Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Salvation’s Crusade

Got questions or just want to chat about the RP? No problem, you can do it all right here.

THE STORY

In a galaxy many light years away lies the Pokémon world of Kokoro. For many years, Kokoro had been a paradise, with many Pokémon creating small towns and villages that were established in union with nature. Meanwhile, the planet was brimming with a strong presence of mysterious Cyan Energy, which allowed Pokémon to perform abilities, magic, and art never touched before by Pokémon from other worlds, hence how the mystics of Kokoro came to be.

In time, humans from another world had discovered Kokoro, and had settled there for some time. In the beginning, they had established facilities, small enclosed farms, living quarters, power plants, and other establishments. At first, the Pokémon that lived on Kokoro were undecided about the humans after they saw the establishments they created. Meanwhile, the humans, not knowing the Pokémon had taken notice of their structures on Kokoro and its three moons, took special care to build only what they needed, and only built their colonies on deserted plains, wastelands, and deserts to avoid destroying the habitats of Pokémon. In time, once the primary establishments were created, they stopped building, and only stayed on the planet to conduct research and observe its species of plants, Pokémon, minerals, and other aspects.

While the humans investigated the planet, the native Pokémon debated about what was to be done about them. Some of them felt the humans were intruders, while others felt the humans had not harmed anyone, and many Pokémon defended them by mentioning cases where injured Pokémon were treated by them, and that the humans had taken care to make sure they damaged as little as possible by only settling on land that was only lightly inhabited. Regardless, under the command of Chieftain Scarmin the Tyranitar, his clan, Roaring Thunder, allied with Midnight Claw under the command of Dirge the Weavile, and the Adamant Swarm, led by Vrax the Accelgor, had opposed the arrival of the humans. Together, with their many allies, they had decided to force the humans off of Kokoro and its three moons by attacking them. Even though the humans had not even injured or captured a single Pokémon while they were there, they were mercilessly assaulted and killed, and had no chance to defend themselves because of the sudden, unexpected attack. In a hasty evacuation, the surviving humans left Kokoro and all of their establishments behind. Scarmin and the other clan leaders, happily arrogant about their accomplishments, left the human colonies to the elements, feeling they weren’t worth the effort of destroying them, and decided to let Mother Nature demolish them through time and allow them to serve as an example to all intruders that dared to consider settling upon the paradise planet. Little did they know, these colonies were made to withstand the harshest elements, and would stand the test of time for decades.

To ensure no humans would ever return to Kokoro, Scarmin ordered his mystics to permanently encase Kokoro with the Ward of Vindication, a spiritual encasing that would brand any human that stepped within it with the Heretic Brand, a curse that would mark the spirit of a human like a ethereal tattoo and cause physical, mental, and spiritual impairment and pain to them.

There were many Pokémon that believed the humans didn’t deserve such harsh cruelty and punishment, but with them gone and no sign of them ever coming back, the issue was laid to rest…

------

Seven years later, the mystics of Kokoro foresaw the dark coming of what they called “The Scorned,” demonic, macabre demons from a foreign world called Shingai that traveled the expanse of space and time in dark, gnarled vessels that resembled burning, volcanic rocks in their appearance. In their visions, these demons were like hulking gargoyles, only darkened in color, with many horns, spikes, and other jagged projections coming from their bodies. Meanwhile, they were capable of many dark magic and summoning powers, far beyond what even the mystics of Kokoro had. As time went on, they became the material of nightmares, causing Pokémon to sleep restlessly as the dark visions dug away at their souls…

Signs of their dark coming were proven as crops began to fail, and areas that were once lively mountains, radiant grasslands, and paradise rainforests became blighted and cursed as the land itself turned black and twisted. Meanwhile, disease had begun to spread among the Pokémon, causing many of them to be overcome by plague and sickness. It was then that the mystics had predicted that the Scorned would arrive in only five days, and would regard Kokoro as a ripe, new world to infest with their macabre presence…

The legendary Pokémon of Kokoro tried to use their powers to fight and counteract the dark plague of the Scorned, but even their abilities seemed to falter against the scourge. In a desperate effort, they had gone to the abandoned colonies of the humans that had retreated in fear several years ago, hoping their medicines, technologies, and innovations could help the now suffering Pokémon of Kokoro, and hopefully provide some defense against the incoming Scorned army that was only days away…

