Plot
Twenty years of peace has been in the Pokémon world ever since the epic defeat of Team Ultima. There was eight young trainers: Ash Ketchum, Ethan Gold, Lyra Silver, Marina Crystal, Brendan Ruby, May Sapphire, Lucas Diamond, and Dawn Pearl. They all started out as ordinary trainer, unaware of the dangers that awaited them. In each of the regions that they lived in there was an evil organization (Kanto Team Rocket, Johto Team Rocket which differs from the Kanto one, Hoenn Team Magma & Aqua, Sinnoh Team Galactic). The eight trainers easily defeated the teams in their regions and instantly became famous. The boys from the group became Pokémon Masters, awaiting new challenges, whilst the girls became Master Co Ordinators, also craving challenges. Twenty five years ago the leaders of the defeated teams decided to meet one dark night in an unknown area. The leaders came up with one plan: Join forces and defeat the kids that beat them and take over the world. Easier said then done, of course. Two years later, the group became known to the world as Team Ultima. The eight legendary trainers met to discuss the sitaution and decided to make their own team known as Team Protectors. Team Protectors and Team Ultima clashed for three long years before Team Ultima was defeated once and for all. Team Protectors went back to their respective regions for a long rest. Twenty years passed of peace and life was going great.

Mr. Burtington, a 65 year old retired senior, was one of the most wealthiest people in the Pokémon World. During the twenty years of peace he came up with an idea. It was to make Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh connected. He had help by many, many, many people and then the four regions were connected. This worked out by using the idea in Goldenrod City of the train station in there, and now the trains can go much faster then before. Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh have multiple train station for you to go to now. Also, boats are another way to get from region to region, but now the boats go even more faster then before! With all of this growth in the world many people may have forgotten how beatiful the lands of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. Johto seemed to be one of the more beatiful regions when it came to landscape and nature. Now, Johto (and the other three regions) seem to have been taken over by the rapid growth of technology. Deep within the newly hi-tec Johto, was a group of people. Atleast fifty, but that group kept on getting bigger and bigger. Who is this group? You’ll just have to find out in the RPG, but know this: this group is not nice and are sort of nature-freaks, so they are very angry about the technology growth. This group enjoyed Johto due to the nature, but now that’s kind of gone, it’s hard to do so. This group of people is filled with completely new people and is in no relation to Team Ultima.

You

After that long reading, I’m guessing you guys want to know where you come in, right? Well, Professor Elm is pretty wary of that group of people meeting in Johto. Officer Jenny, and other authorities say that it’s nothing to worry about. That man can’t help but worry. Thankfully, he’s been expecting a new crop of trainers to come in. Eight to be exact. They’ll be coming from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh to compete in the Pokémon League or Grand Festival. Professor Elm may have something planned for them, but these trainers are just begineers. Like I said, you will be coming from the different regions (including Johto) to compete in the Pokémon League or Grand Festival. If you don’t live in Johto, then you’ll get the Starter Pokémon from the professor in your region. If you live in Kanto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh then you'll immediately retrieve your starter and go staright to Johto by train or boat. The estimated times from each of the regions is three and a half hours no matter where you live because of the enhanced train/boat makes it faster.

Not only will you receive your starter, but you will receive the standard five PokeBalls and a new item known as the PokeItem. This is by far one of the most great inventions in all of Pokemon. Equipped with this item is a PokeDex, phone, radio, map, and a Universal GPS. Each of those are applications in your PokeItem and help greatly along your journey.

Gyms & Pokemon League
With the gyms it's the same eight gyms as the games with one change. Pryce is getting very old and sickly lately, so he has a replacement. This person uses Fire Types and that is Pryce's Grandson, Bryce. He's the complete opposite of Pryce, but wanted to be a Gym Leader like him, so who would be better to take his spot then his grandson? So that's the deal with Gyms, and it's still the same order, just don't forget to give Bryce Fire Types.

Anyway, with the Pokemon League there's going to be a lot of competitors, but you all should get atleast Top 10, so there's a little gap between Memebers places in the League. The first few rounds will be NPC vs. your chracter and then eventually your rival(s) vs. your character, and maybe even your chracter battles another members character!

Contests & Grand Festival
Contests are the same as they always are and some changes in this RPG. Instead of five ribbons, you will only need three. Contests are in some Johto places, but also in places you guys make! One member from the RPG will be winning the Contest, so it isn't a waste. Whoever comes up with an RPG-Made Town must say where it's located and I'll make sure it makes sense. That person can win that contest if they want. You are limited to creating one RPG-Made Town because there's still the ones already made. (may change depending on how everything goes)

The Grand Festival will be held at a town I made up called: Sunshone Town. It's right after Blackthorn City, but before the Pokemon League. It's really the samething as the Pokemon League, except the appeals and time limit. (five minutes) Judges for the contests are the same as the anime: Nurse Joy, Mr. Contesta, Mr. Sukizo. Judges for the Grand Festival, however.... Dawn, May, Lyra, Marina, and Wallace is the MC, but for regular contests you can just say "MC"

Johto Places holding Contests:

Cherrygrove City (and registration to get your contest pass)
Azalea Town
Goldenrod City
Olivine City (Then we go to Cianwood for the 5th Badge)
Mahogany Town
Blackthorn City

I know that's not really alot, but you guys make RPG Towns.

Team Atmosphere

Team Atmosphere is the main villain in this RPG and have multiple appearances in the RPG as they play a major role. NOTE: Our characters won’t know of their name until their second attack in Johto.

