Pokemon: Blissful World

Slipomatic

Eon Collector
Mine works, though I did kind of forget about the flying abilities (aside from being able to fly for a short time.)

Morgie04086:

* Detect: The user wait for an attack to come within an inch of themselves, and using rapid reflexes, dodges the attack completely, at the last possible moment. Very useful for surprising enemies who fought they’d won.
Focus Energy: The user stands still and calm for a second, thinking as hard as possible on attempting to become stronger, more powerful, good enough to win…The users physical strength then doubles for the duration of their next four attacks.

Alright cool. Those seem to fit the bill. I completely forgot about defensive/stat abilities. My mind must have been focused on attacking when I was working on my SU.

OMG! It’s the first ever Rolin Character. Hopefully, it gets accepted.

Name: Heather Lumineux.
Age: 13
Sex: Female
Hometown/Area: Rolin City.
Chosen Pokémon: Minun.

Appearance: Well, let's see... She stands at about 5"4 and owns a rather skinny build, though rather flexible to perform amazing gymnastics to support her pals. Her build looks very delicate to others but indeed, when they see her flexibility, they sure will be surprised. She owns wonderful eyes, rather big, but not too big, maybe a tiny bit bigger than most ordinary eyes. They are an emerald green in colour and they seem to sparkle on certain occasions. Her nose is slightly flat, similar to that of Noodle’s (Her minun) but is the same colour as her skin, not a black colour. Her lips are slightly curled upwards, because she is nearly always happy, just like Noodle.

She has long, curly hair reaching just past the shoulders.. Many people are fascinated with this and of often ask her, her secret, desperate to know. She always replies with an 'It's extraordinary' referring to her skills. She had known about her skills since she was twelve, as her parents told her of them and then they paid the price when she performed. Check that story out in History. Whenever, her hair gets in the way of an activity, she will tie her hair in a neat bun and then cover that up with a green sun hat with an artificial Sunflower sticking out, not with the stem but just the flower. She can't help if a few hairs escape from her hat and that is that.

Her clothes. Well, there consists of three main pairs of clothes she wears. One for whenever it was hot, one for whenever it was cold and the other for jogging and disguising ;). Whenever it is hot, she wears a short sleeved shirt, a charming shade of pink and has the picture of a sun smiling with a white mouth. It was one of her favourite shirts and it was accompanied with black jeans, just a little loose but to prevent them from falling she wears a pink belt, and nothing more.

Her cold outfit. She wears a similar shirt to her Summer Outfit but it's a Long Sleeved Shirt, a shade of sky blue and has a picture of a Snowflake, smiling. Whenever it gets extremely coat, she wears a thick brown coat, preventing the coldness from getting to her. Her pants are tight brown jeans, fastened with a brown belt. A plaid brown belt. And her jogging outfit was simple, a plaid white shirt with her name at the back in pink glitter. It was made by using normal glitter and some of her extraordinary power. Just check out History to find out how. And she wears the usual, ordinary pants she uses for school. Yes. It is then completed with a blue wig, straight and longer than her own hair. That almost- WAIT! Her backpack is blue and has the picture of an Articuno on it. She keeps all her clothes in there along with some food and when she enters the town again, she hides Noodle in the bag.

Personality: Well, she has two sides really. The side which is true her, the her that she actually is and take other side which is just an act. She knows this. And she means to do this. All you need to know is in History. The History reveals her secrets and everything. Well, let's see, her true side, is sweet, very sweet, smiling all the time, cheering for others. And well, she's loud. Whoops! I made a mistake. She's LOUD. Trust me. If she and an Exploud would have a competition on whose voice is louder, she'd win. She can never keep quiet for a minute. She must make some kind of sound.

Normally, that side of her, the true happy one, will she use outside of Rolin, in the forest she lives in where her Minun runs wild. Here, her spirit is free. Being banished was great for her but she needed to have some home comforts whenever she felt she needed, so she needed to return to Rolin at times to gather her needs. Then, shall she need to disguise as the ever friendly, 'Rita Sleeter' the young girl who loved to jog. He he. Then, she'd act totally different. She'd be the friendly girl who greeted everyone with hellos and never spoke too much with the local people. She had learned to keep quiet and perhaps, no one would know of her other identity.

Whenever someone offered her a long talk about whatever, she'd always find some sort of excuse. I'm in a hurry. Granny's got the flu! or Sorry, Mummy wants me home soon! and sometimes perhaps, Mummy told me not to talk to strangers! Sometimes, the other person would giggle and let her be off and then she would run away but sometimes people would take this as an insult. Or maybe something more fitting, the Stranger Comment would insult people and thus those people will get really angry with her. Heather always hated getting into trouble and would run away and if they chased her, she'd run even faster and would quickly buy everything she needed. As the forest, was just outside the city, no one would come to get her if she uses even one of electrical enchantments.

Time for briefing.