Upon arriving at the lost derelicts of the humans, it was then that the legendary Mew had beheld a vision, a dream where she saw that the humans had in fact established a Defense Matrix Barrier that was made to protect Kokoro and preserve the precious paradise planet, using the command center on Kokoro as the host nexus while the other facilities located in various locations on the planet were used to form the protective plasma shield around Kokoro in case of an emergency. Meanwhile, the vast amounts of medicines, technology, and even the weaponry of humans found in the many facilities, laboratories, and compounds could be used against the incoming Scorned while giving the Pokémon a chance to recover from the Plague of the Scorned, and defend the beautiful planet from the horrid, foreign invaders.

In tears, Mew explained the situation to the other legendaries, telling them that the humans had only meant well for the planet, and tried to protect Kokoro even from the very beginning. However, as the Pokémon soon discovered, only humans were capable of understanding the English text on the operations manuals and only they could operate the machines and computers that were needed to bring the facilities back online, the only hope the Pokémon of Kokoro had now.

With a heavy heart, Mew decided the only way to restore hope was to summon a group of humans to Kokoro, only they would have to arrive as Pokémon to hide their humanity from the vengeful and violent Kokoro Pokémon clans that had originally harmed their kind, and to shield them from the Ward of Vindication. However, with the clans’ mystics and ever-watching eyes, she knew it was only a matter of time before they were discovered.

Many of the legendaries were in despair, feeling it would be impossible for the humans to ever forgive the Pokémon of Kokoro and come to their aid after the heartless cruelty that was done to them. However, Mew, hoping with all her heart, decided to at least try, knowing everything would be lost if they failed. From the bottom of her soul, she had hoped that the humans she called upon would be willing to forgive what was done to them, help turn the facilities back online, and help prepare the Pokémon of Kokoro to defend their beloved world from the incoming scourge. Time was rapidly running out, and this was the only hope the Pokémon of Kokoro had…

-------

Only moments ago, the message had reached a few of those humans in the form of a vivid dream unlike anything you had ever experienced before…

My name is Mew, one of the legendary Pokémon of the world of Kokoro. I have felt your presence, and from the heart of my soul to yours, I must give you my most sincere apologies, for what was done to your kind on behalf of our people was heartless and cruel. Years ago, humans like you settled upon our world, only to be violently driven off by many of our own kind. However, many others like myself opposed this action, only it was far too late for us to intervene before they had taken action.

Now, we are facing dark and desperate times, as the coming of the Scorned will mark the end of our world if no one stops them. Many of us have fallen sick to their disease, while others are starving as our food supplies are spoiled and blighted. However, your people had left behind resources and facilities that could help cure our sick, restore our food supplies, and help defend our planet. As we have discovered, only humans like you are capable of putting these machines back in operation.

Please, I beg of you… find it in your heart to forgive us. Without you, we are lost…

It was then that they were taken from their sleep to the world of Kokoro to be reborn as a Pokémon. However, even as they woke up upon the paradise world, Mew could not tell if they would truly help the Pokémon of Kokoro, or whether they would seek vengeance for the savage murders that were done to their fellow man. She knew… it was the risk she would have to take…

It’s up to you to decide if the world deserves to be saved…

THE SCENARIO SURROUNDING KOKORO

At the moment, most Pokémon and the legendaries are willing to help the humans achieve their goal of reactivating the human facilities that the Pokémon of Kokoro now depend upon. However, not everyone believes they will save the world of Kokoro. The united clans feel confident about attempting to take on the Scorned by themselves, even though they stand questionable chance of success by themselves. They also know about the plan to reactivate the facilities, and like before, they regard the once-human Pokémon as sacrilege, and intend on eliminating them to prevent them from using their wicked machines and from stealing the glory they believe they will achieve when the battle against the Scorned initiates.

NOTES:

You can have your character be one of the humans turned into Pokémon, or be a member (RPing as one of the leaders is fine as well) of one of the three clans, seeking to claim the glory of defeating the Scorned without the need of human technology.

