Pokémon on Revolution means...

I wanted to create this to see what everyone thought should be done if/when new Pokémon game(s) come out for the Revolution, based on other home console Pokémon games. I think, to call a Pokémon out, you should have the liberty to, though not the necessity to, use the controller as if you were throwing your Ball. I also think, by using a mechanic similar to temporarily uploading your GBA teams, you should be able to battle online using the Revolution's graphics (and perhaps mic, which I surely believe will be integrated, but that's not for here.) If you have any ideas that may require a special Revmote expansion then please explain these items. As for the rest of you, let your right brain run free!

That is cool, speaking of the Mic. it would be awesome if you could call on pokemon, moves, etc. by voice command on the game. I think the revolution should rid the TV connected consoles of colloseum like games, and make a full fledged RPG like the handheld games.

The games should be like R/S/E/FR/LG. You could hold the controller in one hand, and you can shout the pokemon's name, then the pokeball will appear in the character's hand, thenyou throw the pokeball. There'd be some confusion with pronounciations though.

you could use the mice to give commands to your pokemon, also they could make it look like pokemon colosseum and xd but be in a completely different area to orre and should have a storylone never seen before

Yeah, thats what i've been hoping for, i'm sure they won't however to be honest. But a huge pokemon world where you can actually see the pokemon wandering would be brilliant and battle other players asyou wander yourself, of course a offline single player mode would be nice to have as well. Maybe you'd be able to set up your own pokemon ranches or breeding spots as you progress or something along those lines, theres a lot of potential for a really good mmorpg with pokemon.

GOTCHA!
But if they did the microphone thingy, it would take I long time because they would have to program it from Japenese speech to English speech.

hi 5

They will probly just put a translater in the mic.those cheepskates...

Iiiin any case, I sincerely hope there isn't a main Pokémon game on the Revolution. I love Pokémon because I can carry it around, not because of the flashy graphics and 10 second attack animations.

A MMORPG Pokemon game would be great but it should be more like Star Wars Galaxies as in you could have hundreds of jobs like a Ranger, Trainer, Gym Leader, Breeder ect It'd make the game different and more diverse. Also, they should make 3D Pokemon in Cell Shading. It'd suit it sssssoooooo well as I've always seen Pokemon as a sort of interactive cartoon and the attacks would look AMAZING.

Isn't that the Smogon motto?

Anyway, I really don't see much future for the revolution, especially with a remote for a controller, though it could be useful for some porn but not much else.

I think that Pokemon on the Revolution could have some potential.

I really don't like the 3d games either so far, i'm forcing myself through colloseum so I can get a few pokemon for my handheld games but I wouldn't otherwise. However, I still think a 3D pokemon mmorpg could be really great if they put a lot of time into it. It's hard to think of a game that would be better suited as an mmorpg, i'd even be willing to pay monthly fees which I've always avoided like the plague ^.^

If not they could always do a 2D mmorpg on the DS with the WIFI service, although thats for another topic alltogether.

I don't want a main Pokemon game on the revolution... Because that would take a long time to make, with severe complications to add to the long production time of such a game... However, I think that since games from the N64 like Pokemon Stadium(1 & 2) can be download-able, I think that the Revolution version should NOT use Transfer Packs like the original Stadium(1 & 2) did, because I doubt that the Transfer Packs will be compatable w/ Revolution(since I bet that the Transfer Packs are outdated, since they came out in the N64 days one year before the Gamecube was released, and since the Gamecube was released on November 18, 2001, which was 4 years, 3 months, and almost 10 days before the time of this post's original version was posted, and if you take one year off of that date, you'll get the year when the Transfer Packs were released, although I think the Transfer Pack was released on February 29th, 2000, which is 6 years and almost 28 days since gone at the time of this post's original post date, but yet, when the Transfer Packs came out, the N64 was pretty much dead. Besides, they may not be fully compatable w/ Revolution anyway because of possible coding differences from the old(N64 Old Transfer Pack(which became obselete w/ the dawn of GBA-GCN connectivity in the GCN days)) to the new(Revolution) because of, once again, coding differences: the old models such as N64 Transfer Pack has coding that can handle GB games that only go from 0 to 255 in value of the bits, while compatable w/ a controller that's part of a system that has coding that can only go from 0 to 65,535 in value of the bits when, however, the GCN model's connectivity option can handle GBA games that only go from 0 to 4,095 in value of the bits, while the system can go only from 0 to 1,048,575 in value of the bits, and finally, the upcoming Revolution system can go from 0 to 16,777,215 in value of the bits, but instead, allow the use of R/S/Fr/Lg/Em w/ all 386 Pokemon in those games programmed into the Revolution version's data, so that it will be a fresh game, and change the pokemon to make it more competitive, and that would require an EV system change for the Revolution version, if there is one, so that it would match the EV-system of R/S/Fr/Lg/Em's enough to ever be compatable w/ those games... Gym Leader Castle's no exception for this matter: it SHOULD be updated to include all 386 pokemon...

Yeah it's not as if it would be hard. They made Hey You Pikachu and Pokemon Channel compatable with the microphone, so they should go it with Pokemon Revolution (or w/e it may be called).
