Really? well, that's... really underwhelming and disappointing.

Colress, since he has a part in the story, makes since, but Grimsley and Anabel... I barely remembered who Grimsley was, and I completely forgot about Anabel and had to look her up again. Those two were totally out of thin air.

Would have much more preferred they bring back all the Champions, and trainers and rivals like Gold and Silver. Oh well, guess its better than nothing.

yeah it's bordering on nonsensical.

lance, steven, & N all felt like shoes in. It'd be like choosing someone other than Cynthia for gen 4.

Arcanine, Venomoth, and Cloyster, among others, learn Teleport via TM30 in Gen I, which can become Z-Teleport in Gen VII, which fully restores health. These are Pokemon that could not otherwise use this Z-move status effect, so consider carefully who you use the TM30 on prior to transfer.

I still think you can find a niche for midnight lycanroc. Mainly using rock polish, no guard stone edges, with a focus sash and reversal everything. With say thunder fang for coverage, seeing as how were getting so many new water types, or buffing things like mantine and pelipper

Does VGC allow transferred Pokémon as long as they're in the Alolan Dex? Or only Alolan bred ones?

Yeah, I think with the new custom tournaments option there's gonna be more ways you can use your transferred stuff. I mean sure official things are gonna wanna use the new stuff, but it's nice to give bank mons more chances to shine. Considering that's what bringing your old partners should be about

So showcasing non popular trainers over already popular trainers is nonsensical now? Maybe if the pool was bigger so that so that all could have at least 2 reps (that's a separate can of worms entirely) or maybe of they didn't try to do anything at all with the "non-popular" trainers.(but from what I can tell they did at least attempt stuff, only Wally and Cynthia don't have redesigns and Anabel features in the post game as well, if it's executed well" that's a different matter)

After recent stuff like mega evolutions and the like is the concept of attempting to breath new life into neglected parts of some element of the games as well as give new stuff to the popular ones of that element really nonsensical? Though I do get the initial look did kinda imply PWT All Star tagteam edition (or something else like that) and under that context they do look much more nonsensical but that's not what we got imo.

Uh my screenshot of kaphotic's video says that he is Grass/Steel (of course mistakes and new info does happen) and the poster mentions guzzlord as such. He does forget shuckle in at least the water spider evo though (but i was thrown a bit as he does mention shuckle elsewhere)

I did put Guzzlord as the highest of all dark and dragon. But I did forget about Shuckle. Thank you. But according to all videos and sources I have seen, Kartana is Grass/Steel.
