So, like, is no one going to update the Pokédex list with new names and types and whatnot?

Has anyone actually started on naming the Ultra Beasts? So far, all we seem to have is Nihilego.

And they dropped triple and rotation battles from it. So unless we also get a Maison of sorts, there less to do in the post game facility then ever before. I will definitely enjoy these games, dont get me wrong, but I am a bit disappointed in the post game.

I'm so disappointed. The postgame battle facility only gets worse each time ever since gen 6 :c

Not sure if anyone has done this before me, but I correlated the pokedex entries with their respective pokémon.
Outside of some cool flavor(and all forme variations finally having separate entries, yay) and possible plot details(particularly with the Ultra Beasts) I find it noteworthy that Zygarde 10% and Zygarde 50% are repeated twice. Which would tie into the four blank Zygarde slots(assuming half of them are shiny).

Well, Bewear's pokedex entry sure is.....um, morbid.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed, but food for thought in the script includes dates up to 2021. So perhaps Gen VII is going to last awhile, or they're just covering their bases...

Pretty sure these will just be placeholder dates for the time being, but that is a good catch.

I've been saying this for a while now, but I feel as though Gen VII is a celebration of Pokémon (2021 would take us up to the 25th anniversary, and it would make sense to start a new generation around then as they did with this generation) as a whole, not just Sun and Moon. And a lot of the story and character elements seem to give them room to make Sinnoh remakes, SM sequels/third versions or perhaps even take us to another region/world/dimension.

So long as they learn to actually put some security in their code and not give the game to reviewers who are likely to pirate it it's all good with me.

Been doing some research into Necrozma in the story text, I think I've found some more stuff other than the Dex entry.

1. "Oh ho, how funny you are, [ TRAINER NAME ]! We've caught all the UBs already, haven't we? I'm certain that black refractor that I thought I saw on Melemele was just my imagination!"

Bold seems to be Looker. Italics seem to be Anabel. The key variable was the only thing we really knew about Necrozma that wasn't black: 'refract'.

Could be a reference to a black hole refracting light, because while black holes can't be seen physically, they still give off a certain degree of radiation through space telescopes.

Definitely a touch more black comedy than the games' usual (bleak stuff is usually taken seriously).

The very tragic entries for both it and Mimikyu now leave me almost certain they'll end up the TRio's Pokemon in the anime.

Suddenly the new mons don't look so bad with all these nerfs XD

It's not like it'll affect their viability at all though. Gengar will still be run as a D-bond user, and Talonflame will still use Gale Wings when offensive and Flame Body when defensive.

I'm more interested in what Pokemon are being buffed, if any.

Yup, they're secondary abilites now. Pelliper and Torkoal also get Drizzle and Drought.

Well Gigalith will now be very viable. That's very nice.

Hoping other Pokemon receive the same treatment either moveset wise, stat wise, or ability wise.

Yup, they're secondary abilites now. Pelliper and Torkoal also get Drizzle and Drought.

That's okay(?) for Pelipper. I don't think it'll make it rise in viability too much though. Torkoal having Drought is very nice though, might boost it up a bit.
