All they sprites in these games look really good, there are none I can truly single out now I have looked at all the sprites, however, there is one sprite that bugs me, Pikachu, why do they have to portray it as cutesy all the time?
Yet nowadays, it's now a formidable Pokemon, when it has a Light Ball attached.

For god sakes, Nintendo need to rethink Pikachu now, they have almost drived it off a cliff forcing it to take suicide. We need a tough Pikachu sprite, not something that looks like it wants to play with a bunch of Clefairy and Jigglypuff in a field.

Platinum has had the best sprite so far in my opinion for Pikachu.

i dont know why but i just dont like koga as an elite four, but his entrance makes up for it.

^We have always seen Ho-oh's underside, I just don't like how its doing a split. Its crest has also been reduced to about half its size...Platinum's sprite was better, honestly.

Anyway, I agree that Pikachu needs a tough sprite!
I know it's going to be cue and stuff, but a little more toughness, and I think we got it!
And the best Pikachu sprite is in Platinium.

Well, I meant Koga, Bruno, Will and Lance as boys.
While Karen is the girl. So maybe that's why Will got changed from boy to girl.
They have it in every other Elite Four, except Sinnoh that is.

On topic: I think Serebii disliked the Celebi sprite in these games. I have to agree, it looks a little creepy.

Anyway, Celebi is not that bad. It's the second best sprite, next to D/P in my opinion.

The Notched-ear Pichu sprite is cute. The Charizard, Machamp, Alakazam, Steelix, and Crobat sprites are cool.

Urk, goin' back a few pages... but Mawile does, fortuitously, have two sprites in this generation! So that's a total of three, counting RSE. I saw its HGSS sprite and assumed it was new, but then discovered that it was actually introduced in Pt. It's only a subtle difference, but I really prefer it. Doesn't seem to be on Bulbapedia yet, though, or in Serebii's dex. It's a conspiracy, I say...

I've looked at the new sprites for my other favourites, and... I'm really not sure what to make of Miltank. I had such high hopes after seeing that gorgeous Sugimori artwork... It's a cute sprite and all, but I don't think the sitting-down pose suits her. It doesn't seem right for such a quick Pokémon. I suppose I've just grown attached to the idea of the nimble, dancing Miltank of PBR...

Vaporeon is pretty, but it can't compete with the DP sprite. Machamp is pretty nice, though. I think this might be the first time I've actually liked Machamp's sprite.

Pikachu is best having a cute sprite....I mean,its the mascot for the Pokemon for the Pokemon series,and if it looks tough(look at user abgar's picture of a tough Pikachu),I don't think it will look nice.