Once human characters, now as a Pokémon, can understand Pokéspeech (like the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games). The Pokémon of Kokoro cannot understand human English, but fellow RPer characters can. Your character can speak in human English to another RP character to hide their conversations from Pokémon NPCs (Use "<" and ">" in place of quotations), but it will give away the fact they were once humans, which may draw the attention of the clans. RPers who are controlling clan members may use this against you. Assume your character can also understand the operation manuals and the computers of the human facilities left behind by the first humans that landed upon Kokoro. You can also assume the operations aren’t overly complex, and that your character does not need to be a skilled scientist, engineer, or technician to understand and operate the facilities. Unlike the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, while your character has gone from human to Pokémon, all of their memories are intact.

Mew’s Crusade characters will start in Aramas (capital city that has no ties to the clans).

Characters part of the Adamant Swarm clan start in Farak, characters part of the Roaring Thunder clan start in Rasama, and lastly, characters part of the Midnight Claw clan start in Southwatch.

Finally, the Scorned arrive when the RP hits the fifteenth page, whether Kokoro is ready or not…

THE CLANS OF KOKORO

Most of the Pokémon in Kokoro live in peace, but there are three clans that are known and feared, all of which rule by strength and might. Together, they are unified with common goals, one of them being the destruction of humans.

The clans know that humans have been summoned to Kokoro thanks to the mystics and their Cyan Energy. They will attempt to find them and stop them to prevent them from stealing their glory, and because they are regarded as filthy invaders. Even the Pokémon that are helping the humans are regarded as enemies as well, and will suffer the same consequences.

ROARING THUNDER – Lead by Chieftain Scarmin the Tyranitar, the Roaring Thunder clan is merciless, and firmly believes might makes right. Mainly dominated by large, fully evolved, and heavy Pokémon, the Roaring Thunder clan is an aggressive faction, and firmly believes they can overcome the Scorned, even though many of them have fallen sick to the pestilence that has continued to spread across the land.

MIDNIGHT CLAW – Commanded by the roguish Weavile named Dirge, the Midnight Claw clan consists of very fast and agile Pokémon who are notorious thieves, pillagers, raiders, and muggers. With supplies low, they’ve had to become much more active in taking from fellow Pokémon in what they believe is simply a survival of the fittest, followed by their person credo of only the strong and quick deserve to survive. Naturally fearless, they aren’t intimated by the Scorned, even though they really should be…

ADAMANT SWARM - Led by Vrax the Accelgor, Adamant Swarm is clearly the largest clan by far, consisting of many Bug type Pokémon, as well as many other Pokémon that produce in massive droves, such as Zubat, Ratatta, and many others. Individually, these clan members aren’t strong, but as an overwhelming pack, they can overcome some of even the largest and toughest adversaries. Many of them have fallen to the dark scourges of the Scorned, and they want retribution at whatever the cost.

CRITICAL MISSION OBJECTIVES

If you are going to help the Pokémon of Kokoro, they will need the following to prepare them before the Scorned attack. While not every one of these objectives is needed, having as many done as possible will give the Pokémon a greater chance of surviving the incoming Scorned invasion. Some human compounds will the same resources as others, but activating these same resources will allow for further widespread distribution.

Activating each type of these resources at a human-based location requires three posts (which can be done cooperatively with another RPer character). On the third post, the resource comes online and is ready for use and distribution to the Kokoro defenders.

Human compounds are designated on the maps, and they may contain any of the following resources to help the Pokémon of Kokoro:

POWER PLANTS – Most of the compounds have a small power plant that needs to be activated before anything else can come online. Meanwhile, running electricity and power allows for operations to continue around the clock.

THE DEFENSE MATRIX – The Defense Matrix, a plasma energy barrier, that humans had built was made as a preemptive defense against meteors, comets, asteroids, and other such entities, but it will provide a strong enough barrier to repel most of the major superweapon attacks of the Scorned, and will serve as the strongest defense measure that the Pokémon of Kokoro can use in the upcoming war. In order to be activated, the Defense Matrix’s Hub Control station at the Nexus Base on Apex Island needs to be turned online first, followed by the Defense Matrix Relay Stations at Echo Base and Janus Station. Once this is done, it is estimated that the attack integrity of the Scorned will be cut in half, an absolutely crucial amount if Kokoro is to survive the Scorned assault..

