- Move Teacher: Each Pokemon has a list of learnable moves. You need a certain number of other toys who know that move in order to teach your designated toy that move. For example, if Serperior wants to learn Energy Ball, it needs 4 other toys (irrespective of species) to know that move, and you can then teach Serperior the move. This is at no charge, but the Pokemon(s) that teach the move will lose the move themselves. Each attack is different in the number of required toys knowing the move. It seems fixed for each move across different species, like for Giga Impact, 6 toys need to know it, Return requires 5, Strength 4... etc.
Plot:
And so you’ve arrived at Tower Town, the town within the World Pillar, the heart of the Toy World. You take lifts to go deeper and deeper into the pillar. Before you reach your first destination, you find Cobalion waiting for you. You work as a team now, and first go through a few floors infiltrated by the Rust Army, which are not recruitable. Cobalion finally explains everything to you. Apparently, it is a guardian of the World Pillar, and one day finds that it has started to show signs of rusting. The rusting seemed to get worse every day, turning many toys into the rusted state, which Cobalion gathers into an army to find a way to revert the rust. Eventually, it found out that the water from the Light Springs can remove rust, and thus set out to collect all the springwater in an attempt to salvage the Pillar. This, however, failed to work, and the rest is already witnessed by you, where Dark Rust appears to claim responsibility for the rusting.
Cobalion leaves to find ways to defeat Dark Rust, and you challenge both the underground 1F and 2F, where legendary Pokemon start to act as bosses. Grab Charge Flag 3 to beat Reshiram in the Charge Battle, then Cobalion finds you again. Go through the Shaft where another gang of Rust Army awaits, and then arrive at the Bottom of the Pillar, where you will have a final showdown against Dark Rust. There are 5 instead of 4 stages in this Team Battle, and Dark Rust will be fought like any other boss toy Pokemon. However, at first, it often sets up a shield to protect itself, rendering your attacks useless. Once you get him down to 50% HP, Cobalion will use his ways to disable Dark Rust’s shield, and that is to itself and its screw towards Dar Rust. This disables Dark Rust’s power to shield itself, but Cobalion destroys its own screw in the process and ‘dies’, declaring to have sacrificed itself for justice and his calling. You finally defeat Dark Rust, and it crumbles into pieces. All rusting is reverted, and water starts to spill out from every fountain across the land again. This ends Chapter 5 and the credits will start to roll.
After the credits roll, many new things will be unlocked. Each area will start to appear in various areas, mostly the evolved formes. You can now visit the Upperfloor of the Pillar, where the toughest battles of Battle Royale and Team Battles, each labelled EX-1 to 5, unlocked as you go up the ladder of difficulty of course. There is supposed to be EX-6 for both battles as well, but I have not seen their location as of yet. In the center of the upperfloor is a device called the World Rank. By paying large sums of money, you can raise the overall level of Pokemon across the land. There are a total of 10 ranks, but going to rank 2 already requires 1000000P, so you still have a long way to go before getting to rank 10.
