Well I have to say I am glad I was on Vacation for a few days and missed all the " WHEN R WE GETTING LEAKS!" "I WISH WE HAD THE LEAKS ALREADY! IM IMPATIANT!! ARGG!" talk.
But cool too see alot of new info..so here I go with some thoughts.
-The two new "rivals" are interesting. I like how the Professor gives you all three starters and you have to share the other two with your "friends".
- N seems like a much better villain. Based on the description your character seems to have known him before the events of the game (though maybe I am not reading that right). He also seems to become obsessed with his ideals of separating pokemon and people, much like Silver or Cyrus did with thier ideals. Overall I think he will make a good villain, though I wonder if the Team Plasma stuff was true.
-Triple battles seem to have more of a strategic purpose, which should make the gameplay of them more interesting. Perhaps that will shut up the people who whine about pokemon being the same old thing over and over, but I doubt it. Overall they seem alot better than I originally thought, not just something that was tacked on like Double Battles.
- The fact that there is version exclusive locations , I find really awesome. Also the fact that they are Black City and White Forest seems to suggest that this game will have a theme of Synthetic vs. Organic, or Humanity vs Pokemon as already hinted apon by N.
Now for pokemon..
- Kibago looks awesome. It seems to be the Pseudo legends first form, though that is confirmed yet. Not sure if Ononokusu is related or not, but it is possible.
-Koromori reminds me alot of a Kuribo from Yu-gi-oh. Don't misunderstand me, I didn't say they ripped it off, just saying it reminds me of one. I am interested in its evolutions if it has any.
-Minezumi is our new rodent. I am curious to see what it evolves into. Maybe a Normal/fire (only because of the eyes). Would I be mistaken in saying it is a Gopher or a Prairie Dog? It looks like one, the species of "lookout pokemon" suggests this too.
-Wargle is awesome looking. I don't think this evovles from Mamepato, thought that remains to be seen. Perhaps this gen will bring us more than one regional bird. Also that new move is epic.
-Rankurusu and Gochiiruzeru I'm glad we have names and types for but other than that I still think they are mediocre at best.
-Musharna is interesting. Debunks that Munna to Drowzee rumor. The smoke thing is interesting.
Other stuff-
-I LOVE that you can trade from the PC box. Awesome addition.
-The C-gear seems great from all the stuff revealed.
-The dream world sounds interesting and will probably take the place of the Pokeathalon.
All in all cool info. Cant wait for next months corocoro, by then it will be august and we should know alot more.