New Bark Town: Team Atmosphere strikes at New Bark Town to try to steal the starters and some research equipment. After the Contest is over, Professor Elm calls all of us on our PokeItems and we head on over there. There’s two Team Atmosphere Grunts there, both gaving two Zubats. We beat them easily and they flee saying: “Team Atmosphere will rule the world and turn it back to its old self!” Our characters don’t know what that means, and continue on in the journey.

Violet City (Sprout Tower): After going to Violet City, we decided to tour the place before challenging Falkner and see two Team Atmosphere Grunts and an Admin there. They seemed to be interrogating the Elder, Li on some information, but we stop them. The grunts have one Zubat each and the Admin Annabel has a Sneasel. We manage to barely win as the Sneasel is very strong. (Most of our Pokémon will faint, sorry)

Ecruteak City: Team Atmosphere is still not being good. They invaded the Tin Tower looking for the legendary Ho-oh to destroy the overload of technology with the beast. Morty and Eusine appear and we have to battle three grunts (each with a Zubat) and another Admin (Wayne, with a Buizel and Pikachu). Even with Euisine and Morty’s help, we lose. We all battled the grunts, but helped out Eusine and Morty and lost. Ho-oh is not summoned, so the grunts and Wayne leave.

Olivine City:
This time, there’s a disturbance at the lighthouse and Team Atmosphere is there. Wayne and Annabel appear with Wayne having a Floatzel, Pikachu, and Magmar. Annabel has Sneasel and Kadabra. There’s also a very, very special guest appearance from the boss and founder of Team Atmosphere. He doesn’t battle, but has a conversation with Looker of the International Police. I’ll do the conversation and the battle with my character. Somehow, we manage to beat the two Admins and they get away along with their boss. This is the second to last appearance of Team Atmosphere.

Mt. Silver (Peak)
: The Final Battle against Team Atmosphere. We have to climb Mt. Silver, but we face a bunch of grunts and aren’t surprised when we see Wayne (who has a Floatzel, Raichu, Magmortar, Sandslash, and Scizor) with Annabel (who has a Weavile, Magnezone, Alakazam, Gliscor, and Roserade) Things will be hectic. You all must work as a team. My character is in the battle, too, along with Champion Lance, Gary, and Steven Stone (Why not?). We defeat them and the world is at peace… again. Oh, and this takes place afterthe Pokémon League!

Trainer Name: Matt Azena
Badge Count: 0
Current Location: House; Slateport City, Hoenn - Littleroot Town, Hoenn
Current Team: Treecko (going to get)

Today was the day that thirteen year old Matt Azena would finally get his Starter Pokémon! He was now on Route 102, just before Littleroot Town. There, he would receive his first Pokémon from Professor Birch. He also decided to go to Johto and travel there.

"Ah, Littleroot Town," Matt exclaimed as he inhaled, smelling the Littleroot air. He casually walked through town, admiring the scenery. He then approached a large building. This almost surprised Matt, as the houses in Littleroot Town were very small.

Matt approached the large building and walked to the doors, watching in awe as it opened. I wish my house was like that,Matt thought as he entered through.

To Matt's surprise, the Lab seemed pretty big. Bigger then he thought, of course. Researchers were in front of very odd looking machines, conducting new experiments about Pokémon, of course.

"Ah, you must be Matt, I presume?" a middle aged man, with some streaks of grey hair on the sides of his head, approached Matt.

"Yeah," he replied coolly, shoving his hands in his pockets. "I'm guessing your Professor Birch. Uh, well, you look older then in the TV Broadcasts..."

Birch sighed. "That was fifteen something years ago. Anyway, yes, I'm Professor Birch. Your here for a Treecko, right?" the man asked placing his brief case on the table next to him.

Matt nodded. "And any other stuff you'd like to give, too." Matt said

Ignoring Matt's rudeness, Birch opened up his brief case, revealing three PokéBalls all neatly separated. Birch grabbed the Treecko's PokéBall and handed it to Matt.

The boy, eyes wide open in amazement, carefully held his Starter's PokéBall in his hand. "If you think that's amazing, then look at what we have to give you!" Birch exclaimed bringing over a tray with a new and old item on it.

"First," Birch said, grabbing one of the PokéBalls, "This is a PokéBall, and you can use it to capture other Pokémon." He explained and handed Matt the five PokéBalls, which he put in his bag.

"Next," Birch started, and grabbed the PokéItem. "This... this is one of the most greatest inventions. It's known as a PokéItem, which works as a phone, PokéDex, radio, map, and Universal GPS!" Birch explained, and chuckled, after talking about the item. After all, isn't it almost laughable how much the world has changed?

Matt grabbed the PokeItem and, with the extend able clip, he clipped it on to his pants and quickly left. Besides, he had to go to Johto! He jolted out of the room and saw his dad in the car.

"Hello, son." he greeted him and rolled down the window. "Come on, hop in." He motioned for his son to hop in and they rode all the way to Slateport.

---
The car ride didn't have much action, and Matt was too excited he didn't feel like talking, and he even forget to look at Treecko!

"Ah, here we are," Matt's dad said as he slowly made the car go to a stop. "Okay, see you soon. Hopefully you'll win the Pokemon League!" He said and waved good bye to Matt, who jolted out of the car and got on the boat to New Bark Town, Johto.

Once Matt was in his cabin, he went to the deck and threw Treecko's PokeBall in the air and just walked around with it and relaxed.

