Calm down bro
6) You must be able to switch in and win 70% of the time or better.. So don't just say "I switch in and use Focus Blast three times in a row".
Consudering Cobalion out speeds and the low chance of a 2HKO, doesn't Cobalion technically win?
0 Atk Gligar Earthquake vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Cobalion: 138-164 (42.5 - 50.6%) -- 1.6% chance to 2HKO
The maximum is 50.6%. Cobalion can get off 3 Iron Heads, which equates to 30%. Add on 50% (again, assuming maximum damage), you get 80% HP gone. Cobalion still has 20% left.
You still aren't doing things in the right order.
Switch in turn Cobalion uses Swords Dance.
Both Pokemon have full HP.
Next turn Cobalion uses Iron Head dealing 36-43% damage to Gligar. Cobalion then loses 10% of its HP due to Life Orb.
Gligar uses earthquake dealing 42% damage.
Cobalion HP: 48%
Gligar HP: 57-64%
Next turn Cobalion uses Iron Head again. Cobalion then loses 10% of its HP due to Life Orb.
Gligar uses Earthquake dealing 42% damage again.
Cobalion HP:-4%
Gligar: 14-28%
Result: Gligar wins.
No one said Cobalion has to SD. It's optional. Cobalion gets off 3 Iron Heads before Gligar can EQ twice. Cobalion is faster than Gligar.
