Holly looked into Jack's eyes as he held her. Smiling, she silently leaned forward, kissing his forehead, and cut off the shower. Something did not feel right. This was definately something they werent ready for. They hadnt even known each other for that long yet...

Looking up at Jack as she stepped out of the shower he joined her and the two grabbed a towel. Holly wrapped one around herself and began to open the door before she turned around. Jack stood at the foot of the shower smiling at her as she left saying, " Thanks Jack..."

She closed the door behind her and allowed Jack to take his shower. With a long sigh, she began dressing herself and toyed with her wet hair. After she had dressed, Scarlet came up to her and rested her head in her lap.

"Nine..."

Holly smiled and patted her head. ' That was so close' she thought...' We were so close..." She blushed at the thought and focused her attention back on Scarlet.

To be honest, Holly was quite proud of Jack for asking that question. 'Should we?...' It really showed how much he really cared... Most guys wouldnt stop to ask in a situation like that. But he did. She eyed the door smiling once more as Breeze sat beside it, loving the moisture from the steam under the door.

It meant a lot to her that it mattered to Jack. Quietly the shower turned off and Jack stepped out of the bathroom with wet hair and a towel. Holly turned around as he dressed himself.

Suddenly he came up behind her, fully dressed, and kissed her cheek.

" Do you think we should start to head down to the stadium?" He said with a wide smile. Holly, along with Scarlet and Breeze, stood at his side. Jokingly as she walked by, she pushed jack onto the bed laughing and she ran out the door.

" I'll make it there before you!!!"

" Oh no you wont!!" He sat up and chased after her, and they were on their way...

OCC: *falls over* Im not sure if u wanted to head to the stadium yet but if its too early we can just chill out there for a while. But i'll be gone Thanksgiving break so I wont be able to post for a while. (sunday). Happy Thanksgiving to all!

INC: Alexa threw out her next pokeball, “Go Ivy” She yelled, light erupted from the ball and formed into an ivysaur, Jacob was surprised *Why would she choose ivysaur its weak against donkarasu! Alexa smirked, *Must be stronger than it looks , Mr Richly placed the mike up to his lips “Donkarasu v ivysaur, let the battle begin” He yelled into the mike. Ivy shook its back unleashing a storm of leaves and launching them straight at Kir (the donkarasu), Kir smirked and flapped its wings instantly dispersing the leaves, Jacob grinned, this was going to be an easy match, “Kir use the terrain to your advantage, fly under the battlefield and attack it with wing attack, from all sides!” Jacob ordered, Kir nodded and flew under the stage, Ivy began to panic and looked round stage wondering where the attack would come from, Kir appeared right behind Ivy and quickly flew across the stage, striking Ivy with its wing as it did, it then quickly flew under the stage again, Ivy began looking around for where Kir would appear next “Ivy! Listen for your opponent and charge a solar beam!” Alexa ordered, Ivysaur began charging sunlight as Kir appeared behind her again, she turned round and unleashed the beam at Kir “Dodge right Kir!” Jacob ordered, Kir quickly veered to the right and carried on towards Ivy as the beam ran out “Peck attack” Jacob ordered, Kir obeyed and lunged at ivy, Ivy gulped and began to run away but Kir was too fast and caught up plunging its beak into ivy’s flower, Ivy carried on running taking Kir with it, Jacob sweat dropped “Kir you hit it you can let go now!” He said, he then caught sight of Kir’s face, it looked distressed, Jacob suddenly realised what had happened “Its stuck!” He yelled and ran after ivysaur, who was still running around like a headless chicken, Mr Richly glared at Jacob and said sternly into the mike “If you interfere with the match you will automatically lose!” Mr Richly warned, Jacob glared at him “Fine I Quit! I won’t let my pokemon suffer!” He said, running other and prying Kir from ivy’s back. Mr Richly sigh and held his hand to the left, where Alexa stood “Alexa wins!”

Dait (Phanpy) had began to run back and jumped into the air before forming a sphere. It had begun to use its Rollout. As it sped towards the water its speed increased heavily and even managed to be spinning fast enough to hit a small wave in the shallow water and launched into the air. Dait smashed into the Tentacool that had trapped Nicola. She feel from the rock and landed into the water. Dait had been recoiled back to the sand whilst Nicola ran back through the shallows. The Tentacool rose back from the water shooting a Poisonsting towards the Phanpy. Like it did whilst using Rollour it curled up into a ball. The stingers simply bounced off the Phanpy's skin. Once again it began to spin and this time smashed the Tentacool head on knocking it back. The Tentacool sunk under the water before a flash appeared under the water. Four tentacles shot up from the water where the Tentacool had sunk and wrapped around the Phanpy. A large blue and red helmet like creature, much resmebeling Tentacool, shot up from the water. "Oh sh*t! Tentacruel!" Nicola shouted whilst her Phanpy was being crushed int he tentacles. The large squid lifted up its front large stinger and shot several bubbles at the Phanpy at a huge amount of force. The Phanpy was knocked out of the tentacles and flew towards the sand. Nicola caught it but was knocked backwards. The Tentacruel once again lifted its front stinger and launched a bubblebeam at both Dait and Nicola. Both were knocked back and hit the ground hard. The impact of the bubbles and the girl and her pokemon caused a small explosion.