(Okay, so your post should be similar to mine, or at least where you receive your starter, five Pokeballs, and the PokeItem. The boat ride is at least two hours, so should be done on your second post. Unless, if your in Johto, it's done in your first post and relax in Elm's Lab. No going past New Nark Town, we all meet in the lab)

Slateport City Harbor, Hoenn
Team: Mudkip

Alex paid the vendor for his ice cream bar and walked off, finding a bench to sit down on and eat in peace. The PokeBall clipped to his waist started to wiggle, and he knew what that meant. He sat the ice cream down and stood on his feet, grabbing the spherical object and tossing it into the air. It opened and a red beam of energy emerged, shooting down to the ground and taking the form of a quadrupedal creature. A fin at the top of its head vibrated in place as it shook its entire body, releasing the stress from being cramped up for awhile. The orange spikes that sat where his cheeks were dug into Alex's skin as he picked him up.

"Hey there, Mudkip," he murmured as he sat back down, letting Mudkip lay next to him. He continued to eat his ice cream while his Pokemon lay there, resting for the big trip ahead of them. He had ordered tickets to the Johto region a few weeks ago and the boat was to depart in about an hour. For now, he was just killing time, as there wasn't much to do in the city. Mudkip had been eager all morning, so, to keep him from tiring himself out, Alex had chosen to leave him in his PokeBall for awhile. It was best that way, in case he needed Mudkip to help him out with something, he could be at full strength.

Besides, he wanted to be fully rested so that they could claim their first contest victory as soon as they got to Johto. They weren't going to let up one bit for any of those rookies. Alex smirked as he finished the ice cream, getting up to toss the wrapping away in a nearby trash can. Checking his watch, he figured he'd start heading to the dock now. The boat was leaving in about twenty minutes. He shook Mudkip awake and it jumped down, following behind Alex as he made his way to the harbor. "I'm here for the ferry headed to Johto," Alex told the gatekeeper. Flashing his ticket, the man took it and ripped a portion of it off, then returned it to him.

"Head to Port 3, just to your left," the man directed him and called for the next person in line. Alex and Mudkip walked along, scoping out any other trainers that might be taking the same boat he was. He was eager to challenge someone, but he knew that wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. He wanted to keep his strengths a secret. He had to be able to surprise everyone when it came time to win a ribbon. He chuckled, a grim expression on his face. It's not like anyone would be much of a challenge to him, anyway. Shrugging, he boarded the ship and checked his watch; ten minutes until the depart. His journey was soon to begin, and he couldn't be more excited.

Finding his cabin, he unlocked it and walked in, setting his bag down in the nearest closet. Mudkip hopped onto the bed, curious about his new surroundings. Alex noticed a laptop in the far corner of the room and he ran to it, pulling up the internet. He logged into the website where he had reserved his ticket and pulled up all the trainers that would be boarding this ship. No one in particular interested him as he scrolled through the archives, so he gave up and decided to watch a bit of tv. There wasn't anything on that really interested him here, either, so he decided to head up to the upper deck, where he could scope out some of the people and their Pokemon. Mudkip followed him out the room as they made their way upstairs.

Trainer Name: Alec. Redwood.

Current Location: House; Slateport City, Hoenn - Littleroot Town, Hoenn
Current Team: Piplup (Recieved in Post)

The smell of the sea whipped in Alec's nostrils and stung his eyes. Sandgem was a very nice place. A small, quaint town. He should come back here some time.

He arrived in front of a large chromed building. Next to it was a sign.

"Sandgem Pokemon reasearch lab."

At least he was in the right place. He went in. The place was empty. Only machinery and strange test tubes were in the strange lab.

"Heloooo?" Alec called out, he saw a middle-aged woman with an uncountable number of stress marks pop out of a cupboard.

"Hello. Can i help?" Roseanne was to busy to help, this better be quick...

"I'm looking for Professor Rowan. I'm here for my Pokemon." Alec was a bit shy and exited about taking his first pokemon.

"Oh. Erm, i'm sorry, but professor Rowan passed away three years ago. I'm Roseanne, the new authority on Pokemon in Sinnoh." She walked up to three Carboard boxes. "In these boxes are your three choice starters. Chimchar, the Fire Monkey, Turtwig, the Grass Turtle, or Piplup, the Water Penguin." Roseanne took a pokeball out of each box and clicked their buttons, releasing the Pokemon.

Alec was amazed looking at the Pokemon. He then thought about how Penguins are birds that live around ice. "It might evolve into Articuno!", he thought to himself. His eyes glittered.

"I'll take Piplup." He said without a second's thought. Roseanne handed him the Pokeball. He withdrew the Penguin and rushed out the building.

"Hey, fella, who d'ya pick?." Roark looked at his adopted son, he loved Alec, though he needs to exercise, hopefully travelling will do it.

"Piplup. What are you doing here?" Alec knew his dad well enough to know why, but he liked asking.

"Gonna escort you to Canalave and see you off with your grandad. And good choice on Piplup, his final evolution is a steel type."

Alec cursed himself. "Let's go."

As they found themselves looking at the boat, Roark and Byron looked at each other.

"Son, we have a present for you." Roark was exited to see the expression on his face.

"Not another spade!" Alec laughed with his family, every four years, he got a spade for his birthday.

"No, no it's not that, it's a pokemon." Byron just as exited to see his grandson travelling the world than Roark, if not more. "Well, technically speaking, future pokemon, to remind you of your home, and no matter what, you're always welcome here." Byron handed an Armor Fossil to Alec. His Eyes glittered again.

"Thanks, guys." Alec loved his family. He heard the bell ring. "Gotta go. I'll send you guys a postcard!" He quickly hopped on board the boat and sped off towards Johto...

