Pokémon Tour! I was at one!

Pokémon Tour! I was at one!

Hey, a few weeks back, my Family and I went to Cribbs Causeway, and would you believe it, there was a Pokémon Tour there! It was so cool! We were just walking along when my Dad said: Hey, isn't that a Pokémon banner up there? And indeed it was. It was a tenth Anniversary thing. Strange how all the Tenth Anniversary celebrations are half a year late. *Shruggs* There was a counter where I did a Pokemon quiz, and all sorts of Pokémon merchandice in a glass cabinet, including German versions of R/B/Y! Also, there was a plasma-screen TV which alternated between showing the first Pokémon episode (Pokémon I Choose you!) and the Mystery Dungeon special. There were two tables, one for drawing Pokémon pictures and one for playing the TCG and TFG. There was also a counter where they were giving away all of the ten most wanted Pokémon on to Peoples Gameboys, although I couldn't get any of them because I didn't know the Tour was there and therefore didn't have a Pokémon Game with me. Also they weren't selling anything. But still, it was a great experience to finally visit a Pokémon Tour! Discuss!(and Mods, if this is for some reason considered pointless, feel free to close it, but please tell me why first)

I have always wanted to go to one of those! You are lucky, the closest one to me was about 6 hours away and my parents wouldn't let me go to it!:(

Ah... you experienced Pokemon UK.

I went to the one at Milton Keynes last Saturday and might be going to the Birmingham one tomorrow. Anyways I had a good time and met with a few Serebii users... killerjaw01, RoboRaph and a couple of others. We traded, hogged the demos and had a reall good time... plus I got a shiny Persian out of it.

Thats so cool! The nearest thing about pokemon in Miami is... nothing actuallly. Near here, there arent any pokemon events unless you consider the guys and few girls who gang up to play MD at my school.

Hmmm, now that you mention it, I did see the woman at the counter give a girl a holographic Pikachu card, but it was just one I already had, except with a Tenth Anniversary thing etched on it. Other than that, none that I saw. Anyone have an idea as to why the Tenth Anniversary celebrations are about half a year after the actual Tenth Anniversary? Also, thanks for posting, my threads hardly ever get this much attention!

and yeah, they can be cool,
but the one i went to was poorly organized,
and it is aimed at the kids, complete with a pokemon stage show...

*Shruggs* We like it. But yes, it's annoying that you couldn't vote for Mew/Celebi/Jirachi/Deoxys-I suppose they didn't want to make them 'easy to get'. Pffft...I actually voted on that Ten Most Wanted poll...it was being run from Pokemon.com, that nicely organised, aesthetic, yet unoriginal and fairly boring, with poor info.. Thanks for many posts, keep 'em coming! :)

What do I put here?
I went to the one in Cribbs Causeway too! I went there specifically for the Pokemon event. I brought my gameboy and got Ho-Oh, Lugia an level 70 Latios and Latias. I had to wait in line with a lot of 7 year olds though, which was a bit embarassing.
