Yeah, quite interesting. Though needing a Mega Pidgeot to beat a Rhydon is an overkill.

They should've given Giovanni Mewtwo or Guzzlord here (or, at least, a Rhyperior).

Heck, even G-Max NIdoking would've been better. Not sure anyone noticed but in Let's Go they made sure to not give top trainers Pokemon which got evos after Gen 1. Red, Blue and Green don't have Rhydons, Magnetons etc. I believe knowing a Pokemon has an Evo makes it feel less intimidating.

Mega Kangaskhan maybe?;-) Since Blue is not using a Ground-Type Giovanni also doesn't need to;-D
It's crazy Blue has hardly any Ground types with only a Rhydon/Rhyperior and Sandslash (Yellow only). Actually Blue using a Sandslash or a Marowak vs Giovanni's Nidos or Rhyperior would've been fun to see Or Alolan Dugtrio as a nod to his Alola visit:-D

There is also team rocket's meowth who has appeared in game as an NPC and some sync pairs seem to be with trainers who don't don't technically own them and it does gigantamax in the anime and as an anime tie in it could be a fun addition.

Fair point and I suppose as Lord Godwin suggested they could at least make them distinct. It does me some hope we might see trace at some point given they are still remembering Pokemon lets go games.

Boring datamine outside of probably my second favourite academy staff member. Definitely pulling her (something needs to be done about all the cool characters being poison types). If that goes well, I may do the Giovanni and Guzzlord rerun. Everything else is meh, especially the src suit.

Unlocked another pair Hugh & Unfezant by exchanging Training Tickets from the damage battles. I picked a bit randomly amongst the pairs but it's another one unlocked at least.

Not that Masters' story has ever been worth talking about outside of a couple of events, but even by their own standards, the Arceus arc just sucks, and I can't wait for it to be over. What are the Arceus cups and how do they work? Does Lear hold one every week? Because every time they want to release a new Arc suit, there is an Arceus cup conveniently happening. Why couldn't they structure it like the PML where it's just one tournament and people awaken their arc suits in different rounds. At least there would be some sense of continuity then whatever this randomness is. Some of the Arc Suits are also just not connected to whatever the overarching story is, and it just feels like there's no solid plan or direction, which might actually be true, but at least do a better job of hiding that. And of course it doesn't help the arc suits themselves are all uninspired, ugly outfits that I don't even want to pull for.

I do think the Arc suits are ok but probably a bit overused. For me when it comes to storyline there's a whole bunch of characters who have never been added as playable characters despite being npc and many of them have one thing in common, they are or were villains and the villain arcs have been fun in my opinion. Another villain event for characters like Tabitha, Matt, Shelly, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Faba, the Shadow Triad and a few others could easily make them more significant as part of a new story and become unlockable and if they really want to go wild they could add someone unexpected like Greevil, Gonzap or Evice (assuming they have the rights to the characters). Also as mentioned previously I am hoping for the Miss Fortune sisters and Team Rocket's meowth as a battling Pokemon. I do think some of the recent stories could have done a bit more with the characters.

It's a bit tough to use arc sync pairs even though they can't hit hard as strikers do, but the rebuffs that they provide helps a lot though. It's just that their sync moves are tough to level even though we need to use the yellow candies to level up their sync moves. If only we could use the candies of their perspective EX roles, then we wouldn't have to be in saving some 5 star candies for the sync pairs of our choices.

They have to start letting us converting some of these 3-4 star candies into 5 star candies even though we're hoarding a lot of them, but we don't have any use of them esp when we have ways level up the 3-4 star sync pairs without using the candies.

Pulled Miriam on the third multi and got my 3rd copy of Klara on the way. That should make it relatively easy to pull Giovanni and Guzzlord later this month but he shares the banner with Rosa and Maxie and I have both already so idk

I'm starting to think that pasio tower burned us out so fast even though we don't have enough sync pairs to cover the other floors in terms of physical, special, and status conditions which are becoming a roadblock. we're just lacking them on certain types of pasio tower.

So far i cleared a total 207 floors, but fire tower remained incomplete since F30 has been tough on me lately and i don't have much of a burn synergies within the sync grid to do a lot of damage.

Im at 300+ floors and I'm just getting a bit bored of the mode since the battles take too long. Most of the time I forget to do them until Sunday. But it's a permanent mode so I don't care too much honestly, I took my time with the UBs and now they don't feel hard at all. Eventually the towers will be the same