MEDICAL ENGINEERING BAYS – These facilities were used for the creation and research of medical supplies, many of which have been well-preserved even after seven years of neglect. Medical engineering bays have many stockpiled pharmaceuticals and medical supplies that could help permanently cure the sicknesses that the Pokémon of Kokoro are facing and make them immune to the diseases that the Scorned are trying to spread. Meanwhile, machinery that can be used to make more medical supplies still waits in perfect, preserved condition. The more of these medical bays that are active, the more Pokémon will be ready to help defend the planet, as opposed to lying in bed too sick to fight. Meanwhile, these facilities will also be ready and waiting to help Pokémon injured from the impending war get back to the fight sooner, something that may just mean the difference between victory and defeat.

MUNITIONS COMPOUNDS – While not every Pokémon can use a human firearm, there are still many that can to some extent. Meanwhile, the humans that landed upon Kokoro had also prepared deployable SAM (surface-to-air missile) sites, which could also prove vital in defending Kokoro by striking as many Scorned out of the skies as possible before they even have a chance to land upon the planet’s surface. These same compounds also contain communication radios and headsets which are simple in construction and can be easily used by any Pokémon, along with other military-grade equipment, including landmines, remote explosives, night-vision goggles, and thermal sensors. The Scorned are not expecting superior human weapons and technology like these to be used against them, and that ignorance will not serve them well if these resources are acquired and successfully distributed among the Kokoro defenders.

E.D.E.N. TECHNOLOGY – E.D.E.N. (Environmentally Destructive Entity Neutralizer) technology has the capability of removing the blight and disease that has claimed many treasured forests and vital crops that Pokémon depend upon for survival. Meanwhile, it can also be used to revive spoiled and diseased food and cleanse water that has been tainted. Well-fed are revitalized Pokémon are far better fighters, and the very future survival of Kokoro now depends on this essential technology.

ZENITH AUTOMATIED ARCHITECTURE – The Zenith System designed by humans allowed for defense structures to be constructed and prepared almost instantly at any moment’s notice. This allowed for defense bunkers, sentry towers, command compounds, and armament stations to be built within seconds as buildings literally unfolded from metallic boxes, almost like a “pop-up” book. Meanwhile, the initial boxes could easily be transported and deployed anywhere. Needless to say, these structures will serve as superior defense positions and fortifications whereas the sharpened stakes and the stone walls of the native Pokémon towns simply won’t be enough.

EXCALIBUR ROBOTIC DEFENDERS – Excalibur robots, versatile in many roles and occupations that were originally deemed too dangerous for humans, can be recalibrated to serve from role to another, one of which includes defense from recognized enemy forces. Powered by incredible artificial intelligence, these machines were built to withstand heavy punishment and dangerous environmental conditions with their superior construction, weaponry, and armor. In the inevitable battle to come, they are potential soldiers that will know no fear, pain, or hesitation, and will not stop until destroyed. Meanwhile, these defense robots, if all of them are activated and strategically deployed, will boost the defending Kokoro forces by at least 35%, a vital difference that can make a successful defense that much more of a possibility.

RAGNAROK GUNSHIPS/TRANSPORTS – Not every transport that the humans initially brought with them was used in the evacuation. A rare few human bases still may have gunships and transports left behind, which if reactivated, will allow faster travel around the world (RP “teleporting” from location to location becomes legal), allowing Pokémon, supplies, and resources to be moved from one location to another with blazing speed while saving precious time, a resource that the Kokoro defense only has so much of…

Meanwhile, Ragnarok Gunships come equipped with the most superior power armor humans are capable of making, come armed with some of the deadliest weaponry known to mankind, and are actually superior to most of the vessels that the Scorned are using. However, while these transports and gunships have been simplified to the point where any human can pilot them, only once-human Pokémon will be able to use them. Normal Pokémon without knowledge of the English language won’t understand the English commands and input prompts that the vessels require. However, normal Pokémon inhabitants of Kokoro will be able to at least use the gunner positions with some basic understanding.

THE WORLD OF KOKORO

Kokoro.png

Major locations/cities are designated with a large white dot, while smaller locations/towns are designated with a small white dot. Names of human locations are marked in blue while names of Pokémon towns and cities are marked with green.