Marion Coulthard
Ribbons: None
Location: Lilycove City, Hoenn - Littleroot Town, Hoenn - Slateport City, Hoenn
Current Pokemon: Torchic

"Darling wake up, you have to get your..." an older female voice spoke as the younger person still in bed rolled over to her left. "Marion, wake up dear" the female voice was more strained and weary as the girl finally woke up. "Finally you wake up dear, you are going to be late" the older female voice continued as the younger girl got up "Mother how am I going to get there though? and how should I dress? and what happens if there is nothing for me?" the young girl started firing different questions as her mother sighed and looked down "Marion, dear you are going to be fine and you will go by helicopter as one of the richest families in Hoenn, we can't risk you going alone in the wild, you maybe kidnapped and we don't want that dear just get ready and have your breakfast" her mother walked out of Marion's room.

"What to wear" she thought after she first brushed her teeth, had a shower and dried her hair. The girl was Marion Coulthard, part of the famed Coulthard business family and she was the heiress to the throne, she had long dark blonde hair and was very good looking for a girl her age which is fourteen in her opinion. She looked in her wardrobe for any clothing that she could wear. "No, no, not that, that is ugly, no, no, why do I have this, no..." she thought as she threw a lot of her clothes on the ground that she didn't want to wear.

Finally at last she picked a simple purple sundress and decided to tie her hair backup and also put on straps sandals that are open toed and her silver watch, a bracelet and a silver locket with her initials on it. She was happy with her look and decided that it was best to leave to go and start her journey until she had to fulfill her later duty in her life but that was a long time away.

After eating breakfast with her father and her mother in an awkward silence, the atmosphere broke with her mother talking "Dear, have you packed everything you need?" as Marion was about to answer, her father interrupted "Everything has been packed and the clothes by you remember" talking to his wife as they both nodded. "You did everything but why?" asked Marion as she looked at her breakfast plate, "Honey, we just want what's best for you" her mother said as a sound of a helicopter came near.

"Honey good luck, your ride is here and make us proud Pumpkin" her father said as she ran towards the door "Bye father and mother, love you both" Marion called out as she ran out to the front yard and hopped in the helicopter.

Eventually reaching Littleroot Town's Gym. Marion jumped off the helicopter safely as it landed. "You must Ms. Coulthard, who doesn't know you" said a tall figure in a white lab coat. He had brown hair with strand of grey, here and there but he did look quite young considering the grey hair. "Yes I am, sorry I am late" she replied as the Professor escorted her to the Pokemon "Well I only have one left, so yes you are late" he said looking at a disappointed Marion "But it is also fate that you and this Pokemon are going to be together" he said to cheer up "Oh by the way I am Professor Birch if you didn't know".

He handed the Pokeball to Marion, "It is a Torchic, I am sure that this Pokemon and you are going to bond very well" he said as he picked up another item which was a Pokeball "Now bear with me here, "This is a PokéBall, and you can use it to capture other Pokémon and here is five of them." Professor Birch handed five Pokeballs to Marion who placed in her black designer handbag. "Alright this little gadget is PokéItem, which works as a phone, PokéDex, radio, map, and Universal GPS" he happily explained feeling very proud about the item as Marion placed it in her purse "Thank you" she politely remarked to the Professor.

After saying her goodbyes to Professor Birch, Marion hopped in the helicopter to go to Slateport which was to have a ship that went to Johto. Marion looked at her purse and took out a slip of paper and a ticket. She read it out loud "Marion, these are tickets to the ship that will take you from Slateport to Johto, They are first class and we love you honey, make us proud....love your Mother and Father" she smiled happily as she looked at the tickets "Wow first class" she thought as she put everything back in her purse and looked at the view from the window of her helicopter.

After check in to the ship, Marion looked at her first class cabin and placed her stuff neatly in each place she could. "This is so elegant" she thought referring to the room but she wanted to see her Pokemon but decided it was better to look outside and see the view. The Blonde teenager went out of her cabin and looked around, it was peaceful and to her liking, "Lets see" she muttered as she realised her Pokemon which was a Torchic which happily chirped as it saw its new owner "Aren't you precious" she said as she went down to its level and smiled as it looked at her. After bonding with her Pokemon, she and Torchic stood on the wooden deck feeling the ocean breeze and taking in the fresh air "This is going to be a good trip" she thought as she smiled.

Tambry Little
Magnet Train from Saffron City - Goldenrod City
Current Team: Bulbasaur
Badge Count: -

The world outside the window of Tambry's train car was a blur, a mix of colours as the trees and the lakes and the towns sped by at unimaginable speeds. It was thrilling, a rush she usually only found when competing, but the prospect of possibly becoming the Johto League Champion was fueling her.

Just a few short days ago, Tambry had decided that starting her Pokemon journey with her Bulbasaur might actually be a good idea. She had always danced around the idea since receiving the grass-type starter from Professor Oak just a month ago, but somehow it seemed that now that the gymnastics season was over she could finally take a breather and set her sights on something else.

A trolley rolled down the isle pushed by one of the train workers. The cart was laden with sweets and sandwiches and Tambry quickly dug some money out from a pocket, buying a bit of lunch for herself and her Pokemon. They'd need as much energy as they could get because once touching down in Goldenrod City they would have to bike down to New Bark Town where she had promised her mother she would check in with at her aunt's house.

Pulling a Poke Ball off her belt, Tambry released her Bulbasaur, a small green dinosaur-like Pokemon with a large growing bulb on its back. Its red eyes gleamed in the bright afternoon light filtering in from the windows and it licked its lips hungrily as Tambry poured out some Pokemon food for it to eat before digging into her own sandwich. There was still a ways to go until they reached Goldenrod City, but Tambry could not wait.