And so, 'Heather' is a happy go lucky girl who talks a lot. 'Rita' is a not-so talkative girl who hates long conversations.

History: The moment you've been waiting for. DA HISTORY!

We'll start to when she was born and all that. Thirteen years ago, on May 12th, in some random hospital she was a petite little mademoiselle, who was all wrapped up in a pink blanket, lying on a comfortable bed. She giggled. The nurses around her enjoyed the laugh of the mini-her. She kept a picture of her when no tragedies met her way yet. It was kept in her backpack. Heather had always dreamed that it would continue. Sigh… Things started going bad when it was her birthday, her 12th to be exact.

There she was, a skinny young girl of twelve, holding onto a small sun hat. She had eyes which were filled with curiosity, wondering what was going on. Her parents hadn’t wrapped anything particularly. Her parents had mentioned a talk…? They had told her that it was fascinating beyond any gift. She doubted that. Heather was told to wait for her parents in the dining room. She waited. Her close friend, Noodle was there too. Her parents had specifically mentioned to bring her. Yes. They had pointed Noodle out as extremely vital for the conversation to start. Why was something beyond her knowledge, but she would soon find out. Soon. She heard a gentle tap behind her. She looked behind to see the figure behind her.

Sigh… It was no one. Just Linguini, her mum’s Raichu who was munching on a delicious poffin. Was he purposely meant to be here? For the conversation? She shrugged and waited; now sitting on a chair. Soon, she was joined by Sketch, her father’s pet. Why on earth were they here? As she was wondering her head off, two tall figures came. One a brown haired man wearing glasses. Next to him, was a splendid woman wearing a gorgeous red gown, her hair untied and wild. It was long, passing her shoulders, right near the tips of her fingers. These were her Mum and Dad and they were holding with them a picture book.

This was weird. Three creatures, three humans and a picture book. Indeed, it was weird. Then, her parents started to talk about these weird celestial beings having war, a death of some space creature, then of two wishes. She wasn’t really paying much attention, just thinking about these weird crayon drawings in her head and that was until… Her parents mentioned special effects that humans had and before her parents could explain the most important law, in Rolin, she summoned a blue bolt of lightning from her hands, burning a table to crisp. She smiled sweetly to her parents but they had worried expressions on their faces. She began to wonder why but soon enough she got her answer. Men in purple robes along with several spirits of theirs arrived.

Her lovely dad and her gorgeous mum were pinned to the wall with a magnificent force. No! No! She panicked. This couldn’t happen and without a second thought, she pointed her fist at one of the wizards. Stars whizzed out of her hands, a magnificent blue colour and they exploded on the dark figure. The guy fell to the ground, unconscious. One of the wizards glared at her and pointed his index finger at her. She was scared and all of a sudden, she was teleported to a kind of dark alleyway.

She was scared. She called Noodle with a tiny whisper and surprisingly, he appeared.

“Oh! NOODLE!” she started and then began hugging him, “What will happen to my parents?”

Her mind was boggled, her head was spinning, she couldn’t focus properly, everything was a blur, nothing made sense, nothing at all made a single bit of sense! She felt dizzy and just couldn’t seem to stand the pressure and fainted right there on the spot. Noodle looked worried and felt a little dizzy too. The number of events that were happening to her, he knew well that her trainer wouldn’t be able to handle them too well. He slinked off looking for help. He scurried off, up onto a telephone wire, absorbing some electricity before going off.

Luckily, a friendly hobo, yes, ya heard me, a hobo noticed the body on the ground. At first, he thought the body was a corpse and felt pity for her. He let loose a moment of silence before noticing her pulse. Her pulse was slowly beating. She was still alive. The hobo smiled. The girl still could venture the world. He had to help. Indeed he had to. He murmured a single word. Kadabra [I/] Soon, a shape materialized in front of him, a third figure having a rather long moustache and held two maracas, one in each hand. He murmured even a few more words. Kadabra held Heather closely with one hand, looking at her features before transporting to the forest where she had learned to grow up in.

When the young maiden was still unconscious and when the Kadabra returned back to his master, the psychic pokemon was given yet another task. He had apparently received it an hour after he had sent Heather. His next task was to hand the girl over her essentials and he was informed to use his psychic powers to find where she actually lived. Having no choice, he nodded his head. The Kadabra closed his eyes shut before teleporting back to the girl. With his magical fingers, he stole an essence from her brain, the memories of her old home with her parents. And with that, he teleported to the exact address and there did he get all those clothes, put them in a backpack and gave them to her.

Then, bla bla bla, Heather lived her double life as her food resources given to her by the Kadabra were nearly finished.

Skills: Gymnastics and has marvelous flexibility. Hiding along with acting is also a specialty of hers.

Abilities:

Blue Spark
- Heather is able to summon a blue spark and randomly send it to someone or something. She has taken this attack to a whole new level and may now attack something three miles from her as long as she focuses. Lots of focus has to be taken and if she is feeling dizzy, the attack shall attack something random near her. When used physically, she gets better results.

