower Serashan are the core enemies, using cheated wings to fly through the air. They also have no trainers, no mind for love, and simply live to kill for sport and for sadistic pleasure.

The Regulators of Urban Anguish come in several ranks and classes:

The Drudge Drones - As weak infantry, these lowlife Regulators dress in black cloth attire, almost like the cloak of the Grimm Reaper. Their faces are covered with metallic plate visors, allowing only their twisted, red, bloodshot eyes to be seen, and just a hint of their burnt, grotesque faces. They usually come armed with submachine guns, and fly using skeletal wings.

Dark Lieutenants - These elite officers are fully dressed in black full combat armor, and wear gas masks that allow their eyes to glow with an intimating red flare. These dark soldiers are armed with assault rifles, and fly using black feather wings that drip with black blood.

Emissaries of Hate (Captains) - Emissaries are hulking juggernauts that typically stand eight feet tall and looked horribly twisted and inhuman. Their bodies are covered with dark, metallic armor consisting of plates and leather coverings, but they also carry heavy machine guns and fly using black wings that are covered with flames and fire.

The Black Dictator Kirosana - Kirosana is the tyrant leader of the Regulators and Urban Anguish, and is also the Nightmare Nemesis. He stands over fifty feet tall, an oversized mutant of a man clothed in dark, leather that drips black and smells like death and decay. All of this dark matter resembles pain, misery, and torture in a physical form. His face, however, is like the others, covered with a black, hideous improvised mask that leaves only his twisted and deranged eyes and his mouth full of shark-like teeth exposed. Somehow, the Regulators understand his vicious, hideous growls, but no one else does. For weapons, he carries a massive minigun custom-made for his size, along with a massive greatsword easily capable of slicing apart whatever comes in contact with its abysmally sharp blade. Meanwhile, he has wings of blacked steel, sharp and knives and capable of dashing apart anything or anyone that is unfortunate enough to touch them.

Pokedex Researcher
Name: Yvette Everhart
Age: 36
Gender: female

Physical Description: Yvette is a little shorter than average. She has a nice body shape, but not being obsessive about looks, isn’t slim nor fat. She has dark red hair which is usually in a braid that reaches down to her waist. Being near-sighted, she wears dark wire-rimmed glasses that compliment her oval face shape and contrast with her hazel eyes. Her ears are pierced and she usually has colorful Pokémon shaped earrings (and they change what kind of Pokémon is in a dreamworld, to what the dreamer would like).

Given her profession, she does strive to keep a good appearance. She wears makeup lightly, keeps well-fitting good clothes, and never looks sloppy out in public, even off the job. She takes good care of her nails, often wearing colored polish (she likes red or violet). Although she will wear skirts (never short ones), she doesn’t wear heels as they’re usually not good for walking around in.

Personality: Yvette is as mixture of seemingly opposites. She is down-to-earth yet never flinches at or downplays the weird and whimsical. She has a no-nonsense and straightforward attitude, even when speaking of seemingly nonsensical dreams. Due to experience, she adapts to various dreams worlds easily and doesn’t panic easily. She is quite cool-headed and uses that to try calming others down.

Her external expression is often one of calmness, stoicism, and dignity, which can lead to some to think she is unemotional, perhaps even vain. She’s neither. She keeps her emotions quiet because she knows that exploding into a temper or not thinking something through will lead to trouble. When she end up distressed over something, she’ll attempt to work out a break of a few minutes to sort things through mentally. She believes in having respect for yourself and others. She also believes in good manners and may quietly reprimand a younger person who is being rude.

She is creative, although not always in obvious ways. For instance, she likes to take on problems with reason, not violence; she can even apply this in dream worlds which require understanding a person’s mind and emotions in order to follow twists and flaws in logic. She’s the kind of Dreamrunner who will find a person’s self in their dream and talk them through solving the nightmare themselves, only intervening personally if the person is clearly unable to handle things. and she likes flower arranging as a hobby, liking flowers in general.

Being a psychologist, she is good at listening and figuring people out based on nonverbal language. She has a strong empathy for people; of course, visiting other people’s dreams and seeing how their minds works personally will let one temporarily see the world as they see it, albeit in symbols. But she’s not afraid to get stern with others, particularly if they’re wallowing in self-pity and not trying to get help. Or being relentless attention-seekers. Her patience is also tested by overly rude people. She despises those that would take advantage of others through love and slightly fears being taken advantage of that way again (although that doesn’t stop her from befriending others; it just makes her a bit cautious in admitting love). What she truly fears is losing those she loves or seeing them hurt to where she can’t do anything to help. Just like what’s happened to her son.

