Pokémon HGSS Music Discussion/Appreciation Thread

In commemoration of the release of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, I will stopped playing the games and shall made an "Unofficial OST" for the games which was then, an SPPf Exclusive.

Of course, Nintendo/GAME FREAK Inc. released an official soundtrack entitled "Nintendo DS Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver Music Super Complete" for HGSS 28th of October, 2009 having 3 Discs.

As mentioned before, the OST will feature 3 Discs featuring 270 songs from the game, with over 3 hours of playing time. The greatest number so far among the game OSTs.

DISC 1: 87 tracks,
DISC 2: 84 tracks
DISC 3: 99 tracks (Game Boy Player versions)
Total no. of tracks: 270 tracks

In addition to that, there will be a 24-page booklet that offers images associated to the game music as well as "secret info" from the Music Development Team. The team consists of Junichi Masuda, Gou Ichinose, Hitomi Satou, Shouta Kageyama and Takuto Kitta.

As for the songs I've heard so far, I described 'em as having just the right balance of "nostalgia and revampiness". Not too crazy, not too old either. Perfect. :D

I saw someone upload Route 12. Can we get other Kanto stuff soon? Kanto has the best music next to Sinnoh, in my opinion.

:D I love the arrangement and layering of the cave music... in G/S/C, it was just the melody only, now in HG/SS there are added percussion on top of the melody!

And I LOVEEEEEEE the xylophone rolls in the beginning of Ecruteak City's theme music!

Pokédex Complete!
I've listened to the Johto trainer and wild battle, so cool, if a little over the top. Sounds like the composer's on a sugar rush. I'm avoiding spoiling it all at once, though.

I've made a promise to myself that I will not listen to Vs Lance until I reach it by myself. It's my favourite VG music ever and I want to make it worth the wait.
