But if I had to choose a gym leader from Galar to travel with him, Bea would be fine with me.

I do agree that Pikachu had to naturally be included into Galar, but may I point out that Pikachu was not available in Black & White and apparently even Black 2 & White 2.

The difference of course is Pikachu was programmed into those games, so yeah there's a clear difference in that regard.

They could even have a character like Scott from the Battle Frontier be a sponsor.

All in all it would be more interesting than all the random stuff Ash gets into on his journey that doesn't relate to his overall goal.

Scorbunny may not even be a fighting type and if it is then Bea may still not own one, over the other potential Galar Pokémon that have not been revealed yet. Also if they plan on doing it similar to the DP leader that had Grotle then Bea may not even be a companion.

And also, Gardenia only had Turtwig because Sinnoh's dex was so limited. I highly doubt that Galar's dex is as limiting as Sinnoh's.

It better not be if they are outright excluding Pokemon being programmed into the game, they better be bringing in a hell of a lot of new Pokemon, none of this Kalos or Alola 60ish nonsense.

I don't know, Misty just follow Ash for her bike but ended up forgot all about it(she get her bike back later, at least)maybe they will come up with something weird and funny, Ash might just accidentally break the tomb or something and he decided to follow him and cursing all the way for the whole Galar trip (Me...me curse...you...)

... Just kidding but they will come out with something anyway if they want but i think have Allister around for the whole Galar season maybe a bit scary...

Still think Bea will be Ash companion after all...

I still don't think that Onion is cast member material, but assuming that he might join Satoshi's group, I'd expect him to have the usual type specialist goal of becoming an expert of training one specific type of Pokemon. So he'd probably stick to capturing Ghost-types, unless the writers decide to have him get a few wildcards like they did with Iris for who knows what reason.

Idk tbh which gym leaders can be companions... They are deverse and I dont see Ash travelling with his rival either. Besides we havent seen all the gym leaders yet. (btw in older games were all the gym leaders already revealed in trailers?)

For XY, only Viola, Grant, Korrina, and Clemont were revealed pre-release, although the Anistar Gym was shown in the first trailer.