If she has time to herself, she likes to spend it in quiet contemplation. She likes Pokémon that are a little strange but practical in their own manner, or those that are connected to dreams. She has a fear of drowning, but usually has good enough control that she can travel in dream waters. As a result of that fear, she actually likes Water Pokémon because they can save drowning people.

History: Yvette grew up as the older of two children. Their mother was a businesswoman who ran her life as she did her business: on schedule, on a budget, and with diligence. Unfortunately, that meant she was gone a lot, more married to her job than her husband. He was a psychic who, even in the happiest times, always seemed to be in a state of melancholy. This was because he can always tell how likely someone was to die in a particular situation. It wasn’t a bad life. Sure, it was weird when your father could tell you precisely how you might have died doing something stupid, but he loved them and was always there for his kids (and due to the sheer amount of things that could kill you, he tended to ignore anything under fifty percent).

She spent a lot of her time playing with the neighborhood kids, or exploring nearby marshes. The marshlands was where Yvette became accustomed to Poison and Bug types, as they were common there and quite playful so long as one wasn’t threatening their nests. In her neighborhood itself, one of the local kids’ favorite activities was trying to guess what was in that one derelict house with the overgrown lawn. While the neighborhood often complained about it to the owner, he never did much about it and yelled at anyone who got near. This made it a great mystery to the kids. Unfortunately, it was never discovered what was in there as the owner was eventually evicted and the house torn down.

At the age of nine, Yvette’s younger brother Todd had a series of nightmares that he said wouldn’t stop. Their father worried it might be some psychic abilities manifesting badly and the family talked about how they could fix things. Yvette went to bed that night still thinking up all sorts of ways to fix the nightmares, getting rather more ridiculous as she started to fall asleep. One way or another, she wound up in Todd’s nightmare and her wild half-asleep theories ended up helping to defeat the Reaper-like nightmare monster that was bothering him. In the morning, their father said at breakfast that Todd wouldn’t have nightmares anymore, although he would now see death percentages everywhere just like him.

He later told Yvette that she had powers too, as a Dreamrunner. Knowing from experience that such things weren’t well accepted by others, he taught the both of them to find ways to use their power in a socially accepted manner. For instance he (and eventually Todd) worked as a house inspector, able to spot problems where death percentages were abnormally high. Yvette decided to go to college to study psychology, particularly dream interpretation. Perhaps she would be seen as a crackpot, but she would be a crackpot with a degree.

In college, she could use the excuse of her studies to get people to tell her what their dreams were like. If any of them were suffering repeated nightmares, she would focus on them to enter their dreams, then eradicate the source. It worked out quite well and they often attributed just her talking to them as a sufficient excuse as to why they could beat their nightmare. In the process, she met with a guy named Mike Smith who she fell in love with and married in her senior year.

That turned out to be something of a mistake, as he had only dated her in order to get another woman jealous. The two of them had a strong love-hate relationship, as she dated someone else, ‘making’ the guy step up the game and marry Yvette. Eventually, Mike and the other woman ran off together to continue their belligerent affair, leaving her with a one-year-old son and major house payments. Yvette filed for divorce, managing to work things out so that the house was on his credit record. It was rough patch of time, but her father and brothers helped support her emotionally.

In the years since, she has been working as a dream therapist and raising her son Colin. She’s been in a lot of dreams and seen many strange things as a result. The worst by far had to be the dream of a young woman who turned out to have been captured by the man who claimed to be her husband. It caused quite a shocking trial when she gave information to the police on the case. Although it turned out to help the girl far more than just with nightmares, that case left a strong impression on Yvette’s own mind.

Other: Colin is currently fourteen, and in one of Dreadrai’s comas.

Pokémon I'm only taking one...

Name: Selene
Species: Musharna
Gender: Female

Personality: Selene is quiet, but inquisitive. She may be a large pink floating Pokémon, but people can and will miss her moving around in the background. When seeing something new, she likes to go up to it and check it out herself. Selene is quite affectionate to Yvette and others the Pokémon likes, and goes along with orders good-naturedly. She’s not aggressive at all and will be slow to join a fight. Even if she and others would be in danger, she’d try illusions over getting into a direct fight first. In that way, she’s lazy unless curiosity drives her to investigate. She has a weakness for sour foods, surprisingly, like lemons, limes, and sour apples.

