Pokémon Go/Niantic Privacy Policy

Teravolt

cilan lives forever in my heart
I logged into Go last night and received a notice to check out the updated privacy policy (here: https://nianticlabs.com/privacy/en) for Go and Niantic. I decided to look at it.

And was completely lost. Is Niantic selling info about my precise location, device specs, and other personal things to companies and advertisers? Am I reading too much into this? Can anyone make heads or tails of this policy? I sure couldn’t.

If Niantic is selling my info, what can I do about it? I don’t live in California, so I’m unfortunately not covered by its consumer protection laws.
