Popped in because a little birdy on Discord asked me to.
I really wished people who do not understand Japanese don't try to parse nonsense from Google Translate and then jump to conclusions. お願いだから、止めてくれよ。
Shinohara Takashi was replying to a fan message sent to him via Marshmallow Q@A. The fan enjoys his work on the show and enjoys the art he shares on Twitter. The fan really enjoyed Sun and Moon and is going to miss the series, so much that they weren't sure if they can accept getting into the next series - they don't think they can live without the Sun and Moon series. Shinohara-san basically tells the fan that it's ultimately their decision whether or not they go into the new series right away, and if they don't like it now, they might like it later. Everyone has their own pace, they don't need to get into a new show immediately if they're still sad about the previous one ending. He also provided suggestions to ease the fan's worries and provide them with SM-related activities to enjoy, like watching the series again from the first episode after finishing the finale, to compare the interesting changes in production and story development to how it all ended. And he assures the fan that even after the finale, he/she can draw pictures about what they think the Alola companions are doing, or write about them, etc. with other fans on Twitter and have fun.
They are not talking about the art style. None of that is brought up. Why would it? Next time, ask someone who can understand Japanese to interpret for you. Stop using machine translations.
EDIT: Also, please do not scream in gaijinese at Japanese animators on social media
like this donut. It's super rude, makes foreigners look bad, and is overall not needed. Thank you.
