Records updated. Thanks to everyone for contributing.
However, I am perplexed by the skill-course. Most ofthen I really don't need skill. Speed alone grants me victory in pennant capture, and the snowball-thing is just impossible for me. I haven't been able to win the course once.

Other courses sre more enjoyable, though. I especially like the strength and stamina courses.

And the prizes are well worth it.
When I first started, the Skill course was the most difficult for me as well. I sucked at everything, but with more practice, I started getting better. Now my highest course score is in skill.

Technically, I think skill is supposed to help in turning in Pennant Capture, but like you said, you can still win without it. High skill also allows you to throw snow balls faster (this can make a big difference) and have better soccerball control.

A tip for Snow Throw: move your stylus straight up when throwing, aiming for the yellow team constantly. My scores started rocketing up when I started doing that.

And the prizes are awesome. I started slowly compilingly Rare Candies, and I ended up with about 49 of them when I found a nice person that traded shinies for candies.

Wow, how'd you get 200 blocks in one event?

Also, how you get 232 points in Ring Drop? I've always thought they didn't go over 200 points.

Also, how you get 232 points in Ring Drop? I've always thought they didn't go over 200 points.

Your score from the event can be over 200, but the number of points you actually earn after the results are shown can only be 200 max (notice how he said "232 points - 200 in total score").

I guess I'll post some of my records now:

Yes, I noticed that. That's what I was saying. When you're actually fighting with the other pokemon, I thought that score could not be over 200. I'll I can go in myself, purposely trying to excede it.

I previously posted the following about the Snow Throw:
A tip for Snow Throw: move your stylus straight up when throwing, aiming for the yellow team constantly. My scores started rocketing up when I started doing that.
Having high skill also helps you throw snow faster.
Circle Push- Try to use pokemon with high power and stamina (speed helps as well), but aren't huge (like the 3rd and 4th gen legendary trios). Unfortunately, luck plays a part, too. Sometimes the '5' circle will spawn in the same place 3 times straight, and others it will be across the ring each time. It's helpful just to try and push other guys off the platform sometimes when they're in the circle, if the circle is near enough to the edge.
Disc Catch: You don't have to have super jumping ability here, really, only decent ability. At the start of the event, position your guys on the left, middle and right (horizontally) on the 3 point line. When discs come move the necessary pokemon back to the 5 point area, grab it, then go back to 3 (so you don't get pushed off so easily). It helps to bump into the other competitors near the back to keep them from getting discs. You might try using a particularly powerful pokemon in the middle for extra pushing power.
Pennant Capture: This is the most inconsistant of all the events; luck plays a HUGE part. For me at least, if there's a rock near the edge, I'm not going to do that well. I usually try to go around to edges and collect flags. I think the times when I've passed 50, I'll get in a groove where I can leave the starting line, go out and around the back and get 9 flags in one pass. So basically you have to get lucky. Sorry.

Can you tell me with what teams of pokemon your scores were obtained?

Guess who!?
I Love this Thread...

...& Pokeathelon Rocks for me!

I have 36 trophies, with just 4 Trust Trophies to go (75 pokes' on all courses, then 100, after that ??.)

Probably my best record is 19.8 laps in Relay Run.
'Bout broke my wrist getting to 134 Block Smashes (how do y'all do it!!?)
16 Goal Rolls for me using the Legend Lugia.
Drifblim Is a GReat bouncer! (Jump Course)

@ folks with help on Snow Throw...try a push-forward motion with your stylus in it like a cheese-grader.

I believe the after that would be 200, but I may be remembering incorrectly.

For the Block Smash, try to have high power & stamina, of course, but skill also matters; it helps you get 'fired up' (or raise the tension, as it's technically called) and you can then break blocks very quickly. Also, don't follow the guy's advice (the one that's in the third room). Unless your reaction is very good, trying to hit only cracks will take too long. I always just tap away as fast as possible in about the middle of the block; sometimes I can easily get tension and sometimes not. Like for the record I posted for the legends, I tried a number of times, and got red fire (or high tension) at least once each time, even when randomly tapping.

Also, if you let me know that teams with with your records were accomplished, I'll gladly include them in the master list.

uuummm i need help getting 55 snowball hits and 50 penants. how do you do that???? anyways:

Hurdle Dash: 87.1 sec (mewtwo, zapdos, dragonite)
pennant capture: 44 (smeargle, suicune, zapdos)
circle push: 66 points: (pinsir, dragonite, ho-oh)

disc catch: 81 disc catch points (dragonair, lugia, togepi)
Lamp Jump: 455 points (mewtwo, zapdos, dragonite)
Relay Run: 17.3 laps ran (mewtwo, Ho-oh, Togepi)
Ring Drop: 156 points (pinsir, gyrados, magmar)
Snow Throw: 55 hits (smeargle, suicune, zapdos)
Goal Roll: 13 points (ho-oh, suicune, moltres)

as for records in courses:

Speed: 448 points (damn that) (feraligatr, togepi, dragonair)

I know for SKILL COURSE, I've always used a Gardevoir, Magmar, & Sandshrew.