APEX ISLAND

NEXUS BASE – The Nexus base was the very core of the human operation on Kokoro, equipped with everything the base needed. Most of the base is in good condition, as the humans had evacuated as soon as they could once emergency broadcasts went out. The humans, even though they were armed with the weaponry to defend themselves, decided to leave without trying to fight the attacking Pokémon. Now, it serves as the central most important facility that the Kokoro defenders need activated.

Nexus Base has the following resources:
  • Power Plant – Necessary to go online
  • The Defense Matrix – Has the primary hub, which must be activated before the relay stations at Janus Station and Echo Base are turned on.
  • Medical Engineering Bays
  • Munitions Compounds
  • E.D.E.N. Technology
  • Zenith Automated Architecture
  • Excalibur Robotic Defenders
  • Ragnarok Gunships and Transports

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LASA

SOUTHWATCH – A major costal city dominated by Pokémon, and is the home of the Midnight Claw clan. Lately, the Pokémon of Southwatch have had numerous difficulties with growing food, and starvation has been an escalating problem as the area around the city becomes further and further blighted. Meanwhile, the first signs of the spreading plague have been sighted in Southwatch, causing many of the Pokémon to begin worrying.

Quintas – A small town originally founded by Water type Pokémon. Like Southwatch, Quintas suffers from a lack of food supplies. Quintas is also home to several Midnight Claw clan members.

Tepa – Originally a haven for Grass type Pokémon, Tepa has succumbed to blight, and as a result, many of the Grass type Pokémon here suffer from the same diseases which have left many dead, and many others dying. The Mightnight Claw clan has little influence here, but they are well known.

Tokan – Consisting of many Electric, Fire, and Dragon Pokémon, Tokan is a peaceful and tranquil town, but now suffers from having badly tainted drinking water, and their underground wells have been badly polluted. Meanwhile, Tokan has no connections to any of the three clans.

Paratan – Mostly Normal type Pokémon live here, though they welcome anyone to live among them. At the moment, Paratan is one of the lucky towns, and is still able to grow their own food, irrigate their wells with clean water, and seem to be relatively healthy. However, they don’t know how long that will last. Paratan has no connections to any of the clans.

Anya – Anya has been hit hard with pestilence, and as a result, many of the Pokémon that used to live here have migrated to either Paratan or Tokan. However, there are many still too sick to move, and the families that refuse to leave their loved ones behind. Anya has no connections to any of the clans.

JANUS STATION – A human communications and technology center which was one of the first compounds to go down in the attack. As a result, the alert about the Pokémon attack never went out, and as a result, the other outposts weren’t prepared for the attack either.

Janus Station has the following resources:
  • Power Plant – Necessary to go online
  • Defense Matrix Relay Station (must have the Hub at the Nexus Base turned on first)
  • Munitions Compounds
  • E.D.E.N. Technology
  • Zenith Automated Architecture
  • Ragnarok Gunships and Transports

Washington Depot – A small but significant depot that was mainly used for medical, biological, and chemical research. Weaponry was severely limited, and the humans had very little means to defend themselves during the attack.

Washington Depot has the following resources:
  • Power Plant – Necessary to go online
  • Medical Engineering Bays
  • E.D.E.N. Technology

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

KARAN

FARAK – Farak, once a welcoming metropolis for Pokémon of all types, has been hit the hardest of all Pokémon cities. Barely surviving, the graveyard continues to fill as the pestilence spreads further and the food supply has run dangerously low, to the point where Pokémon have resorted to eating spoiled food to try and survive. Meanwhile, the city does have heavy connections and is home to the Adamant Swarm clan and some connections to Roaring Thunder clan.

Freespring – A natural haven for Grass, Water, and Flying type Pokémon, Freespring used to be jubilant and lively before the impending doom was foretold. Now, the very lake that supports Freespring has become tainted, and the drinking water is simply unusable. Without its spring purified, the town will not survive for long. Meanwhile, the town does have connections to the Adamant Swarm clan.

Capo – A small town with many Pokémon types who specialize in handicrafts. At the moment, Capo’s issues with the incoming Scorned are minor, but the citizens are fearful that what happened to the other towns will happen to them soon. Capo has slight connections to the Adamant Swarm clan.

Jylasa – Seemingly now vacant, Jylasa used to be a home for Rock, Ground, and Poison type Pokémon, but has now gone mysteriously quiet, and no one truly knows what happened to the town’s citizens.

