Easiniss to use
Pokeball: Just toss a bunch of em until your pokemon's caught.
Capture Styler: Must quickly and carefully make tons of loops around the pokemon with a beam that will be broken if anything but air (or the styler itself) touches it
Reusability
Pokeball: If you use it just once, it's gone forever, even if the pokemon breaks out, and dangitt, pokeballs can be expensive!
Capture Styler: Infinite reusability. If your energy gets low, go recharge the styler by ranger base recharger, an electric pokemon, or by a man in a cabin in wintown, all for FREE
Pokemon's choice?
Pokeball: Once the pokeball closes, that pokemon has to stay with you wether it likes it or not unless you release it (yeah right)
Capture Styler: It projects calming and soothing feelings to the pokemon making it accept its cature so it joins you by choice.
Pokemon Storage
Pokeball: Locked away in a tiny ball or turned into data and put into a computer until it is called out for those oh so short battles
Capture Styler: What storage? The pokemon walk around freely until it performs a task for you, or you release it (in which you're actually LIKELY to release pokemon in Pokemon Ranger)
Pokemon's health
Pokeball: In most cases, you must hurt the pokemon and make its health dangerously low before a pokeball can catch it
Capture Styler: Catches a pokemon full health and CANNOT hurt thr pokemon at all
Finding the exact pokemon you're looking for
Pokeball: Mostly have to walk around in grass for what seems like an eternity until you find your pokemon, and even then, some pokemon can flee, or it might faint.
Capture Styler: All pokemon are always in one spot and you can see what you're about to battle so you can avoid or run right into it, so finding your pokemon is MUCH easier, and if it flees, you can battle it almost immediately after.
Legendary Pokemon
Pokeball system: Catching them is hard, but you get to keep them
Capture Styler: Catching them is hard, but they're automatically released immediately after you capture them! (exept the three Regis, but come on!)
Catchin em all
Pokeball: You must trade with another version meaning you need another game system and the other version, or a friend with the opposite version, and some pokemon are hard to catch, such as those in the safari zone in every pokeball system game are veeeery hard to catch.
Capture Styler: All pokemon are in the one game and even though some are hard to catch and onrly found in safari zone like mini games, they're much easier to get.
Control over the capture
Pokeball: Just toss it and hope it stays shut, that's all you can do
Capture Styler: You're in full control of the capture.
Keeping Pokemon
Pokeball: Once you capture a pokemon, it's yours to keep
Capture Styler: Once you capture it, you may be forced to release it or you may need it for a task, and once a task is performed, its automatically released
Well, so now I've listed those few points, feel free to discuss!