And my most well-balanced mix for overall STAMINA COURSE is: Steelix, Seviper, & a Qwilfish. But if I want high on the individual Block Smash I substitute Seviper and qwilfish for Zangoose and Moltres.

Plus as I said before Drifblim is a GREAT bouncer on Lamp Jump, and Diglett/Dugtrio are NOT!

Also I'm in the high 500s in overall SPEED and SKILL courses, when your total points are tallied up with Primo, but in upper 400s on JUMP, the hardest to tally up!

(I'll need to update the records later, probably tomorrow)

I was recently asked for some advice on the Hurdle Dash, Lamp Jump and Pennant Capture. I'll post that here in case others might be curious.

Hurdle Dash- try to use pokemon with 5 orange stars in speed, and try to get them high skill as well (it helps with acceleration). In trying to find what the fastest comp time would be, I found a sneasel (which can easily get 5 stars in speed and skill), when only it was focused on, could reach the finish in 25sec., so a team of 3 sneasel might work (although I prefer not to use more then one of the same pokemon in a team). The jumping part takes some practice; I always try to get extra speed at each hurdle (by jumping right before the hurdle), but that can backfire. The game seems to want to simultaneously send a hurdle at each pokemon at least once per try, so don't risk crashing someone to boost another. Once you reach full speed (after 3 boosts, I think) you can stop jumping close, making things easier. Unfortunately, the game also places hurdles at a jump landing point often, which are seemingly unavoidable sometimes; you'll just have to deal with it. :(
Another tactic you might try, if you're skilled enough, is to use 3 fingers and jump each pokemon separately (instead of moving back and forth with your stylus). I haven't been able to pull this off, but maybe someone else can.
Lamp Jump- my own tactic is to use pokemon with at least 4 or 5 stars in jump. A few stars of skill are necessary so move more horizontally when jumping. Good stamina is also prefered, so you can recover after knocking yourself out. In the event, I try to aim at an angle so pokemon will go up, taking out 1 row of lights, then come down taking out a 2nd (lamps are worth more with each collected during a single jump). I think the best tactic is to do something similar, but have pokemon hit the jumper from below so it'll get more lamps. I've haven't been able to consistantly do this though; hitting the jumper from below isn't easy.

I'd previously posted this on Pennant Capture:
Pennant Capture: This is the most inconsistant of all the events; luck plays a HUGE part. For me at least, if there's a rock near the edge, I'm not going to do that well. I usually try to go around to edges and collect flags. Yeah, Diglett/Dugtrio can't jump at all. It makes sense, because they're in the ground, but I figured they'd be able to get a boost at hurdle jump. I think it'd be funny to use 3 dugtrio/diglett and kill at hurdle jump, disrupt Disc Catch and hope the others guys didn't do well at lamp jump and win the jump course. It might be possible if the competitive bonus was high enough and you were able to get 3 no-misses. I might try that. I think I might have done the Jump Course which 3 Magicarp once, so who knows...

oh ummmm, dugtrio doesnt get a boost. he just goes undeground. i used ho-oh, togepi and mewtwo before, which have:

togepi: 5 sped, 3 skill, 3 jump
mewtwo: 5 speed, 3 skill, 4 jump
ho-oh: 4 speed, 4 skill, 4 jump

Also, I was thinking; since I couldn't really give that great of advice on Pennant Capture, I'd post some teams I did well with:
Quilava, Monferno, Combusken
Grovyle, Flareon, Kirlia
Bayleef, Ledian, Rapidash
Wynaut, Entei, Numel
These don't necessarily hold logic, they just sort of happened; like I said, you need to get lucky a little.
oh ummmm, dugtrio doesnt get a boost. he just goes undeground.
Yeah, I know. I was just saying they should get a boost, since they still have to dodge the hurdles, and can dodge similarly to the others. If they duck at the last minute like the others have to jump, then they should be awarded.
togepi: 5 sped, 3 skill, 3 jump
mewtwo: 5 speed, 3 skill, 4 jump
ho-oh: 4 speed, 4 skill, 4 jump
The jump really isn't particularly important. You might jump over multiple hurdles at once, but I swear birds come down on hurdles just as often as other pokemon. I think the first time I broke 80, I purposely didn't use fliers so I'd have a better feel of how long they'd stay in the air. I used togepi and dratini, and some else I can't remember, I'm thinking nidoran or rattata (something simple and found early in the game).
