I've recently discovered something interesting - there's something about the cast of the "Pokémon" anime that makes them inherently open for more mature jokes. Maybe it's the fact that the anime wastes so much of its potential. Maybe it's the fact that seeing characters from a kids' show talk about mature subjects is just jarring enough to be entertaining. Whatever the case, I've found that as long as it's not lowbrow or overly graphic and maintains an air of sophistication, it can still be funny. Thus, my most recent series of "Pokémon" fan art.

Now, it should be stated right from the start - this is not, nor will it ever be, a thread containing hentai or any form of pornography. None of these drawings will contain full-frontal nudity, tasteful or otherwise. I have no desire to draw such explicit material. My goal is not to offend, titillate, or arouse anybody, but to make a comment on the inherent adult qualities that surround this children's anime. That being said, I trust that this is within the boundaries of this forum's acceptable material policies, but if it isn't, I'll understand completely if it must be deleted.

All right, with that out of the way, here's the inaugural piece. I got to thinking what it might be like if characters like Misty, May, and Dawn knew about their respective fanbases. An amazing number of fans have crushes on them, often to the point where they'd literally want to have sex with them if they were real people. That's got to be disturbing to hear, especially for characters between the ages of 11 and 14.

Anyway, I really like seeing these little funny parodic jokes of kids shows every now and then. XD

But I do like how you made it with such a good manner. =] Not too explicit and not too innocent.

Wow, it was made perfectly. It's not really explict at all. Very entertaining. However, Haruka's legs are a bit to thick, don't you agree? You should have made them a bit thinner, other then that, it looks really nice.

Hehe, very funny and I dont know why children arent allowed. Actually they belong to the crazy fanbase. The crazy fanbase is obsessed about May`s chest, Hikari`s skirt and Misty`s..... well, I dont know here but probably she has something what makes them horny :p
The picture is good only Hikaris face should be little fatter.

Ah...fan service sure is a great thing, isn't it? Especially underaged loli fan service that 20-year-old men cream themselves over. Good stuff.

I could crit on anotomical problems like May's fat legs or Misty's large eyes, but I know this was meant to be a satirical piece, and for that, it gets the job done.

Yeah, May's legs are a little big, but that may just be the Ken Sugimori influence.

Here's a sequel to the previous drawing. Dawn is particularly disturbed by the fact that her fanbase is laden with perverts, and she seeks expert advice on how to handle it from a similarly sexualized character - the dark, mysterious, and inherently hot Cynthia. Except that Cynthia, with her love of ice cream and other frozen treats, gives her nothing but mixed messages...

No, I just drew it a few days ago. It might be similar to one of my older drawings, I don't know. It's intended to be a comment on how much people seem to love that scene in the Cynthia episode where she's licking her ice cream cone while examining the ruins - if the Anime Picture Caption Thread is any indication, it's a fetish unto itself.

Anyway, here's installment number three, which I drew upon realizing that, out of the regular female characters on the show, Jessie is probably the least lusted after by the fans, despite the fact that she's the only one who's not underage. This got me to thinking that perhaps Jessie is averse to any and all attention that she receives from men, to the point where she actually doesn't want to be sexualized even if the opportunity presents itself. Thus, when a cold crash-landing atop Mt. Coronet leads to an embarassing anatomical problem, James is forbidden from even looking at her.

Thank you kindly, folks. I was a little self-conscious when I launched this thread, but it seems to be going over well.

Here's one I did as a jab at Brock's neverending running gag involving his infatuation with women. I envisioned a scenario where he decides to take a more straightforward approach, but it works just about as well as his previous efforts.