History: Since Yvette was interested in dream studies, it only made sense for her to seek out a Munna while she was in college. It took quite some time tracking down a breeder, but once she made contact, it wasn’t too hard to pick up one that didn’t need to be great in battles. Selene and Yvette got along easily since their personalities didn’t clash, although the Munna got into a number of scrapes because she’d been too curious for her own good. She evolved into a Musharna a few months into Yvette’s internship work, after a person they helped gave a Moon Stone to them in gratitude. While Yvette has taken in other Pokémon and given them away, Selene’s been the one who always sticks around.

Dream World

Title
: Marsh of Memory

Description: When you first enter this dreamworld, you always start in the same place: right in front of Yvette’s childhood home. It is a suburban cul-de-sac with six houses and a little grassy ‘island’ in the center (the island has grass, dandelions, and clovers to it, as well as a wooden stand with a large open book on it). The houses are near-identical cookie-cutters of each other, from their tidy lawns to their sandy-brown paint to their structure of being two-story, one-car garage, and a basement. They even have nearly the same furniture inside, only a few pieces making individuality. However, there is one exception, the house on the edge. While all the houses in the loop are neat, the short road that leads to the main roads has an empty lot on one side and that house on the other. That house has a weedy overgrown lawn, peeling lime green paint, and is completely dark inside. There’s usually a nightmare creature or two there, but they’re rather weak once exposed to the light.

Once you get past the cul-de-sac, things change completely. The asphalt road breaks down into gravel, then turns into a dirt path into a marsh. This marsh surrounds the cul-de-sac and is the primary landscape. Much of it is beautiful, with large shimmering areas of shallow water, tall lush grasses with cattails and strange flowers, and the occasional large oak or willow tree emerging from the water. Pokémon can be heard more often than seen.

It may be a marsh, but sometimes buildings appear. The transition between buildings and marsh blend together, with muddy ground turning seamlessly to concrete. When in areas like this, any people or Pokémon appearing will be those that should logically be there, even if it’s simply a generic person like a waitress in a restaurant. Most of the buildings are places she’s familiar with in waking life: her current home, her office, the library, certain stores.

Nightmare sections of the marsh are noticeably uglier than others. The waters turn oily, sometimes with tar bubbling up. It smells like rotting vegetation and the plants are either dead or look like they belong in a horror film (like leafless black trees with claw-like branches). If there are buildings there, they’ll usually be run-down and in a state of chaos.

On occasion, you will run into something that seems out of place for the dreamworld. Yvette freely admits that these are things she’s seen in other dreamworlds that she was fascinated enough by that they left impressions on her mind. There are three such places. One is a glass gazebo adorned with jewels and paved with gold bricks, where a dancing Gardevoir resides. Two is a rose garden with a little girl in fancy dress who always seems to be having a tea party with her friendly living dolls. Three is a terrifying small house where the floor is made of sandpaper, the walls are lined with broken glass and sharp nails, and all the furniture is in bad shape. The TV in location three always plays static with someone speaking and crying in fear just behind the hiss, and the bed has chains.

Broken Rules of Realty: Space and time are hard to judge here. The sky changes from bright afternoon blue to starry midnight black to orange dusk to gray rainfall abruptly, although some places have a constant weather-time appearance (like the cul-de-sac is always a sunny cloudless summer afternoon). When walking out in the marsh, one may see nothing but marsh from horizon to horizon, but then suddenly come upon a building or dry spot of land. Speaking of the marsh, anyone can walk across the surface of the water, bog, or mud without getting wet. In fact, you can’t go in the water at all.

Two areas in the Marsh of Memory have particular rules for them. The house with the overgrown lawn is extremely dark and a light source can only show what’s three feet around it. And the terrifying small house is really hard to leave once you enter; the doorways tend to move people who walk through them at random between the TV room, the bedroom, the bathroom, and the kitchen. The only way to leave is to find the house key and use it on the front door in the TV room; the key disappears after you leave.

Allies of the Dreamrunners: Poison, Ghost, Psychic, Bug, and Water types are the main Pokémon allies. Yvette likes Poison and Bug types because they’re common to the marshlands that she loves, the Ghost and Psychic because they help her with her work, and the Water type because they keep people from drowning. She also prefers those that are clever or creative, so a Smeargle or something might appear. Whatever they are, most of the Pokémon are not aggressive. Battling is so uncommon here that most of them only have utility or defensive moves; anything else is used in non-aggressive manners, such as using Bubblebeam to create rainbows.

