Pokémon Starter Evolutions!

Hey all!

About time for a new picture, no? XD

This picture combines the nine starter evolutions from the Pokémon series from Red/Blue/Yellow to Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. These were all drawn in Photoshop Elements with a mouse. I think my faves have to be the Typhlosion and the Meganium!

Wow. This is pretty amazing. It almost looks like Sugimori art. Very official looking.
Anywho, let's get right down to it. I'm having trouble spotting things wrong, but let's see what I can say so far: The Swampert looks strange. I think it's the pose, but it just looks.... weird... I can't put my finger on it. The Venusaur's mouth looks a tad too small with it open like that, but again; probably just a perspective thing.
I like the daring point of view you used with Feraligatr, and the shading is subtle, yet it gets the job done perfectly, and fits the style well.

The art is rather Sugimori-esque (not that it's a bad thing). I find the Typhlosion's expression to be odd (the way his tongue hangs in the air is like he's going all 'blah!') and there's something really wierd with the eyes on some of them, but - it's always great to see art from ya! ^^