Swift Discharge
- One of her most powerful attacks. Electrical stars whiz her hand at her own command. They are usually very accurate when blasted from a distance but isn’t so accurate if the attack is used in a physical way. But is rather effective if used that way.

Helping Cheer
- Creates pom-poms using sparks from cheeks. The pom-poms are said to be able to strengthen other the person being cheered in every stat. If used too much times in a single battle, Heather will grow weaker.

Other: *Shrugs shoulders* Oh! I know! Heather has a fear of Psychic People/Pokemon and hopes to find her parents.

RPG Sample: Giggle. Giggle. A young figure wearing a sunhat could be seen chuckling quietly, gazing upon some kind of living thing up in the trees. Sometimes, the young lass would stop and wave at the being in up above. Life was wonderful out in the wild life. Especially when you had active partners. The creature being observed in the vegetation somersaulted down to the ground upon the young maiden. It revealed itself as a Minun, a little mouse filled with Negative Electricity.

“Noodle, that was a wonderful performance,” she giggled, stroking his ears gently, “Oh, you seem to be a little tired, aren’t you Noodle? Need a boost?”

She gave a huge grin as the little furry thing hopped up and down passionately, his beady eyes filled with bliss. He cutely posed, head tilting to one side. She couldn’t resist the temptations. No way could she reject those eyes. They were too sweet, even thought two negatives were supposed to repel, they were attracted to one another. She embraced the creature in a holding hands ceremony and blue sparks traveled from her hand. Slowly the crackled making their journey. As the sparks met, Noodle felt a small tingle crawl his arm and when it reached his cheek, he felt the sensation to cheer.

It took place for ten minutes, the two humming tunes as they waited for the process to finally end. Happiness took place between them just like a close pair of Bearer and Spirit should have. She couldn’t believe why the ruler of her country would prevent this from happening. I mean it taught us, humans about love, about responsibility, friendship and probably a whole lot more of things. They enjoyed these close times together where they could relax. Just Bearer and Bear-ee.

She felt perfectly fine under the shade of their friendship, cool as a cucumber. Her eyed looked around the area. Everything seemed to be peaceful. She saw a tree. Another tree. Another tree. Bush. Tree. Bush. Spoink. Tr-? SPOINK!?! She felt several shivers appear on her back and all of a sudden she found herself screaming as she tried to run away from the little pig pokemon. She tried to hide behind a tree, scared, hugging a bush near it. Noodle looked ready to attack, blue lightning bolts appearing from his cheeks. They were on their full power after the recharge.

The pig pokemon looked panicked and when it felt a taste of a Spark from Noodle, both its and a boy’s scream rose into the air. This was no ordinary pokemon. It was a spirit. Quickly Noodle sped up into the tree. Spoink lay on the ground hurt. A boy came running clutching his arm which seemed to be burnt in some way. “I know you’re in here somewhere!!” he screamed angrily, his voice on its most dangerous. Heather lied close to the ground. The kid kept shouting and booming and yelling. He even swore at the top of his voice wanting to get his revenge. Heather lied closer to the ground. Maybe this was it. Was her secret going to be discovered after all this time!?! No! But Psychic Wizards were capable of anything! But luckily, due to the injury perhaps he didn’t search and went home.

Heather came out of her hiding spot after she was sure that no one was there but Noodle and wild pokemon. Phew. “You okay, Noodle?” she asked, panting to her heart’s content.

Noodle gave a ‘thumbs up’ and did a little cartwheel and then ended up snoozing when he crashed into a branch which sent him flying into Heather’s hands. They would live their secret life for another day. She smiled and rested on the ground, finding herself, soon, like Noodle peacefully slumbering. Happy thought were roaming in her mind just like what happened to her years ago and seemed like centuries to her. The childhood Rolin had taken from her settled in her mind hoping to lay eggs of good dreams for Heather, and Heather only to dream about.

First thing, you're character knows your partner Pokemon. Extremely well. At This Post, I stated all new sign ups would not know their partner Pokemon. Read the whole topic please before making a sign up. -_-

Right then, your appearence and personality are fine I suppose, but it's the history that I really worry about. Firstly, regardless of the fact they don't believe in abilities, Pokemon are not allowed as pets. Anywhere. They wished for freedom in the legend, and as such, they can not be captured, contained, or enslaved by any human. Secondly, humans have forgotten completely about the legend; they believe in no gods, celestial beings, anything. They do know about abilities however, so the parents may well have told their child. Next, why on Earth would the psychics then evacuate Noodles after her, even if it could be a pet? It didn't do anything wrong. The Tramp shouldn't know his partner, so he shouldn't be able to summon it. You make it seem as if the Kadabra is a slave, and that it had 'no choice' and refered to the spirit partner as his master. Pokemon are not slaves, they most likely do not know their partners, and they don't have to do anything.

