• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

If you're actively adding new content to the game, that's dlc. My point was that DLC does not have to be what your examples were: Paying some amount of money for them.
Adding data for the theoretical new models and data and items for the new megas would be dlc

You know, I've always wondered if you could just cheat the formes into being usable online. If they work locally, they should have worked online, too; maybe they were only disabled so you wouldn't have to second guess every rotom or whatever.

So I guess all that said it'd make more sense to force everyone to download the thing, yeah. Assuming the groudon/kyogre ... things... aren't just cosmetic &/or if there's actual new megas.

DLC would be nice, as long as it isn't paid. I think you are implying free DLC anyway :p I'm not necessarily against paid DLC in some cases, but it would create unfair advantage no matter how it was implemented if used in a Pokemon game.

I'm really happy there is a worldwide release again, it worked wonderfully for XY. I'm interested to see how ORAS sales stack up against XY sales. There is also the potential it could make nostalgic players who have yet to move to the 3DS pick one up for Hoenn. They might have skipped over XY but get drawn in by this. In fact, I know several people who didn't play XY due to lack of a 3DS who are considering getting one for ORAS. (And not get XY at all, mind you)

Games released at the start of a generation have always sold better than remakes and third versions, since they can sell themselves on providing a legitimately new experience, with a new world, new Pokemon, new mechanics, and so on. The people who would skip XY but pick up ORAS are vastly outnumbered by the people who would do the opposite.

The point is... As GameFreak said "No DLC" I'm sure they mean payable DLCs and not free DLCs. Everything like this could also be called patch. You could call the patch for X/Y DLCs too if you want to use a broad term... It's not like you said. Different companies use different terms for things. Not every company would call something DLC if it's free downloadable.

I think they should add the battle frontier but make it like a gym like it was in the anime and then that would make the game longer and give the player something better to do after you beat the elite four

I think they will update a few mechanics of the Frontier, such as adding Rotation and Triple Battle options to some facilities. I seriously doubt that they will completely change it.

Gyms will be gyms. Facilities will be facilities.

Psyduck is cute <3
Ugh, this means going through Lucy's Battle Pike. Yeah, it's optional, but I like to finish all the facilities for the symbols. Lucy's Battle Frontier was horrible...I have the worse luck in games.

Yes, agreed with you. Triple Battles, Rotation battles and even INVERSE BATTLES can be there. I also doubt they will change the whole thing.

Eh, life is a game.

That was actually one of the best/most easy battle arena with probably the best building shape. I think they should even spice it up some more tbh.

I believe there is no official release date yet. If there was, it should've been on the official websites and dedicated Pokemon fansites.

I think the date you saw is just a placeholder.
But if you think your source is credible, mind giving us a link?

If it's from Amazon. Don't bother. It's just a placeholder. Online retailers always does that with products without release dates.

I know that the release frame is November 2014.

My point is that we don't have any EXACT release date.
That "November 30" is not official and only acts as a placeholder date for game pre-orders.

If an official release date was announced, it should be widely known and mentioned by the fanbase.