Turova – Mainly a refuge for Dark and Ghost Pokémon, Turova suffers from a strange sickness that has left many of the citizens blind, deaf, or crippled. Because of their desperation, Turova’s citizens have turned against the clans, strongly hoping that the humans will be able to activate the nearby facilities to help them.

Liberty Station – Originally intended to monitor Pokémon activity on Karan, Liberty Station’s humans were attacked brutally by the Adamant Swarm clan, and had very little in the ways of escapees.

Liberty Station has the following resources:
  • Power Plant – Necessary to go online
  • Medical Engineering Bays
  • E.D.E.N. Technology
  • Ragnarok Gunships and Transports

Ramos Outpost – Ramos Outpost was originally intended to be a military outpost that would help the humans protect Kokoro from any foreign entities. What they didn’t expect was for Kokoro’s Pokémon to attack them instead. In their last moments, they attempted to contact Janus Station, only by then, the communications had gone dead, and were left to have to evacuate on their own.

Ramos Outpost has the following resources:
  • Power Plant – Necessary to go online
  • Munitions Compounds
  • Zenith Automated Architecture
  • Excalibur Robotic Defenders
  • Ragnarok Gunships and Transports

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HYAND

ARAMAS – Aramas has become one of the forefront defenders in the upcoming war, mainly for the fact that the large Pokémon city has only suffered slightly from the diseases and blights of the Scorned. Knowing they carry most of the dependence on the world, these Pokémon have also thrown away their ties with the three clans, and now support Mew and the movement to try and reactivate the human facilities, willing to help the once-human Pokémon in any way they can.

SUNMAR – Strangely, the coastal city of Sunmar hasn’t seen sunlight for weeks upon weeks, and the rain that continues to fall has drowned crops with fetid water. Meanwhile, flooding has become a major problem, with many homes destroyed and carried away with the mass erosion. As a result, many Pokémon are desperate for food and shelter. Meanwhile, Sunmar has some connections to the Roaring Thunder clan.

RASAMA – While the food and drinking water supplies of Rasama are still intact, disease and sickness is what has been devastating the major capital city of Hyand. As home of the Roaring Thunder clan, Scarmin the Tyranitar is still honored as a hero, even though the warrior chieftain seems to be unaware of solutions to help the suffering city.

Havenlake – Strangely, this small town of mainly Water and Grass Pokémon have had crops fail, though the water seems to be fine. However, many of these Pokémon are very reluctant to drink the water, especially considering Rasama’s situation in the south. Meanwhile, Havenlake has strong connections to the Roaring Thunder clan.

Tanrock – Home to many Ground and Rock Pokémon, this ancient town has seen many disasters, but nothing like this. Tanrock has had a strange strain of sickness as well, leaving Pokémon seemingly alive and well one day, but then dead less than 24 hours later. Like Havenlake, Tanrock has connections with the Roaring Thunder clan.

Southridge – As a town of many Water, Flying, and Grass types, Southridge is another one of those rare few towns that suffers from only minor problems. However, their major problem is being very inept at fighting and warfare, leaving other nearby towns questioning how they will endure the upcoming war if they are directly attacked. Meanwhile, Southridge only has minor relations to the Roaring Thunder clan.

Junater – Mainly consisting of Electric, Fire, and Normal type Pokémon, Junater has only been inconvenienced by the blights, having to use a field a few miles away from town to grow crops and draw up clean water. Meanwhile, the diseases have been slightly curable with their own medicines, but every day, the situation grows worse little by little. Junater has no connections to the clans.

Misha – Misha, a town of Psychic and Steel types, has been one of the major centers of issues, and recently, the town had to be quarantined because of seriously blighted and sundered land, and macabre sicknesses that have left the Pokémon there in shambles. Pokémon from outside towns are strongly advised not to go into Misha, and unfortunately, Pokémon already in the troubled town are forced to stay there to prevent their diseases from spreading to other towns. Misha has no connections to any of the clans.

Talacola – Home to Fighting type Pokémon, Talacola, like its bigger brother city Aramas, also has remained free of many of the other serious plagues that haunt the other cities of Kokoro. They too, have supported Mew’s efforts to now use human technology to restore the world, and help them prepare to fight off the incoming Scorned.