Ability wise...Her moves are quite powerful, almost overpowered to be honest. An electric move that locks onto the opponent three miles away and hits them? How on Earth can she see that far anyway? The amount of focus, skill, and power to do such a move at such a length would be fairly immense, to be honest. The next move isn't overpowered as much, but confusing, really. It's more accurate at a distance, yet less acurate at close range? Hang on, you're telling me that if I stood right next too someone who then used a move in my face, it would be more likely to miss than if I was say, ten meters away? If so, then I must have a pretty bad idea of fighting. Third move needs clarification; how high is each stat rasied roughly?

Apart from the fact you know your Partner, the sample is decent roleplaying, until it gets to the bit with Spoink. Can I just make it clear that if the plot didn't make it clear enough, all Pokemon are Spirit Pokemon. Not just the occassional half dozen, all of them. The Pokemon Population is exactly the same number as the human population, and they can't be born without one of the other species being born. It's an uncontrollable fact.

That's all I can think off...so, Pending, though quite a lot of it will have to be redone.

Right then, The Discussion Thread will hopefully be posted today. I realise I haven't finish my Sign Up, but other things have managed to get in the way. I will hopefully finish it today or tommorow, and the RP Thread should be posted around Friday if we're lucky. I'm still allowing Sign Ups after the RP starts, though, so don't worry people.

Oh my word Handy, this is Kuno awesome. (I'll type a sign-up when I have access to an actual computer instead of an iTouch.)
A QQ, If one's partner had been a Sableye, would you think it be fair to have a good access to abilities to each type? Like saying the RP character had discovered the could phase through walls, but could also Shadow Sneak?

Handy?

It's that one guy
Well, considering you have three abilities that are your choice, you do have the option of having both of them, yes. Although they'd still be considered different moves, I'm afraid.

And no, it's not Kuno awesome. Only Kuno is Kuno awesome.

It's almost there. Another question, does Relgran, or any other cities have theatres for musical performances, plays, etc.?

I'm readying my sign-up, getting my idea's on the computer... so it should be ready later today. Oh, and if I am accepted, eventually (we have to meet our partners someday) it will involve copios amounts of the Nincada evolutionaly line...

I intend on making my partner a Nincada. It will "talk" about how much being a Ninjask will rock. Then, JUST as it evolves, it is hit by an attack and dies. Before I die, the burnt shell of the nincada becomes a Shedinja. And we all know what the sub-type of Shedinja is...

Well, I haven't had the ability to get on a comp, so I'll just sign up anyways as I am quite eager to see this get off the ground. ^-^

Name: Diégo Ombré
Age: Fourteen
Sex: Male
Hometown/Area: Twilight Town, Sabian Island
Chosen Pokémon: Sableye
Appearance: Diego is of an average build. He stands at approximately Five feet and Six inches, with a stomach width of any average athlete. His arms are bony and thin, and his bones poke his skin out dramatically. He is developing stronger arm and leg muscles, which are becoming noticeable. His skin is a light bronze, and on his arms and legs is coated with thin hair.

His face is the shape of an oval, it is a little bit long and a little bit thin. His almond shaped eyes are a pale aqua, which somewhat resembles the gem eyes of a Sableye. His nose pokes up into the sky a bit, making his nostrils slightly visible. His jaw is small, and his pointed chin has wisps of hair growing from it. His hair stops an inch or so below his covered ear lobes, with the dark brown, raggedy ends curving towards his chin and to the back of his neck. His hair is swept to the side of his face to keep it out of the way of his eyes and nose.

From his chin to below his right eye is a scar that is a thin pink line from point A to B. Diego wears a black suit, having the slacks subsituted with a faded pair of black denim jeans. The tie is the accent of the suit, being a deep sapphire blue. Inside his jacket, he has a few knives for self defense, an apple, and a bag of sweets. A small water pouch is velcroed into the part of his jacket that covers the small of his back.
Personality: In front of others, Diego is an ambitious, optimistic mind that believes there is good in everybody on Earth. His behavior had often gotten him in to trouble ad he had occasionally confronted petty thiefs and thugs to try and get them to be a better part of the population on the island. He wishes to be one of the greatest Private Investigators that had lived on Symphina. He has a strong sense of justice and strong morals.

Beneath the happy mask he wears in front of others, Diego is an emotional wreck, possibly sufferiong from bipolar mania. He often becomes depressed and suicidal knowing that he won't be able to have a good life having his Ghost powers. He curses his fate, and wishes there would be a way to not be seen as an omen. He hates himself for having Ghost powers at points.
History: Diego had been born to a single mother in Twilight Town, and had received little education during his early childhood. He had been taught to use Shadow Claw and Shadow Sneak, and basic Martial Arts from his mother, whose partner had been a Absol. At the age of seven, a prisoner had broken into the cabin Diego lived in, killing his mother, and leaving him with the scar on his face as he had learned to turn into an etheral state.