This is all because Yvette is not fond of Pokémon battling, only keeping up with it to keep hers strong enough to fight Dreamworld creatures. And even then, Selene has mostly been trained in dreams. In keeping with this, no obvious weapons are allowed in the Marsh of Memory, so no swords, guns, bows, clubs, or anything like that. If it’s something natural to a Pokémon, like a Gallade’s blade arms, then that’s okay (but only on the Gallade). Bare fists is an option. However, nearly anything else can be thought up and brought in, like umbrellas, paper fans, and so on, and those could be used as unconventional weapons.

Enemies of the Dreamrunners: While Yvette dislikes battling, she doesn’t outright hate it. What she hates and fears is emotional and psychological manipulations. Most nightmare creatures in the Marsh will prefer to play off fears and torment Dreamrunners rather than attacking directly. Due to this manipulation, she is uncomfortable around Dark types. She also strongly dislikes Fighting types for using their power to intimidate; in fact, any Pokémon with Intimidate can show up as a foe. Foes will also use Fake Tears, Nasty Plot, Attract, Flatter, and other such moves.

The Nightmare creatures also will attack from anywhere, usually in a sneaky manner. There are some places they have corrupted and turned into polluted nasty spots, but they can show up even when no corruption is seen. As they prefer mind games, they will do their best to make victims panic or become enraged before they engage in battle. The worst ones will try to lure or seduce an individual away from the group and then attack. Traveling alone here is definitely the wrong move. Although they can appear anywhere, nightmare creatures are guaranteed to show up at the overgrown house and the terrifying house.

The Nemesis in charge of all of this is Amalgam, a sort of collection of Nightmares she’s fought in other people’s minds over her long career. The stronger ones are from especially bad nightmares, even ones which she couldn’t help the victim. While Amalgam has access to a whole range of attacks and techniques gleaned from other nightmares, it takes the form of the first one Yvette fought, the Reaper from her brother’s dream. It is a black mass that is vaguely human as defined by a large tattered black cloak it wears. Its face, if it has one, is obscured by the shadows of an oversized hood. It has long black gloves and tall black boots, although Amalgam can hover around; it uses the boots more to scare people with their heavy footfalls just out of sight. It also carries a scythe, the only ‘weapon’ in the Marsh of Memory, and tends to speak in terms of how anything can kill you (although since Yvette is not a death seer, it is inaccurate).

However, Amalgam is more dangerous when you can’t see it. As long as you can hear it, it can strike you with lightning, fire, ice, and other spell-like attacks. But like the other nightmares here, the Nemesis is more likely to manipulate victims into fear, confusion (especially about love), or rage than to attack outright. The solution to defeating Amalgam is written in the large book in the cul-de-sac area. However, Amalgam tore out thirteen pages of the book and thus the answer cannot be read. The pages are scattered throughout the Marsh. And they won’t be easy to get. Even if the page is in possession of a friendly character like the tea party girl, that character will probably want something done in exchange for the page.

Yep, but keep in mind you only have 48 hours. But if you show you're making progress with your sign up, and post it (despite it being incomplete), you'll hold onto your reserve longer.

Alright, finished. Tell me if you want anything changed, alright?

For your character's Dream World:

Title: The Museum of Truth
Description: The museum of truth takes the form of a giant city castle surrounded by a high retaining wall. The museum city a good 200 square miles and has a perfect square shape. The entrance gate to the museum city is located on the south side of the retaining wall. Flanking each side of the gate is a battlement. There is also a battlement on each corner and each cardinal direction of the retaining wall. The architecture of the city is a mix of medieval European, ancient Greek, ancient Egyptian, ancient Chinese, ancient Japanese and a splash of modern architecture.

The city itself is setup into 6 different districts. In the middle of the city, with an area of about a mile in diameter, lies the city’s park and recreation district. It is within this district that most of the city’s topiaries are found as well as a beautiful garden. It is here that most of the world’s more natural pokemon congregate. Standing in the middle of the park district is a towering white spire. This spire is where the head museum curator and head librarian live. All the cities pokiores are located within the white spire. This will also be where the dreamrunners will first appear when coming into Daniel’s dreamworld. The next district is the housing district which encircles the park area. This district is about 1.5 miles in diameter. It is here that most of the museums employees reside as well as any summoned characters that prefer to stay outside their respective source. The houses are a mismatch of different dwellings from varying cultures. The house’s style reflects the resident within. Surrounding the housing district is a smaller retaining wall with accompanying battlements. The next four districts are located in the four cardinal directions. It is in these districts that all of the museums artifacts, paintings and literature are located.