Current Pokemon: War/Charmander

Nihill gazed upon the PokeItem in his hand. The small device was supposed to be the ultimate tool for any trainer, containing a universal GPS, a phone, a Pokedex, and other things. Any other trainer would have treasured such a device.

Nihill did not.

"Information is meaningless," Nihill said flatly, repeating the words he had said to Professor Oak earlier that morning. "All that this device is good for is its GPS."

The boy stuffed it back into his pocket, where he refused to allow it to see the light of day. He pulled a single Pokeball off of his belt, examining it.

"Charmander..." Nihill whispered. "A Fire-type Pokemon. I know enough about you to know that you will help me destroy."

And then he opened the Pokeball.

Light burst from the Pokeball, and it formed into a lizard-like shape. Nihill's starter yawned, stretching its flame-sporting tail. Evidently, it had been in its Pokeball for quite a while.

"War," Nihill said to his starter. "That is your name."

The Charmander simply shrugged.

"I am your trainer, you are my starter," Nihill continued. "That is all you need to know."

War only shrugged again.

"Return," Nihill said, and a red beam of light absorbed War back into its Pokeball. "Now...we leave."

****

It took Nihill a short while to reach the docks at Vermillion City, primarily because his grandparents gave him a ride. The ship was still in port, so he had time.

"Take care of yourself, grandson," said Nihill's grandfather, a balding and wrinkled man.

Nihill gave a slight nod before he boarded the ship. For a moment, he thought he saw another trainer or two, but quickly dismissed it. As the ferry left, his grandparents began to converse.

"I'm worried about him, dear," said Nihill's grandmother, a grey-haired woman who also possesed wrinkles.

"As am I," nodded the grandfather. "He hasn't been the same since that trip to Sinnoh...after he fell into Lake Verity."

"What happened to him?" the grandmother asked, as if her husband would know. "He used to be so full of life, like we used to be in our own youth...now Nihill walks as if he is an empty shell, devoid of all that life."

"I don't know, dear," the grandfather shook his head. "I do, however, know one thing..."

He turned and limped back to their car.

"We need to research Lake Verity," he finished. "Wherever Nihill is going, anyone he'll be traveling with must know what is wrong with him."

Too hot. Jake glanced up at the sky, staring straight into the big, bright sun. It's ray's were hitting down on the sea, and the boat that was speeding across it. There was no wind and very few clouds were out to block the sun.

Beside him his Turtwig was sitting perfectly still, it's eyes were starring off in the direction of the fast approaching land mass.

Johto. Jake had taken a couple of holidays to Johto as a kid, one to Goldenrod and another to the mountain resort of Silver Town. Now he was here for a completely different reason.

He glanced down at his Pokémon and saw it was looking at him, expecting him to say something.

“Uh...well, it looks like we're almost there.” He started looking from Turtwig to the ever closer New Bark town port. “We'll head to Professor Elm's and from there we'll work out what to do.” The blonde haired boy finished.

“Tur, twig wig, turtwig!” His Pokémon responded, shooting it's trainer a small smile that for some reason Jake found himself reciprocating.

For them, the rest of the short journey proceeded in silence.

Alec Redwood.
Location: Near New Bark town.

Pokemon: Piplup (Peck, Growl, Pound)

"Piip, Piplup!" Alec had no idea why he was buying a Small Blue, fashion conscious Penguin a pair of sunglasses, but he was. Piplup showed him a pair of sunglasses, he looked at them.

"Three Thousand Poke? Are you mad? That's half my savings!" Alec started wondering why he was arguing with a Pokemon, he assumed it was how boys reacted to their Girlfriends. Piplup shot a blast of water at him.

"PIIIP!" Piplup looked angry, and Alec didn't want her to destroy any electrical equipment.

"Allright, i'll get it!" Piplup was teaching him alot about having a girlfriend...

Piplup ran off into the shop again and appeared with Eight scarves, one red, one blue, one green, one yellow, one Gold, one Silver, one black and one white.

"Piip!" Piplup obviously wanted the whole team to participate in contests, Alec could imagine it all: His team, covered in Ribbons, loved by the fans and loathed by the competition. The cream of the crop. He then saw himself. And he then saw that each member of the team had a scarf, and Alec had the black one.

"All right, you talked me into it, But to make sure we don't waste all MY savings on a boat, return." The Pokeball shot out a beam of red light and sucked in Piplup. Alec then moved towards the payout.

Alec was at the bar. It was about ten minutes before they arrived in Johto. He realeased Piplup, who put on her Sunglasses immediately.

"So, Piplup, which scarf do you want." He stared into the Pokemon's eyes. "You already know, don't you?"

"Piip!" Piplup swiped the Red scarf out of the Pile and tied it around her neck, the slack of the scarf looked like some red Streamers. And Piplup was like a Superstar.

Alec walked up to the barman. "A virgin Pina Coloda, please." He looked at Piplup. Even behind those dark sunglasses, he knew they looked straight at him. "Actually," he said to the Barman, "Make that two."

"Wow, this is so cool!" Matt exclaimed as he held his First Pokemon in his hands. Although he didn't look at the gecko, he knew he wanted it from watching TV Broadcasts featuring Birch and the Hoenn Starters.

He set the gecko gently down on the wooden deck and took out the PokeItem from its clip. "So... this thing is a PokeDex?" Matt looked at the item and turned it on. It was touch screen, with a slid up QWERTY Keyboard for texting. He pressed a few buttons and got to the PokeDex section. He flashed the PokeItem in front of Treecko and it spoke in a robotic girl voice.

