Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts. -
Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible -

Thank god the auto-eliminators chose Slowbro, I was so scared they were gonna pick one of the few great Pokemon in this set.
I'll vote Azumarill because I prefer both Mudkip and Vibrava.

Rules of the Game
There will be around 20 Pokémon at the beginning of every set. You will vote off your least favourite, and you will have ONE vote PER ROUND. Breaking this rule will cost you your vote for the round. You may change your vote, but you may only do it once per round, and you must state what your old vote is in the post. Then, the Pokémon who has the most votes at the end of the round is eliminated. All posts in this thread must relate strictly to the current events of the game, and if we deem a post as too off-topic or unrelated, the poster will receive up to a one week ban from the thread.
The Pokémon that wins the set gets added to the Winners Circle! When there are ten Pokémon in the Winners Circle, the same type of thing will happen. Once a winner is decided, it goes into the "Hall of Fame". Once 10 of that is made, it get's added to "Serebii.net Favourite".

Special Rounds
Now, this game would be no fun if you voted off Pokémon the same way round after round. So, there are a few special rounds that get added into the game to make things interesting. Here they are:
Finals - This is when two Pokémon are left. When this happens you have to be clear if you want the certain one to win or lose. If it is not clear enough, it will not be counted.
Twist Round - If one of the owners/co-owners puts in size 5 text, bolded, and underlined anything that has "twist" in its name that means there was the same amount of votes for two or more Pokémon. Then, both Pokémon get eliminated.
Saved Round - Once per game, at a random point, this will occur. During this round, you vote for your favorite Pokémon that is still in and the Pokémon with the most votes will be immune from voting against until the top 3. At the top 3, it will come back, and create the top 4.
Prediction Time - This round occurs during every first round of a set. In addition to your regular vote on who you want out, you predict who you think will win the entire set. If a person predicts correctly, they have the ability to automatically eliminate any Pokémon of their choice until the Top 10 begins. If multiple people predict correctly, they vote on who should be eliminated. You cannot participate if you can predict the future.
Abandon Round - This round can only occur before or during the Top 15. Instead of voting for your least favourite Pokémon, you select your favourite one, and that Pokémon is saved from elimination and cannot be selected by any other voter. When only one Pokémon in the set has not been selected, that one is eliminated. You may not switch your selection.
Countdown Round - This round can only occur during or after the Top 10 because having it any earlier would be a bitch for everybody. During this round, you rank all of the remaining Pokémon in the set from your favourite to your least favourite, and they are given points based on your ranking. The Pokémon that gets the most points is eliminated. Once you have posted your rankings, you may not make any changes to them.

Phases Of The Never Been In Survivor Set
Phase 1 - The original 254 Pokemon will be randomly split into 16 groups, with the first fourteen groups containing 16 Pokemon each and the last two groups containing 15 Pokemon each. From each group, you will vote for the Pokemon that you want to proceed to the next phase. If a Pokemon gets 4 votes, it moves on to the next phase, and a new round is NOT started (ie: a person who has already voted may NOT vote again after a Pokemon gets through). After 4 Pokemon get through, a new round will start with the same group, where people will be able to vote again from the remaining 12 Pokemon. After 8 Pokemon get through from a group, the other 8 (or 7 for the last two groups) will be eliminated and we will move on to the next group. There will be 128 Pokemon left at the end of this phase.
Phase 2 - The remaining 128 Pokemon will all be put together into a Mega Abandon Round. This works similarly to a normal Abandon Round, where you select a Pokemon you like and it is saved from elimination. However, this phase has four methods of voting. You can select 1 Pokemon every 6 hours, 2 Pokemon every 12 hours, 3 Pokemon every 18 hours, or 4 Pokemon every 24 hours. You may NOT switch any of your selections at any time. When there are 32 Pokemon left that have not been selected, they will be eliminated and the phase will end. There will be 96 Pokemon left at the end of this phase.
Phase 3 - The remaining 96 Pokemon will be split into 12 groups of 8 Pokemon. You will give each Pokemon a "1" if you like them, and a "0" if you dislike them. You do NOT have to give an equal amount of 1s and 0s. Once there have been 25 voters, the points will be tallied, added to a final list, and voting will start again for the next group. After the twelfth group is over, all 96 Pokemon will be ranked by the number of points received, and the 48 Pokemon with the lowest number of points will be eliminated. There will be 48 Pokemon left at the end of this phase.
Phase 4 - The remaining 48 Pokemon will be split into 6 groups of 8 Pokemon. You must give 2 Pokemon +2 points, 2 Pokemon +1 point, 2 Pokemon -1 point and 2 Pokemon -2 points. At the end of the round, the 4 Pokemon in the group with the most amount of points will proceed, while the other 4 will be eliminated, and the next group will begin. Have fun tallying this phase, tallyists! There will be 24 Pokemon left by the end of this phase.
Phase 5 - Now that there are only 24 Pokemon left, the remaining Pokemon will be voted out one by one just like a regular Pokemon Survivor set. There will be 1 Pokemon left by the end of this phase.
