It shouldn't even be a big issue to have a special vendor sell them. Just have them be from Johto and they craft them then sell them for high prices due to being very rare outside of Johto. Like maybe 5,000 a piece.

It was such a tease that the special Pokeball store in Lumiose had all of the apricorn balls on display, but did not let you buy them.

If they return this time, I'd also like it if they got actual animations with them. Right now they just share the Pokeball animation.

Adding to the addition of Hyper Training for pokemon at Level 100. I think the core games also need a specialist "evolution guru" or special item that can allow pokemon that aren't fully evolved but are Level 100 to evolve.

It's an unlikely scenario to ever occur- but some pokemon are recieved through wonder trades and such, unevolved and at maximum level.
It would be a nice way to give these pokemon further potential.

Poor Unfezant. It got that Attack buff in Gen 6, and not much to do with it. Yeah, It definitely needs Brave Bird or Acrobatics or SOMETHING at least (Aerial Ace doesn't quite cut it). I wouldn't mind a Mega Unfezant whose Ability negated the need to charge moves up, so it could unload one-turn Sky Attacks all over the place, but that's probably a long shot.

I'd give Unfeazant (via breeding) Sky Uppercut/Jump Kick, Brave Bird, and Blaze Kick via breeding with Blaziken.

I never understood why Unfezant was made an offensive Pokemon. It doesn't have an offensive movepool, it has a defensive or supportive one. It should have been given a defensive build with high crit moves to help cut through other defensives for paltry damage.

Instead its an offensive flying type with a poor movepool who can't even use the crit gimmick of Super Luck because its only options are Night Slash (an egg move) and Air Cutter (which is weaker and runs off special attack) and on top of all that it got Sky Attack as its big, late game move instead of Brave Bird. For some reason, move tutors aside, GameFreak is convined these 2 are roughly equivalent so if you get one you generally don't get the other. Murkrow, Taillow & Skarmory are the only exceptions; they got both through breeding but don't learn either move naturally.

Jump Kick & Drill Peck, at least, would go a long way.

But it can't breed with Blaziken; they're in different Egg Groups. It can breed with Pokemon that learn Brave Bird, but not a single one that can learn Sky Uppercut (which makes no sense, seeing as it has no hands), Jump Kick, or Blaze Kick. Honestly, like I said in another post, raw power and limited coverage on a Mega Unfezant would work for me, which it could achieve via an Ability that removes the need to charge/recharge.

Light type pokemon obviously!

Hahaha kidding. But seriously I want there to be a lot of Trial Captains like the rumor of 16-18, I want over 100 new pokemon and at least 50 Alolan forms and hoping that the starters have alternate forms. Oh and I'd like to see new Ice and Dark pokemon.

I'm really hoping for some new Ancient Power evolutions. The previous ones are Tangela, Piloswine and Yanma. I think we can do better!

One particularly interesting fact is that Dunsparce learns Ancient Power via level up. Maybe It evolves with Ancient Power into Drampa?

Yeah, no, probably not. I really doubt Dunsparce evolves into Drampa at all, and besides, Ancient Power linked Evos are based off of (appropriately enough) ancient species. Mammoswine is a Mammoth, Yanmega ia a Meganeura (giant prehistoric fragonfly), and Tangrowth is a big, wooly caveman (I could get into the inaccuracy of that depiction, but I won't). Drampa is seemingly based off of one of two dragons from Chinese mythology, so in other words, not a real species of animal, let alone an ancient one.

I still don't understand why people are so set on Drampa being Dunsparce's evolution. The only similarities they have are the Normal typing and maybe color scheme?

They don't even share classification, similar description, or name similarities which most Pokemon from an evolutionary line have at least one or two of.

Not to mention there'd need to be something in between to really solidify a jump from a useless winged snake to a wingless fluffy chinese dragon.

If you wanted to give Unfezent a physical fire move through breeding an easier one would be flare blitz (given talonflame can learn it) but I'd settle for just it getting brave bird or acrobatics.

Yeah i'd be surprised if pokemon based on a creature from Japanese mythology Tsuchinoko like dunsparce evolved into what seems to be a Chinese dragon.

I always hoped for a ancient power evolution of Donphan into a mammoth pokemon given how small it is for an elephant pokemon.

On the subject of changing a pokemon's move sets, I'd like them to make a few additions to Sceptile. About the only moves it ever runs are Leaf Storm, Giga Drain, Focus Blast, Dragon Pulse and HP Fire/Ice which makes it very predictable.
Dark Pulse could be an interesting addition - it gets access to several physical dark type moves like Pursuit, Crunch and Night Slash, so why not give it a special dark type move?
Another option would me Ancient Power. Again, Sceptile gets access to several physical rock type moves, such as Rock Slide and Rock Tomb, so give it Ancient Power. I mean, it is based in part on a Dinosaur anyway (a Dilophosaurus).

Another useful change would be giving Pidgey Air Cutter by level up instead of breeding. Mega Pidgeot is meant to be a special attacker, but training a modest Pidgey can be a real pain as the best special attacks it gets for a long time are Gust and Twister. Air Cutter at around level 15 would be must better.

Air Cutter would go nicely on Butterfree too as the best special flying move it gets is Gust.

My biggest hope is that they dont make the evolutions for the starters look ugly. If i have to keep rowlet and litten in their first forms the entire game I will, but I would rather some decent evolutions.
I also really need a water type pokemon or a pokemon that learns surf (I have 5/6 of my team picked out, and I really am gonna need someone to surf for this game)

HM Moves seem to be replaced by Pokeride, so you can fill that last slot with whatever you want.

But....we already know what the starters final forms are like? You can just decide if you like them or not. I for one think they are amazing, except for the owl with the hoodie which is ugly.

this is a long shot but I really hope we get a new evolution method for pokemon that need to be traded in order to evolve. It's just so much of hassle if you have a whole bunch of them and need to find someone who will trade back and forth a dozen or so pokemon because you don't have a second 3DS with the right game

Are they actually 100% confirmed? I thought they were still considered rumour at this point? Personally I'm not a fan of any of them at the moment. I'm sure if they do get confirmed they'll grow on me.

Not 100% confirmed from what I've heard either. Still to be announced. I'm the same, only Rowlett's potential evo appeals to me.
It would actually be hilarious if they were totally different from what the community currently expects.

It's at least a solid 97%, at least in my eyes. The other 3% being that we get the same starters but with minor design tweaks depending on what stage in development the concept art was.