"Treecko, the gecko Pokemon. They usually live in big forests adn eat the leaves from trees. Trees are also home to many Treecko. Known moves for this Treecko are: Pound and Quick Attack." the PokeItem explained.

Matt turned it off and put it back in the case, clipped to his pants. "Come on, Treecko," Matt extended his arm out for Treecko to climb up on his shoulder. "We're going to explore this vast boat."

"Treecko!" the little gecko said and jumped up in the air, thinking it seemed much better then climbing up Matt's arm.

The two walked around the deck admiring everything the boat had to offer. This boat had everything. A swimming pool, hot tub, work-out area, playroom for the Pokemon, and, of course, the huge cabins. Matt noticed a rich-looking girl looking out at the vast sea; she must love admiring the sea.

"Hey, I'm a beginning Pokemon Trainer. This is my First Pokemon... who I've only had for a few minutes. Haha," Matt joked as he pat Treecko on the head. "I'm Matt, by the way. You are?"

Location: Oceans between Hoenn and Johto

Marion continued looking at the sea collecting her thoughts about her trip, what to do, where to travel and if anyone knows her family but then she was interrupted from them which did surprise her by a male voice but didn't annoy her one bit because she was wanting at least some sort of a chat. "Hey, I'm a beginning Pokemon Trainer. This is my First Pokemon... who I've only had for a few minutes. Haha," he said as Marion smiled and looked at his Pokemon which was a Treecko. "Cute" Marion thought as she looked at it as she released her Torchic.

Marion's Torchic greeted the male's Treecko "Looks like they enjoy each other's company, that's good" she said looking at them greeting, playing and just being friendly. "I'm Matt, by the way. You are?" he introduced as Marion assumed herself that he was going to at least offer her his hand to shake but it wasn't to be. "My Name is Marion, Marion Coulthard from Lilycove and I am beginning as well, which part of the boat are you staying at Matt?" she asked as she hoped that he didn't know her heritage.

The blonde teenager smiled "You are heading to Johto?" she asked as she leaned against the railings of the ship. "I am heading there, contests should be fun though" she added as she was thinking "It would be fun to have to travel with someone" wondering that Matt would ask her to travel with him but then again why would he. Marion looked at the Pokemon playing on the deck and also the ocean marveling at the sea "It is so beautiful" she thought as she forgot about Matt and her Pokemon for a split second until she looked away and smiled.

Alec jumped off the boat and was exited to see Johto. He rushed outside.

The trees were different than the ones in Sinnoh, probably better adapted to the warmer climate. The architecture of the buildings was more rustic, the usual design of Johto was very fun. He remimded himself that he needed to pass the professor's greetings to Prof. Elm. He looked for the biggest building in the town, which was the harbour. Prof. Elm wasn't in the harbour. So Alec ended up asking for directions to the Lab.

"Excuse me," he asked a young girl. "Do you know where professor Elm's lab is?"

"Yeah, it's just down that road, to the right." The girl winked at him. Alec blushed and walked away.

Elm's Lab was in no way like the one in sinnoh. It was buzzing. A group of scientists were rushing about, always having something to do. There was a lobby, he sat down and waited.

Jake smirked to himself as he watched some kid leap from the boat and run off. No doubt he was heading to the lab. Looking down at Turtwig he decided it would probably easier if he returned his Pokémon for the walk.

His hand went to his belt and when he brought it back up again Turtwig's Pokéball was in tow.

"Alright...Turtwig, return." He muttered pressing the button the Pokéball. A red light shot out and enveloped his Pokémon; shrinking it down and then sucking it into the ball.

With this done, Jake placed the Pokéball back at his belt and then pulled out his PokéItem. Flipping it to reveal the screen he brought up the map of New Bark town and quickly located where he was. From there he found Professor Elm's lab.

The PokéItem was stuck into his pocket and he set off walking through the grassy path's of the town.

After about ten minutes he found the lab appearing in sight and with a quick glance at the watch on his wrist he kept walking.

Skylar walked down the street, the wind blowing In his face, feeling cool against his warm skin.

Soon, he came upon a large building with a sign reading ‘Pallet Town Research Lab.”

He walked in to be greeted with white tiles, white walls, and white lab equipment. It hurt his eyes a little, but after a few seconds, he got used to it.

“Ah, you must be Skylar, you’re here for your Squirtle, correct?” asked an older gentleman, who Skylar assumed to be Professor Oak.

“Yes sir,” said Skylar weakly.

“No need to be shy, step this way please,” called Oak as he waltzed over to a lab table where there was one Pokeball left.

Skylar picked it up and pressed the small button in the middle of the ball, and a red beam of light shot to the ground, revealing his Pokemon, a small blue turtle.

“Squirtle, squirt!” cried the small Pokemon loudly.

“He seems excited,” said Oak. “Now take these. Five Pokeballs, and something that should come in fairly handy, the PokeItem. It has a Pokedex, phone, GPS, radio and map. I’m sure you’ll make good use of it!”

Skylar clipped his Pokeballs around his waist, including his empty one for Squirtle, and his PokeItem, and ran off through the door.

------------------

Skylar arrived a few hours later at Vermillion City to board the boat to Johto, after he got his older brother to drive him.

“Well, I guess this is goodbye for now Sky,” chimed his brother as Skylar got out of the car.

“Yeah, but I’ll call often, so no worries,” he said with a smile.

His brother then looked down at Squirtle who was standing beside Skylar, “Take care of him.”

