OK. THanks to all of you who helped before! Now I'll let this thread be devoted to any of you who need help with their Pokedex's. Just Post your troubles and (Most likely) someone will help.

and no, you must CATCH all pokémon from the hoenndex (excluding deoxys and jirachi) to get one of those starters

I have your answers right here. Steven is in meteor falls deep inside. If you find him, he'll battle you. For Chimecho, just head over to that ghostly place near lilycove city called Mt. Pyre. Go into the foggy area and keep looking in the grass there. It's rare so you'll have to be patient. And yes, you are correct about the jhoto starter pokemon. Just complete the hoenn pokedex, then go to Dr. Birch's lab. Talk to him and you'll get to choose one of them to keep.

Chimecho is found at the Summit of Mt. Pyre.

Chimecho can be found at the top of Mt. Pyre (exterior). It's quite rare, so prepare to spend some time...

Chimecho was easy to find, but anyway. How many pokémon have you caught? I have caught 311 (traded from LG, FR, Ruby and XD)

Thanks, what I was mainly not sure about was whether Chimecho was on the outside or not. Currently I have 120, but capturing hasn't been my priority lately. Once I complete the other games I'll start trading.

Yes and it dosen't work on ruby or sapphire just emerald!