Within six long, lonely months on Sabian Island, Diego had set sails to Nesirin with others on Sabian Island who had either finished their sentence, or had decided to try a life in The Union of Relgran. Being with the group had taught him how to sail ships. After arriving in Nesirin, Diego immediately ventured to Deleras. In the following six and a half years, Diego had attended school to receive a great education, something he would never have had the oppotunity to get in Twilight Town.
He easily caught up with the other students in Deleras, but tried not to become social and let others know his abilities. Diego had also formed a respect for classical music, and had picked up the cello, viola, and violin in the school music program. Sticking with the violin, Diego became a member of the Relgran Symphony Orchestra at the age of thirteen. Life had become a peaceful routine for Diego, until he learned of the man named Andrew Marshall, and what he intended to do to Pokemon.
Skills: Sailing, String Instrument Playing, Basic Martial Arts Techniques
Abilities:
•Shadow Claw
•Shadow Sneak
•Phasing through objects, minor control of phasing objects through other objects and living organisms
Other: Obsessed with apples and sweets.
RPG Sample:
Diego Ombre was seated at a regular desk in the middle of the class. He was slouched in his chair, face held in his palm. The math teacher, Ms. Brown, had been standing in front of a green chalkboard, pestering students about the simple equation on the board.

"Ten out of Twenty Five of the students in this class failed the test! Only one passed, Diego Ombré. Diego, can you give us the answer to the question on the board?" Ms. Brown had half yelled.

"Negative Fifty Six," Diego replied.

After saying so, the final bell rang, and students had stormed out of the class. Diego walked out of the front gatesand headed towards the Deleras Theatre. Out of his peripheral vision, he saw to students pointing and looking at a paper, a grin spread on the girls face, while the guy wore a worried expression.

Concentrate. Diego thought.

He slipped into the shadows of the passing students, maneuvering to the guy and girl making a conversation on whatever had been written on the flyer.

"...Seriously! The government is going to take teenagers and people from all over the world on an expedition! Let's go, it'll be fun!!!" The girl had exclaimed.

"It'll be dangerous babe. The government isn't even gonna tell you what'll be happening until your tied in so tght you can't get out. Don't go to the council hall and throw your life away!" The guy had retorted.

That was enough information for Diego, he slipped away to the side of the building, and pulled himself out of the shadows. He knew what he was going to do. He began sprinting through the streets, headed full speed straight for the Council Hall.

It's that one guy
Name: Marcus Scott
Age: 33
Sex: Male
Hometown/Area: Fovia, in a small town called Liring
Chosen Pokemon: Crawdaunt
Appearance: Marcus hair was originally a very light blond colour, almost mousy, like his mother. You can imagine how surprised she was, however, when about two years later his hair suddenly turned into the deep, muddy and thick hair colour of his father, the brown hair having a colour perfect for hiding yourself in the dirt. His hair is rather long when left as normal, and is very straight, meaning that if he has his hair in its normal state, he almost looks like he’s a girl. That, however, is why he ties his hair in a ponytail on the back of his head, which although some people insists it makes him look more like a girl, he states simply that he likes it, the navy blue band that ties his hair together being his favourite colour, and making himself feel pretty happy about his hair. His eyes, however, have always been the colour of his mothers, and have never looked like they would fault, being a nice ocean blue shade in colour. They are fairly normal looking, so you wont be reminded of the ocean by looking in his eyes, or taken to another plain like all the romance books seem to insist eye staring should do. His nose is fairly average, simply sitting there on his face, making itself rather comfortable at a generally perfect distance between his two eyes, a small scar just bellow the right eye where a claw had once accidentally slipped. His chin is generally covered in a light hair layer, but whenever he can get a liable chance he will attempt to shave it, but he doesn’t generally mind about the hair. He just hates having a beard, as it looks so untidy; even a explorer should always try to look his best for his fans.

Clothes wise, Marcus wears a attire that he believes is perfectly suited to exploring. What others may believe, he doesn’t really care. Basically, he wears a brown vest on the bottom of his layers, and above it simply a jacket is worn, brown and slightly tattered, the sleeves coming up to his elbows, and then stopping, allowing freer movement of the arms. On the back of his jacket, ‘Marc Scott, Explorer of Worlds’ is written in large letters, a picture of a globe being situated there to emphasise the message. Bellow the jacket, his favourite part of his attire is worn. His old, brown leather belt, having several items of importance attached to it, including a pocket knife, a pen and his journal, a water bottle, an alcohol bottle and a map of the known world, hand-drawn by himself, and added too every once in a while when something of importance is discovered. His trousers are a pair of old, worn brown jeans, which have seen the brunt of many different adventures, but of course, he has a pair of extra shorts, an extra shirt and an extra jacked in his rucksack, which is carried on his back at any outdoor moment, simply because of the use it has to him, storing most of his food and precious items that can’t fit on his belt. In fact, what’s on his body is practically his only possessions; he doesn’t even own an actual house, preferring to regard nature as his home. It’s rather strange in the eyes of other people, though.