As his brother drove away, he looked on until his car vanished. He then turned to the large boat before him.

He walked up the dock, flashed his ticket so he could board, then wandered on, searching for his cabin. It took about five minutes, but he finally found it.

He sat in a chair, watching Squirtle look around in awe. He then looked out a window, staring at the ocean.

“Johto, here we come.”

Ship to Johto

Alex was about to give up and head back to his cabin when Mudkip started twitching. "What's wrong?" he asked his Pokemon, but he noticed that the fin on Mudkip's head seemed to be vibrating again. "Oh, I know what that means." Alex shifted his eyes left and then right, glaring down the halls before giving Mudkip orders to proceed. As the fin continued to twitch, Mudkip led the way, his orange cheek spikes acting as sensors as well as a homing device. Mudkip had found some Pokemon, and Alex knew they belonged to trainers. Mudkip just knew all about that stuff.

Peeking around from a corner on the deck, Mudkip tilted its head forward, signaling that the Pokemon were just ahead. "Thanks," Alex told him and Mudkip nodded, jumping on his shoulder. Alex counted to three and got down on his knees, crawling under a table to peek at the trainers and their Pokemon. He saw a girl - somehow recognizable, from somewhere, somehow - and a boy. To their sides, they had Pokemon that Alex had seen when Winona had Professor Birch deliver a starter Pokemon to his hometown. That was when he chose Mudkip. "Do you recognize those Pokemon, Mudkip?" Oliver asked.

"Mud, Mud kip!" His Pokemon responded, nodding happily. Alex shook his head, understanding. That made them rivals. And Mudkip loved rivalries. He always loved to prove how strong he was. But now wasn't the time for that. He had to keep himself from being discovered. After hearing out any important information the two had - which was hardly anything, aside from the blonde girl being a Coordinator - he headed back to his cabin, sneaking out the way he had come in. Mudkip hopped back onto the bed and pressed his foot onto the remote control, turning on the TV.

While Mudkip watched a cartoon of some crudely drawn Pokemon - a child's show, Alex remembered - he turned on his laptop and pulled up the data of those two he had seen in the Lounge. "Marion Coulthard..." Alex still couldn't find out where the name was familiar from. He pulled up the Hoenn search engine and type in her name, pulling up files of the entire Coulthard family. Alex smirked, raising an eyebrow. "A formidable competitor, it seems," Alex looked over at Mudkip who had fallen asleep. "Just a few more hours until we arrive. Then we can prove to everyone just who the Top Coordinator is." Alex turned off his laptop and sat on the floor, looking out the window as the sea rolled past them.

Matt set Treecko down for a little bit and the gecko decided to talk to Torchic. Treecko and Torchic seemed to be enjoying their chat and that made Matt think of something about the two of them. He was about to ask the question when Marion had an onslaught of questions for Matt.

"Hmmm," the boy started, thinking about which question he should start off with. "First, I'm staying in a cabin, and I really don't know 'what part of the boat' that is," he slightly laughed thinking it was weird for someone to say that. "Also, yes, I'm heading to Johto. I'm from Hoenn, but I decided to start in Hoenn. You want to travel with someone?" he asked, completely unaware that she might have been interested in traveling with him.

After answering, Matt noticed a boy with a Mudkip, (Silver_Seoul's character), "watching" them. Treecko turned around and seemed to get over-excited, like a kid on Hanukkah. (I'm Jewish, haha) Marion seemed to have not noticed, as she was looking at the sea.

The boy quickly left, presumably to his cabin. "Be right back, Marion," Matt called as he left. Treecko hopped on his shoulder and Matt ran after the boy. I don't know if this is a coincidence, but Marion, that mysterious boy, and myself all have Hoenn Starters. Treecko got overly excited when meeting both Torchic and Mudkip. Eh, this could be a big misunderstanding. We'll see soon, I guess. Matt thought as he pursued the boy further. He sort of came to a stop, but still kind of ran, so he could see what cabin he goes in and doesn't get spotted himself.

Once the boy entered his cabin, which was a few cabin's down from Matt's, he crept slowly to the door and knocked, but didn't knock hard, so it would seem like he was a bad guy.

Before the boy had a chance to open, or check who it was, Matt quickly said, "Hi, I'm Matt Azena. I have a question for you. I saw you sort of looking or spying this girl Marion and myself. So, why? Also, and I don't know if this matters, but my Starter, Treecko seemed like he was very excited when seeing your Mudkip. Just curious, and if you don't answer the door, I'll leave because I'd find it weird if some guy knocked on my door asking questions like that." He explained, and stood there, waiting.

Ship to Johto

Alex sat on the edge of his bed, staring out the window in a daze as the ship edged along slowly. Suddenly he heard a knock on his door, causing him to hit his head on the railing of his bunk. He bit his lip in pain as he gripped his forehead and walked over to the door. Before he could even open it some boy was introducing himself. That boy was the guy Alex had been watching. He curse under his breath and grabbed Mudkip's Pokeball, pressing the button and returning him to the capsule. He minimized the device and hid it in his jacket pocket.

Snatching open the door, he stared the boy in the face. "I'm sorry, I think you have the wrong cabin," Alex lied. He couldn't risk letting too much information slip. "I don't have any Pokemon." He bit his lip, hoping he could pull of the lie. There was no way he could have any competition knowing his stats. He had to be more clever, more secretive, more of a surprise. And the only way to do that was to keep everyone - everyone - in the dark. "I'm just going to Johto to visit my cousin," Alex continued and started to shut the door before an idea popped into his head. He jerked the door back open and invited the boy in.