The Southern district is home to most of the museum’s statues. The statues are usually grouped based on location and era of creation. It is within this district that you would find many ground and steel type pokemon roaming around. This district has an open air format with only a few roofed pavilions scattered around. The pavilions are used by sculptures to create new statues.

The Eastern district is the museum’s painting and artifact storage district. Again every item is grouped based on location and era of creation. It is here that you can find many ancient pokemon as well as a whole troop of Smeargles. All the paintings and artifacts are stored within a huge Smithsonian-esque building. The building has two wings to it, the painting wing and the artifact wing. Situated around the building are blank canvases for which new paintings can be made. And within the artifact wing is a large research lab that is responsible for the restoration of damaged artifacts and paintings as well as the resurrection of fossil pokemon.

The Northern district houses the city’s vast library. The Library is literally the district. In this library you can find almost every book, scroll, stone tablet or any other written form for recording history. The library’s wings are organized by era, culture and manner of recording. These wings are then further organized by type of work and by author. Many psychic pokemon tend to prowl the numerous halls of the library.

The Western district is the museum’s more eclectic district. There are many different intellectual and physical pursuits being practiced in this district. These include the study of martial arts, astronomy, anatomy, and astrology among other interests as well. The western district is also home to the museum’s food supply. There are enough farms and ranches to sustain the city for the rest of its existence. Each discipline has its own building that best fits its role.

Outside the walls on all sides is a large dense forest. It is within this forest that the enemy’s forces reside. Within the forest towering above anything else stand four black spiked spires. The four towers are the source of the never-ending night that plagues this dream world. Whenever a spire is toppled, light will slowly return to the world. Within three of these towers lies three powerful objects that can help in the fight against Arachnos, but these objects are guarded by three of his most powerful generals. Within the four spire, Arachnos’ sits on his black throne commanding his vast army. No one knows which spire contains what, as the spires switch places at random times.

Broken Rules of Realty: In this world, literature and art literally come alive. Every book and painting in the museum acts as a portal to the world depicted therein. Tamed pokemon are kept in specialized books called pokiores. From these books, you can summon up your pokemon or just summon their attacks. From other books and paintings you can summon the characters, creatures, and items described in text. Statues can also come alive if the right words are spoken (words are hidden across the museum).

What your character likes (Allies of the Dreamrunners): The types of pokemon that you are more than likely be allied with in Daniel’s dream worlds would be steel, psychic, electric, ground and normal pokemon. You would also find pokemon that relate to the ancient world such as all of the fossil pokemon. You also wouldn’t be surprised to see a few Escavaliers, Mienshaos and Mienfoos, and the odd grass pokemon among your pokemon allies.
Other allies can include anyone or anything from the numerous books and paintings held within the museum. And even if you can’t find who or what you wanted to summon forth, you can always take a pen and paper and create your own allies. Also once the words to awaken the statues are found, you can use them as allies.

What your character hates (Enemies of the Dreamrunners): Within the enemies pokemon army you will see a lot of fire, water, bug, dark, poison, ice and flying types. The human components of the enemy army consists of crazy religious zealots wanting to rid the world of anything that is not a part of their specific religion, stupid hillbilly rednecks that don’t understand anything but the simplest of concepts, and fanatical military officers that believe in the concept of might is power and that art and literature is not needed in the world. One power both components of the enemy army have is that they are able to drain all knowledge and memories from their victims leaving them a mindless husk under the control of the Nightmare Nemesis of this world.

The Nightmare Nemesis of this dream world is named Arachnos. Like the name suggests, the nemesis takes the form of a spider-like monster. Instead of a regular spider body, Arachnos’ body is essentially a giant brain with eight long spider legs coming out the sides. Arachnos’ body has the same coloration and markings as the female black widow spider. In place of a regular spider head, there is the upper body of a pale white male. Arachnos’ black fingernails are long and pointed and as sharp as steel. On his chest is the same red hourglass marking that is on his body’s abdomen. Arachnos’ head is bald and earless. His mouth is a thin black horizontal line filled with sharp shark like teeth. Arachnos has eight pitch black eyes; two large human-like eyes and six smaller eyes, with three eyes positioned at a diagonal behind the two main eyes.