ECHO BASE – A large desert base that was brutally attacked by the Roaring Thunder clan. Most of the human personnel that were here were able to see Scarmin’s massive force incoming, and most of the humans had evacuated before Scarmin’s force arrived. As a major air base, there are still many flying transports and gunships that haven’t flown since the human evacuation.

Echo Base has the following resources:
  • Power Plant – Necessary to go online
  • Defense Matrix Relay Station (must have the Hub at the Nexus Base turned on first)
  • Munitions Compounds
  • Medical Engineering Bays
  • Zenith Automated Architecture
  • Excalibur Robotic Defenders
  • Ragnarok Gunships and Transports

Bravo Station – Bravo Station was originally a technological research center before the attack. Unlike the other human facilities, Bravo Station was in fact never attacked, but all of the humans had evacuated after they were contacted that the rest of the human compounds had been assaulted, and were warned that they needed to retreat before the same happened to them. As a result, Scarmin and his forces found the station completely empty, much to his disappointment.

Bravo Station has the following resources:
  • Power Plant – Necessary to go online
  • E.D.E.N. Technology
  • Medical Engineering Bays
  • Zenith Automated Architecture

I have a quick question. Do the clan members know from the start that Mew's Crusade is there? I think they do, but I'm hesitating to go right into Vrax.
My current assumption is that they know Mew's Crusade exists, but they don't know who's in it. That's what the plot seemed to imply.

Meh, either way, I'd better find BLABO and make sure he reads my Vrax post... My underlings have to know my orders! (Lol, just kidding. But still... since he's in the Swarm...)

They do know Mew's Crusade exists, and they do have their mystics to help them track down where the once-human members of Mew's Crusade are. Allowing them to "cheat" a bit when it comes to finding the members of Mew's Crusade does making things more intense and exciting.

I think each clan should have a base somewhere on Kokoro... what do you guys think?

They do though.

Characters part of the Adamant Swarm clan start in Farak, characters part of the Roaring Thunder clan start in Rasama, and lastly, characters part of the Midnight Claw clan start in Southwatch.

Consider those their home bases.

Whatcha gotta say?
I'm not quite sure how to begin. Do we just pick a legendary Pokemon to go ahead and guide us to one of the areas or do everyone meet at some facility in Aramas first before dividing into groups/squads and branching off?

Like EmiChika said, should we meet up? That's what everyone seems to be doing... Will we meet up and divide jobs into teams, or do we all just go separately?

I'll meet up with Shaymin and Martin for now...

There's a few posts in the game that are too short; of course, you don't need to make them nearly as long as mine...

I have a mostly complete SU for Scarmin, actually, if you still want that Neo Pikachu. I think I need to adjust a couple of things, though. And Vrax's SU gave me some trouble because I want to make Scarmin older than that. A Tyranitaur would be a long-lived species, I think.

I could edit that slightly. The thing about Pokemon ages is that it's so different, like animals... I figured that since Vrax is an insect, late 30s would be pretty ancient...

If you'd like, I'll change Vrax's age. After all, Cyan Energy. Mystics. I bet he could live to be in his 100s. The powers of applied Phlebotinum.

Your post is so long. Shames me...

And as a note, I think I'll be writing in first person from now on. I prefer it, makes it easier for me to write thoughts and feelings.

...people need to state what pokemon they are at the start of their posts, especially their first post *cough* *ysavvryl*

I did indeed state what he was in the first post. Just not in the heading because Miles had no idea what he was, heh. It's called immersion writing. You ought to see what I do when my characters get confused!

@Niihyl: I have Scarmin as 72... well, that SU is going up shortly.

I'm not quite sure how to begin. Do we just pick a legendary Pokemon to go ahead and guide us to one of the areas or do everyone meet at some facility in Aramas first before dividing into groups/squads and branching off?

Well, hopefully what I did in my last post will help guide you along. If not you're not crazy about what I had Mew tell you to do, you could go off on your own or do something different.

How should I begin as the Clan Leader?

Best move would be to consult your mystics and find out where the members of Mew's Crusade are. After all, you don't want us stealing all your glory in the upcoming battle, do you? :p

Yeah, that's fine, no problems here.

Alright, I'll edit Vrax's post tomorrow. I have to change some other numbers, not just age.
