    Unobvious Pokémon Facts!

Let's see how many facts we can come up with?

Let's try to keep none repeated.

Here goes: The Johto starters are the only fully evolved ones not to have any dual type from any region.

Blastoise, Samurott, Sceptile, Serperior would disagree with you on that.

I meant to say in the region, pardon me. As in the whole region had every starter be a single type.

Corsola is the only non-grass type, non-plant based pokemon that can learn the move Ingrain. It is based on a coral which, while it remains cemented, or rooted, to one spot, does not put down nutrient-absorbing roots the way plants do.

Now to think of it, Corsola seems to be a fossilized coral plant?

Bulbasaur is the only dual type first stage starter you can get in any main games.

God this could go on forever.

    -Pikachu is the mascot.
-Totodile is based on a crocodile.
    - Satoshi Tajiri created the franchise.

See what I mean? Facts are just facts. Personally I think you should change the title to something along the lines of 'Interesting Pokemon Trivia'.

Lickitung wasn't able to learn the move Lick in Gen. I.

The only thing is, corals aren't plants at all. They're actually made of tiny animals called polyps that build calcium (or something similar to calcium, I might have the specific element wrong) structures around them. Nothing whatever about plants about them. :)
  9. The Joker.

    The Joker. Gone.

Wobuffet is the only fully evolved pokemon not able to learn any TMs.

Gosh I feel like a noob.

Sunkern has the lowest base stat total of any Pokémon.

I get what you mean now, but I'm not sure how.
  12. The Joker.

    The Joker. Gone.

Girantina is the only pokemon weak to both its own typings.

You mean the only evolution-capable one. Technically, Unown is fully evolved (as evolved as it's going to get,) and it can't learn any TMs or HMs, either.

Magneton is the only Pokémon to gain a type changing generations.
  15. The Joker.

    The Joker. Gone.

Azurill can change genders upon evolution.

PMP, Magnemite gained the Steel type as well.

Do these trivia have to be about the Pokémon, or can they be about the whole franchise?

If so: Fighting, Psychic, Ghost and Ice are the only types used by a Gymleader/Elite 4 member in every generation.
Bug is the only type not used by at least one female Gymleader/Elite 4 member.

If not: Xatu is the only Pokémon whose name begins with the letter X.

Abilitys and natures were released in third gen.

    Pokémon as a whole.

It's also able to learn rollout in 3rd gen.

Coral may not be plants, but they obtain the majority of their energy and nutrients from photosynthetic unicellular algae called zooxanthellae that live within the coral's tissue.

So Corsola learning Ingrain isn't that far fetch.

    Fixed it for you.