Is away for 3 days
Name: Jonathan "John" Dahmen

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Physical Description: John is a big in general person. He is surprisingly short, but makes up for that because of his shoulder width. Despite his size, he is weaker then most people would think. John isn't a fast runner, and for that matter can't run very far either. John usually wears blue jeans, a white t-shirt and those jackets bug catchers wear. He also wears a brown leather belt with a slot with a miniature sledge hammer for protection.

John has jet black hair and brown eyes. He often wears black boots and has a pokenav clipped to his shirt. His face is often emotion less in till he is angered or he becomes happy. He'll often give you blank stares as if he thinks your fascinating, but will not say anything to you.

Personality: His face is often emotion less in till he is angered or he becomes happy. He'll often give you blank stares as if he thinks your fascinating, but will not say anything to you. At something that would cause someone else to giggle will only cause John to raise his eye brow and faintly smile and something that would cause most people to burst into laughter will make John chuckle and say "amusing". Some things that will make him "laugh" would be good jokes and people getting hurt in strange ways.

Not to many things scare him, but he's terrified of wandering around on quicksand at Night. The thought of making a wrong move and being sucked down is scary to him, and it's even scarier at night. Another thing he is scared of is pokemon that look like a mad scientist made them and they make moaning, screeching, and growling sounds. The only other thing he is scared of is un-secure ground, which basically means that if you jump somewhere that would normally be safe to step on, like a thick tree branch, it crumbles underneath you. He's not the sort of person who would joke.

History: John was born in Littleroot town (I hope I got that right) in Hoenn. His life was very uneventful until he left home to challenge the Hoenn League when he was 10. It was while he was going through the Hoenn region that he discovered that he could enter dreams. This happened when he stayed the night at the Patelburge Pokemon Centre. The nurse joy had fallen asleep and was having a nightmare. She had started trashing around in he sleep and he was able to enter her dreams. After he got all 8 Hoenn badges, he changed the elite 4 and lost, so instead of moving back home, he decided to challenge the Sinnoh league.

John got his first Sinnoh league badge when he was 13. After getting to Eterna City, and getting his second badge, he stayed for a year to help remodel the gym, and he had become addicted to the underground, and would spend days, even weeks in there at a time. By the time he had his 5th badge, he was 17. He met the small group of dreamrunners while trying to get his 6th badge at Canalave City. After failing to get his 6th Sinnoh badge he joined the dreamrunners after announcing that he would travel around the world at will.

Other: John currently holds all 8 Hoenn league badges and 5 Sinnoh league badges. (Which reminds me, who is the Hoenn League Campion?)

For each Pokémon (You get three):
----------------------------------------------
Name: Trek

Species: Grovyle

Gender: Male

Personality: A bit like the Grovyle from PMD 2, he is quiet , but will speak out of place.

History: Trek is John's Hoenn starter. He won John his first and second badge.

----------------------------------------------
Name: Senior Bubbles

Species: Empoleon

Gender: Female

Personality: The bossiest pokemon you'll ever meet. She thinks highly of herself but does think that not all other pokemon are low lives, especially John's other pokemon.

History: John's Sinnoh starter, Bubbles won him 3 of the 5 Sinnoh badges he currenly has.
----------------------------------------------
Name: Zappings

Species: Plusle

Gender: Female

Personality: A trickster. She'll often give you small zaps just because she can

History: This is the first and last pokemon John caught. He caught it in Hoenn, and it is the reason he has 5 of the three Hoenn badges.
------------------------------------------------
For your character's Dream World:

Title: The Swamplands of Darkness

Description: A swamp. It is filled with trees and water, undrinkable water. Various trees have fallen down and, combined with moss, create pathways that run through the swamplands. The swampland its self is filled with trees, moss, and the unbreakable feeling that your being watched.

Broken Rules of Realty: Things that would normally be solid can crumble underneath you. Also, trees can move.

What your character likes (Allies of the Dreamrunners): Grass, electric, and water types, and some trees.

What your character hates (Enemies of the Dreamrunners): <Like with the things your character likes, list all the things that your character hates or fears, and again, don't be afraid to explain why. Again, it helps if they are specific and follow a theme that follows the character's personality. Also, explain who or what the Nightmare Nemesis is, and describe it in vivid detail.>
