Pokémon Sword & Shield Team Discussion Thread

I got some idea on a team. I plan to play through Shield. Strong possibility I will be ditching my starter and catching something else to act as my starter. I am having a hard time choosing the pokemon. I like several of the new pokemon.

With the leaks, it is getting harder for me to decide on a full team.
I think I will just post some sort of ranking now for which Pokémon I would like on my team.

Spoiler: Leak Information

1. Inteleon - I'm sure I will keep my starter for my main-game team, and I'm choosing Sobble. Sure, this is only pure Water, but Water may be helpful.
2. Grimmsnarl - This just keeps staying interesting to me. I really like the Dark / Fairy typing, and I appreciate its design.
3. Centiskorch - A Fire type seems like a good idea, and with all the new Bug types, I feel like I must use one. This Pokémon seems like a good choice for both the Fire type and the versatile dual-typing. Also, its design looks awesome.
4. Galarian Rapidash - I am pretty sure I would like to use a new Psychic / Fairy type, and it is between this and Hatterene. I may end up using Hatterelle over Galarian Rapidash (especially depending on their stats / movepools / etc.), but I am not entirely sure right now.
5. Sandaconda - I would like having a Ground type on my team, but with it only being a pure Ground type, I may or may not go with this Pokémon. I do really like its design as well though.
6. Duraludon - If this Pokémon is available early enough, this may be a good choice. There are other Dragon types though, and I may even end up going with Applin's final evolution (or Dragapult - I am just not sure at the moment).
7. Corviknight - I would like a Steel type, and I might go with this if I do not choose Duraludon. The few weaknesses here would certainly be a plus.
8. Grabbloct - This Pokémon being an octopus is just great. Also, this is the only new Fighting type that I am really considering.


Of course this is all still subject to change (especially given any further leaks).

That said the switch gives you 8 save files per game, so I'll have at least 2 playthroughs, maybe more, I've already said that 2 of my sisters can have 2 of the save files but 6 is more than enough. I'm tempted to use one of my save file to have a team of Shiny Eevoultions, I've already got a fair few Shiny Eevees on go that I could move across, via home/pikavee and Home.

Its okay! I only just learned what got axed this morning so I am now cooking through, but i think i want to try them all and see what works !

Most designes are pretty meh for me, so it would be something like this in Shield (hope GTS would be available from the start)

I liked Galarian Ponyta, but Rapidash has some sassy bit*h eyes that ruined its design for me