Personality: Marcus nature has changed rather drastically over the years, from the young timid boy he once was soon after his birth, finding out his abilities were completely different to those of his parents. As such, it was no surprise that eventually his personality would differ from his parents, and it certainly does, the timid and relaxed parents of Marcus completely shocked that they ever produced a child like this. A child, now man, who is perhaps one of the most daring people in the entire world. Marcus is, in all honestly, mad. But really, you have to be mad to have achieved what he has done, the madness inside him is simply the fact that he has very little ability to fear, something which he personally finds really annoying in himself, making him feel less human. He supposed the reason he had little fear, was the fact he didn’t actually care about his life. He has no honestly firm reasons for living, in his mind, and he’s happy to admit that, and without that disregard for his life, he wouldn’t be where he was today, more likely back in Fovia, farming slowly while providing himself with rain every once in a while. His adventurous abilities are not argued, and he isn’t really very caring about his own skills; what he does care about is the wonders of the world that he was born into. In fact, they’re the only reason he keeps moving forwards in life. He fell in love with nature since seeing the Forest of Eternal Life years ago, and hasn’t fallen out of love, exploring countless locations simply to marvel in natures beauty.

Marcus also has a ‘dark side’ to him, and although some believe this dark side was created by his typing, Marcus didn’t blame his Spirit Pokemon (wherever it may rest) for it. He personally believes that he was born with the anger that he owns, and he absolutely hates his anger, and as such has begun to study a process of Meditation in order to withdraw his emotions. He’ll still display happiness, sadness, humour and all of the important personalities, but if he can help it, he withdraws both anger and excitement, only managing to let them explode in situations when he truly needs them. He is extremely fascinated by nature, as well as other peoples abilities, and will often act strange in the face of battle. Say a giant tentacle came out of midair and grabbed his ally, slamming them about the place and hurting them greatly. Marcus would most likely say something along the lines of ‘this is amazing’ and just continue to stare as his ally is chucked about and smashed by the tentacle, and would eventually slice the Tentacle in half or something of the sort when he’d watched it enough, and simply wanted to get going rather than save his team-mate. He is extremely interested in discovery, and should someone inform him about a new location on the map, he would drop everything and head there. Well, at least, unless he was doing the mission he is currently taking part in, simply because he was told they’d be finding the most interesting new locations he’d ever seen. He was holding the council to that, as otherwise he might just have to let his anger loose for once.

History: Marcus always knew he was different to others of his type. Born to two loving parents, Andrew and Lucy Scott, Marcus was part of a very small percentage of the world, people who have the Water Ability being born to any other type. His abilities first kicked in when he was around four years old, sitting out in the garden of his Fovian home. The day was extremely dry, and young Marcus heard his mother talking to his father about their beautiful Rose Bushes, which were slowly dying due to the weather (the longest drought for a thousand years). Marcus loved the Rose Bushes; they were his favourite smelling plants in the garden, and was extremely upset when he heard the news. His parents were never sure what exactly triggered the Rain Dance; Was it their boys sadness, or something else entirely? Regardless of how the Rain Dance was summoned, the garden was soon covered in a large amount of rain, curing the plants of their drought, and making the Scotts happy once again. They realised that the ability was their suns and not some act of god when they went for a walk towards the center of town later that day. They noticed that the rain seemed to follow them wherever they went, and the pair of Flying Types knew it couldn’t have come from then, and as such they figured out that their son was of the Water Typing, and surely a great asset too them in these drought like situations.

Growing up in the small town, Marcus went to the local school, but it didn’t particularly fascinate him; he always preferred the idea of adventuring with his powers. He excelled in their Ability classes, showing the greatest control over his ability (still only Rain dance) out of the whole class, even if his ability wasn’t exactly useful in the midst of the battle. His other favourite subject was physical education, and although he wasn’t the largest muscled boy, he was fairly nippy in the running, and loved any event that involved climbing, and of course swimming. At the age of eleven, the class went on their first school trip (which didn’t leave Fovia, mind) to the Forest of Eternal Life, simply going a short distance into the forest to collect plant samples for Science (with five of the forests guards watching them at all times, mind). It was at this point Marcus discovered his great passion for exploring, climbing up trees, running through bushes, jumping over rivers, all of these things were the height of Marcus’ life thus far, and he knew from that moment he wanted to do nothing else in his life but explore the world, a dangerous profession, but still one he wanted the most. On the trip, the school collected exactly what they needed, but were also quite disappointed at the fact they didn’t meet a Celebi. They were informed by the wardens that they weren’t deep enough into the forest to meet one, and a lightbulb lit up in Marcus’ brain. He wanted to be an explorer, and this seemed like the perfect chance to be one.

