Pokemon Anime Getting Worse?

I think that the anime is getting worse-r by the episode. Its the same old thing: Ash and friends are heading to the next town, they meet a new person or two, they have some sort of problem that Ash HAS to solve, team rocket shows up and get blasted off, they continue on. -.- Before, Ash and co. had much more interesting stories. An example is the group finding an evil trainer that leaves his Pokemon behind because it is weak and Ash saves it. Another example is the group and Team Rocket get shipwrecked and they have to try to escape from the ocean floor. Maybe its just me, but many of my friends think this, too. There were also many cool details in the first few seasons. Instead of just walking on a trail, they are actually in fields or tall grass singing or whistling. It also showed Pokemon in environments suited for them (Grimer in the sewers or Rapidash in a ranch). Now, Pokemon just pop up in front of them. What do you guys think?

BTW, I'm still on the Battle Frontier episodes. I watched one of the D/P episodes, and it seems a bit better (Shinji ).

Interesting theory, and yes your right on most matters.

The fact remains, we still continue watching it regardless of the repetitiveness.

Its sad, but if people find it so repetitive they should really stop watching, and examining it expecting something epic.

I'm not bashing your idea, just the idea that your not the ony one -_-.

But hey, D/P could be more original. I have yet to see it, so I can't comment.

I agree with this too. I also don't like what they'v done to Ash.
Yes, I understand he's pretty much older now, experianced and a veteran of sorts. But I miss that jump to the challenge attitude he use to have, now its just 'shall we help old man Patterson grow new fruits with the pkmn of the day?' kinda stuff. (lol, I kno that made sence)

Basicly, Ash has lost character, he use to be funny and goofy, excited and much more hot headed, now he's just blah, and even when he seems to act like the old days, its as if he's acting (like its being forced out of him)~

I would like the story to focus on Hikari a hell of a lot more for D/P... they have the ability to restart and make a whole new character likeble and exciting.

It does get repetitive in the battle frountier except when he faces a froniter brain. then after he wins he brags about it and obsess about the next one

I thought the Battle Frontier and Hoenn filler episodes were a lot better than the Johto one's. But the main story will always be the same.

some of the Johto fillers aren't that bad but a lot are. I don't watch Pokemon that much, only episodes with gym leaders or ones I rent at video stores, because I don't have cable.

I would actually like to see team rocket disband, maybe even help ash along his journey....cmon for 10 years they havnt ONCE got away with pikachu.
An the eps follow this pattern
Walking, meet new person, maybe ash battles them, team rocket, blast off, say bye, the adventure will continue.....

Yeah its kina getting boring. But the johto fillers wernet that bad. I liked some of them. I did notice this a year or two ago

The show isn't getting bad. I like Hikari and the pokemon and ect. But it's just that the Brock thing is the only thing that stands in my way.

I don't find it boring or repetitive. I actually enjoy episodes where they don't fight gym leaders. I just wish they make more characters where they stay for more than one episode.

Well the battle frontier episodes are alittle repetitive but some like odd pokemon out and time warp heals the wounds are getting alittle bit more original than AG. to tell ya the truth battle frontier for now have more original episodes than Ag and johto and I'm certianly enjoying them. yeah I didn't relize(sorry for the spelling) pokemon was repetitive till this year! cybermew in one episode pikachu has amnesia and joins team rocket for a episode.ep363: a scare to remember

Getting worse. I hated the co-ordinating contests. They were very, very boring. When May and Max left for the new Dia and Pearl Series, I was pleased. Then I found out that
