Looking for a co-owner for this thread before starting Game 2. If anyone is interested please do give me a heads up. I'll sign you on right away.
Edit: wolf jani is now co-owner of this thread. Be sure to check most recent posts to see where the competitions stand, as the OP won't be consistently updated anymore like it originally was.
Welcome to the Pokémon Moves face-off thread! This game will determine the ultimate moves amongst popular opinions! Let's get right to it, shall we?
Nominations for game 2 are now open
1. Up to 10 nominations per user (subject to increase, depending on participation rate)
2. All Moves must be from the mainline Pokémon games. Nothing from spinoffs, anime, TCG etc. please.
3. Only established in-game (mainline) Moves are qualified to be nominated in this face-off. Do not nominate unreleased Moves.
4. Please do not nominate any beta/alpha Moves that were never actually implemented in the past or present games.
5. You may nominate Z-Moves, with the exception of status Z-moves. If you nominate a status move(s), it is to stay true to its original effect.
6. Do not to nominate a move that was nominated by a previous user. If you can, correct your mistake and replace (or remove) a Move or Moves if mistakes were made
How it works:
-Add one point to a move you want to win.
-Once a move has reached 10/10 points, it advances to the next Round.
-Move pairings are determined via an online random number sequence generator.
Rules
1. All SPPf General, Games, and Face-Off rules apply.
2. No arguing, complaining, pouting, or having an attitude if your preferred move (or moves) are eliminated. Keep it civil.
3. Above rule includes not harassing, flaming, belittling, teasing, or causing a scene under any circumstance. Keep in mind: It's just a game, and games are meant to have fun, whether if one is on a winning or losing side, so to speak.
4. No forming alliances or agreements with other users to put one move (or moves) over others.
5. Please wait until another user has posted until you post again.
6. If you can, please correct the tally if you were ninja'd or have made a typo of sorts.
7. Don't intentionally post incorrect tallies or information.
8. Waiting periods and cooldown times subject to change periodically, depending on flow of activity.