So, as the rest of the class returned with the wardens, Marcus asking one of his friends to use Double Team (their ability) to make it look like there was the right amount of kids, Marcus hid underneath a bush, waiting for about three hours before making a move, figuring that the wardens must have left by now. He walked out into the forest, the day slowly darkening as it headed towards nightfall, Marcus heading in what he believed to be the way to the center of the Forest. After what seemed like a day of walking, although it was only a few hours, Marcus decided it was time to get some sleep, and laid down as comfortably as he could on a flat rock, closing his eyes and getting a decent bit of rest. As he woke up, however, he soon discovered that he wasn’t alone in the Forest, and he jolted quickly upright, looking around rapidly. It was late at night from the looks of it, and Marcus certainly couldn’t see at the moment, the only thing he could actually concentrate on was the slow panting of his breath. Well, at least, he thought it was his breath. Until it pounced. Marcus didn’t know what had hit him, but whatever it was had knocked the air out of him, and he could feel himself start to bleed as he felt a sharp pain in his leg. Attempting to scream for pain, hoping to alert the wardens, he was then bitten hard in left arm, and he lashed out in pain and anger with his right hand, somehow gripping onto whatever was attacking him, and throwing it away from him, a dull thud signifying that it had hit the ground. Marcus sighed, too weak to stay awake, he closed his eyes and drifted into dreamless sleep.

Waking up the next morning, he found that although he was still wounded, the bleeding had lessened, and he was able to walk on his leg, if barely. He hadn’t lost the will for adventure, even after this, but he could see that his adventure would have to be put on hold for now. Remembering what his Teacher had told him about escaping the forest should he get lost, he tapped on the bark of the tree in a pattern of five separate knocks, and within five minutes a group of two wardens had taken him to the edge of the forest, telepathically contacting Marcus’ teacher, and taking him home to his parents. He got a large scolding from them for the ‘little stunt he pulled’, and was locked up in his room for practically the entire next six months, and eventually, he stopped caring anymore and just went back to being a normal boy, still uncertain about what his second ability had been. That was, at least, until he was seventeen years old. His school were running another trip, but this time, seeing as he was older, he was appointed as one of the guides to the younger children. There were about thirty students, and because of the event last time it happened, about twenty supervisors. Marcus remembered clearly the event, but nonetheless accepted, and the class began to walk into the forest. They went further in than before, and even literally glanced a Celebii, but it escaped again, flying into the trees only a second after it was sighted. Inspired by the sighting, the class began to head back, but along the way, Marcus met his attacker for a second time.

Marcus was watching over a group of three kids, trouble makers, when he was suddenly hit to the ground by a large black blur. Thinking the kids had done something, he attempted to get up, but found himself knocked over again, and glancing more carefully he realised he was in fact being attacked by a Mightyena. It was clear it was the same Pokemon as that which had attacked him, because it still held the scars from when Marcus grabbed it, and the intensity that it used in its stare proved it. Marcus knew he would have to fight back; he didn’t want the young ones to be injured. For the first time in many years, he finally tapped into what was his second ability, and he wasn’t sure what had come over him really. He supposed it was Déjà vu, but nonetheless, when he gripped on to the Mightyena, and slowly squeezed it as it flailed frantically, he had a sudden urge to kill the creature where he stood. It was at this point he dropped the beast, and simply ran. He had figured out what his partner Pokemon was; there was no other explanation. His partner was a Crawdaunt, and although you’d think someone would be happy about finding their partner Pokemon out, Marcus was not. His parents had spoken his whole life about how the Dark Type was evil: wrong: cruel. And now, their eldest son had discovered not only was he a freak for his abnormal birth, but due to his dark abilities also. He couldn’t stand it; he had to escape from the world, and as such, he did, heading out of Fovia at the quickest possible chance, and heading towards other places, starting with the sights that he had wanted to go to for his entire list. First on his list was Relgran, and from that day on, he has compiled a list of places to visit, journeying to each one in turn.

As he journeyed to various places, he wrote several autobiographies of his adventures, having been the first man to take a non-water type to Sandaeris, examining the bubble at Moria, going to both Narsir and Sabian, and he soon became known as one of the worlds finest explorers, and should he be contacted and told of an area he'd never visited, he’d be on the next boat there, and soon enough, he had reached what he thought was the end of his career. That was, at least, until he was contacted by the council of Symphina. He was requested by them to lead a team of ability users into the deepest and most dangerous parts of the world, all in an attempt to discover, and then get to a certain location before Marshall and his cronies, and in one fashion, save the world. Now, what great explorer wouldn’t accept that sort of responsibility, especially when it required going to regions unknown?

Skills: He’s a skilled navigator, and if he says so himself, a born leader. And trust me, he will say so himself, he’s very skilled at projecting his voice also, you see. He has a vague training in self defence.