"I have a question... You said you had a Treecko?" Alex raised an eyebrow as he looked on the boy's shoulder, observing the Pokemon, wondering where he had gotten the Pokemon from. If he could find out from him, he'd know a bit more about where Marion had gotten hers. Maybe then he could calculate how strong they were. If it came down to anything drastic, he'd have Mudkip rate their strength. "Where'd you get it? You must be from Hoenn as well... I'm from Fortree City." Alex was starting to get manipulative, but he knew he wasn't to express anything.

Finding a spot for Matt to sit, Alex took a seat at his desk and turned, facing him and his Treecko as they started to answer his questions.

Nihill had taken up residence in one of the cabins, remaining there for the entirety of the journey. While War made itself comfortable on the floor, simoultaneuosly attempting to not set fire to the cabin, its trainer simply stared blankly out the window.

"We will arrive in Johto soon," Nihill droned. "Once there, we will go to Professor Elm's lab. There, we will register for the Johto League."

"Char?" War said, guiding an inquisitive look to its trainer.

"I only wish to enter the Johto League to gain strength," Nihill said to his Pokemon. "I have no need of trophies or glory. I only wish to destroy."

"Charmander..." War moaned. What was wrong with its trainer?

"We are now arriving in Johto!" a voice boomed over a speaker. "We hope you enjoyed your trip!"

Nihill glared at the speaker for a moment, then, took out his one Pokeball.

"Return," Nihill said, sending Charmander back into its Pokeball. He then left the cabin and went outside.

Nihill methodically walked to the edge of the ship. He saw the land of Johto approaching fast, a land he wanted to burn. Once he got off the ship, where no rules would prevent him from battle, he would begin his quest.

"So, this is Johto," Nihill said in a low voice. "Let us see what it has to offer."

I'm from Hoenn, but I decided to start in Hoenn. You want to travel with someone?" he asked as Marion's face lighted up and was about to answer until he noticed something odd.

Be right back, Marion," Matt called as he left to run to a cabin. "Oh right" Marion muttered as she waited but wanted in the action anyway, so she followed Matt not sneaky but just following him nonetheless. She saw and heard Matt say a few things and knocking as a boy let him in. "Where'd you get it? You must be from Hoenn as well... I'm from Fortree City." she heard from another male voice but Marion decided she might as well barge in.

"Sorry but you can't leave me hanging, guys" she said as she walked in without her Torchic who was in its Pokeball. "Matt, Yes to answer your question and who are you?" she asked the other male as she wondered if he was going attack or pull anything that could cause her to be in any danger.

"Oh to answer my question again, Matt I'm staying in the front top level of the ship and that is about it" as she looked at her watch and looked at the guys. "So why are we here?" she asked as she looked around the room she found creepy.

Matt waited a couple of seconds for the boy to answer, and he was actually about to walk away and the door slowly crept open. Matt noticed the boy from before, and peeked his head out and began speaking.

The boy explained that he was just going to Johto to visit his cousin and that he didn't have any Pokemon when Matt clearly saw him entering his cabin with a Mudkip, possible a Pokemon that knew Treecko.

Matt scoffed. "Ha, I saw you entering this cabin with a Mudkip. You may have put it in its PokeBall, but I saw you." Matt announced.

Eventually, the boy let him and the two sat down on the desk and Treecko layed down on the ground. Soon enough, the boy asked where Matt got his Treecko and where he was from.

He tried hard not to lie, just like what this boy was doing to him. "Yes, I'm from Hoenn. More specifically, from Slateport. Of course Treecko was my starter that I received from Prof. Birch today. Anything more about yourself? Oh, and don't lie this time." Matt smiled sort of mischievously, knowing that he could lie just like the boy did.

Before he could answer, Marion appeared and her Torchic must have been its PokeBall because it wasn't next to her, or just with her. Matt explained the situation to her, and Matt and Marion awaited this boy's response to Matt's question.

Alex sighed as a girl infiltrated his cabin. The same girl from earlier with the Torchic. This wasn't exactly how he had pictured getting his information. Letting them have a seat, he was careful to not let them see the Pokeball clipped to his belt, hiding it under his jacket. Flipping his hair out of the way, he started to answer their questions. Instead of lying, though, he just decided to... avoid the truth. "Well, you see, I'm from Fortree City of Hoenn, as well," Alex started, choosing his words carefully. "I was... a student under Winona and I took classes at the Weather Institute. My father was never ...lucky with his finances. He could never afford to send me on a journey with a Pokemon."

So far so good, he though. Shifting his weight, he continued the story, his eyes darting to the Treecko for a split second. Starting back up, he said, "Recently I was fortunate enough to... come across enough fare to travel to Johto and visit my grandparents, where they would take me to Professor Elm's Lab and I could get a starter." That had all technically been true, but it was all before he had Mudkip. He was already risking enough by giving them this much information, but so long as he covered his tracks he'd be fine. "So sorry to tell you you're mistaken. I have no Pokemon nor was I spying on you two on the deck." He waved away their false accusations as the captain of the ship spoke over the loudspeaker.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the ship will be docking in Johto in about half an hour. We ask that any of you departing begin to pack up your belongings and prepare to head out to the deck. Thank you all for your cooperation and have a nice day." Alex grinned. If he could just keep them busy for a little over fifteen minutes, he'd be in the clear. Jumping up, he grabbed his backpack from the corner and packed everything up that he had unpacked in the room, which wasn't much in the first place. Sitting back in his seat, Alex turned to the girl. "What about you? Do you have any Pokemon? Where you from?" He just had to keep them busy a little longer...