Jack and Holly neared the stadium, the large, grey mass to which, Jack thought sadly, that they would have to battle each other soon.
They continued to walk along the path in silence, both feeling what the future held for them. The tension was tightening with a vice, and Jack’s hands began to shake, just a little, but increasing as they walked closer. Jack glanced at Holly, who was walking slightly ahead of him, her head bowed, and scarlet walking lightly and quietly beside her, as if she was contemplating what seemed like life in general.
Jack looked upwards, in some vain and desperate hope that he wouldn’t have to do what he had to. Jack let his gaze drift into reality and saw that the earlier gloomy skies had now drifted to a sunshine and clouds state, with dark looking storm clouds off into the distance, going out to sea.
Jack felt a familiar weight settle on to his shoulder, the beautiful bug pokemon, his first, his special pokemon, sit quietly on his shoulder, feeling his discomfort, and rubbing herself against the side of his head.
Jack couldn’t resist smiling, which soon turned into a grin, followed by laughter. Jack brought up his hand and affectionately scratched Breeze’s chin. Hearing his laughter, Holly and Scarlet turned around, and they both simultaneously smiled at the happy pair, but her eye contained a determined look.

The Stadium was aroused with laud and deafening cheers, and Jack and Holly emerged unnoticed in the stadium to see the crowds looking at the various gigantic plasma screens. Jack wondered why they weren’t looking at the battlefield when he faintly heard Holly gasp with shock and pointed upwards. Jack followed the line of slight upwards and upwards until he saw it.
A…. Floating battlefield.
Jack just stared in shock. It was…unreal, being supported by 4 huge balloons. Jack noticed a bird, more precisely; a Donkarasu dive expertly underneath the stadium and, Jack glanced over to the large screen and saw the Donkarasu peck Alexa’s Ivysaur and…Jack hid his face in his hand sadly. The black bird pokemon had got his beak stuck in Ivysaur’s flower and was struggling desperately to escape while the panicking grass pokemon ran around in circles in a frenzy.
At this point, Jack realised that Mr Richly was refereeing the match and Jake began arguing him. He seemed to be stressed (from the plasma screen) out and trying to let Mr Richly to let him do something. Then Jake’s face seemed to scrunch up for a moment and then Mr Richly paused in shock along with Alexa. Then Mr Richly slowly brought up the microphone near his mouth and said simply, ‘Alexa wins!’

Jack felt the crowd begin to murmur in shock as they watched Jake run up to the Ivysaur and attempt to detach his Donkarasu. Alexa, seeing that he was struggling, ran up to her Ivysaur to help him.
During this time, the battlefield had been lowering and Kir’s beak (Jack remembered the nickname of the crow-like pokemon by this point) had been gratefully set free. Jack heard the crowd around him half-heartedly cheered for Alexa and Jake as they walked off the stage, but a thought smashed though and Jack realised with a start that he was going to battle next! Jack turned around and grabbed Holly’s arm and as she glanced at him, she thought the exact same thought as he did and she let of a small gasp, to which Jack nodded and they ran back inside the stadium towards the entrance to the battlefield…

OCC: a short post so meta can post the battle

Jacob sighed, he had lost the match but at least Kir was free, holding the bird pokemon in his arms he walked down to the pokemon center, he quickly handed over the bird along with all but one of his pokeballs, he then made his way over to he pay phone.

"Hello oh Jacob hi!" said Professor elm as he appeared on the screen, Jacob waved "I've got a haunter I want to trade" Jacob said, holding up the pokemons pokeball, "What can i get in exchange?" Professor elm took out of a little book where he kept note's on who wanted to trade something for something "Ahh here we go," he said pointing at the page "Young Joey wants to trade a ponyta for one" Jacob grinned *anythings fine as long as i get rid of this thing* he placed his pokeball in the solt at the side of the phone and pressed the trade button, the pokeball vanished and appeared on the screen, the siloete of haunter appeared on screen and when past a ponyta a siloete, the pokeball reappeared back in the slot. "thanks" Jacob said ending the call, he picked up the pokeball and grinned

Jack and Holly found themselves in the tunnel that led out to the battlefield. Somehow, they found themselves stopping simultaneously and Jack saw that Holly was looking at him, to which he lowered his gaze. A moment of passed, the silence saying unseen words for them as they stood. They both dimly heard Mr richly on the microphone explaining some things about the next battle. The battle between them both now.
It was Holly who broke the silence, which surprised Jack.
‘Shall we?’ Jack knew what she meant and nodded, more confidently than he felt and the both strode out into the bright light of the battlefield. A brief look passed between them, re-living memories from a few hours ago before Holly turned, a little reluctantly, and walked quickly over to the other side of the battlefield and up onto the Trainer’s platform, to which Jack did as well. Jack could see Holly quite clearly and he could see she looked nervous from the crowd and the prospect of battling me. But then again, thought Jack, so am I’.

Jack looked across to see that Mr Richly was refereeing this match as well and saw him whip out a remote control and point it at the battlefield beneath them, which made a groaning sound and the floor opened to reveal the battlefield, which was a grass field, lots and lots of tall grasses, so that the pokemon would find it hard to see, along with a few trees. Jack sighed inwardly. This will be hard thought Jack.