Abilities: Rain Dance: Marcus version is less a dance and more a simply channelling of energy. Creating a small orb of water, he then shifts the water with his body, performing several different tai chi like poses, before launching the orb up into the sky. Seconds later, Clouds begin forming above Marcus, and rain comes pouring down on him, the clouds following him wherever he goes.

Vicegrip: Channelling his right hand with darkness energy, it shifts into the form of a crabs claw, which he then grabs the enemy with. He then slowly throttles whatever part of the enemy he’s grabbed, forcing dark energy into their bodies and dealing damage based on how long he grips for.

Bubble Orb: He channels his water energy down into his right foot, and then begins to kick out large bubbles at the enemy at quick paces, the water splashing into the enemy and forcing them backwards.

Other: He hasn't had contact with his parents since he left the forest that day.

RPG Sample: You'll see me post in a minute, when I finish the topics first post.

Anyway, I'll allow someone to volunteer and choose my last two moves, making sure they read through the bio, and then the moves to check what I'm missing. I think I know what I'm missing, so if nobody can actually work out what I'm missing, I can say. Two moves, both must be different types. The Roleplay itself will be posted soon as I can.

Sorry for missing this and not posting sooner. It needs more lines on the three main catagories, but the rest of it is fine. Pending.

I'm afraid, due to school, and personal reasons, I won't be able to get my SU in until the end of the week at the earliest. I apologise for any inconvenience.

Before I post my SU, a few posts have come to mind...
I think it'd actually be harder to get into here then BG's..

Oi, oi. Handy's definitely stepped it up, but I don't think he's critical enough to make it harder than me. Although I respect his opinion, several SUs probably would not have made it in so far if I was running this RPG (which I will not name for obvious reasons). I'm also glad to see that you have improved as well. I still remember the first SU I ever saw from you, and I can say, you've come a very long ways.
The first seal of approval I ever saw was given in December on a Roleplay called Vindex, and two more seals were given out that month. It all went quiet until about a month ago, TBG created an RP called Total Eclipse, which got sealed. After that, about half a month after TE died, Kamotz created a Golden Sun RP, which got the fifth Seal I've personally seen. And then this got Sealed. Prior to last December (well, June, since that's how long I was roleplaying here) I have no idea.

Vindex was the first, then Moogles followed with Angel's Requiem, which was followed by Zincspider's The Rhythm, then I put up Total Eclipse and Kamotz made Golden Sun. Yours is the 6th Sealed RPG since the reinstatement, unless I've missed one. Welcome to the club! XD Anyways, here's my SU. Enjoy!

Name: Hermit (I figure he'll eventually reveal his old name in the RPG, so we'll leave it at this for now)

Age: 30

Sex: Male

Hometown/Area: Fovia (originally Rolin City)

Chosen Pokemon: Onix

Appearance: Hermit is short. He isn't a "little-person" persay, but everyone he meets, male and female, always seem to have this annoying habit of being taller than he is. He has short, straight hair, and a pair of blue eyes that glow a bright brown when he looses control of his powers. His build is quite square and muscular, but often is not visible under a long black traveler's cloak that he wears whenever he is not training. The cloak has both a hood, pulled over his eyes, and sleeves, which are long and reach down to the arms. The edges are lined with a dark golden color that is decorated with runes. The hands are covered by brown gloves, and have the symbol of Bonsai (a Bonsai tree inside a golden runed circle) on the back.

Moving right along, the cloak covers a black muscle shirt that Hermit enjoys due to the comfort and flexibility it grants him. His pants are also black, kung-fu pants (think sweat pants) to be exact, and they are held up by a series of leather straps that function as a belt. He wears no socks, but does wear a pair of geta sandals (wooden japanese style) when he must wear shoes. Otherwise, he goes barefoot, and his thick-soled feet keep sharp stones and sticks from harming him. A circular bag is held off his back, perched horizontally behind his waist, that he uses to carry what few possessions he owns. All of his clothes are usually sweaty and/or dirty, probably due to the fact that he often spends days training on end.

Personality: As can be assumed from his name, Hermit does not enjoy the company of others, and when possible, will go to great lengths to get away from crowds or large groups, and he is especially uncomfortable in cities. This may be due to the fact that in his childhood, and for most of his life, the approach of a large group was a sign of soon-to-come pain. He is only willing to join the group due to his orders from his Master, Bonsai. As of now, the only people he truly trusts are Bonsai, his two students, Ken and Jolanda, and Buxley (see History), the latter of the two he has not seen in ages.

Despite being a martial artist, a victim, and a Ground-Type with difficult-to-control powers, Hermit is a pacifist. He despises violence and death, and that refers to even the little things too. It is not uncommon for him to push someone over to keep them from stepping on a patch of flowers. Although he will not admit it out loud, Hermit loves children, and they love him, but he tries to keep them away for fear that his great strength and wild powers might hurt them. He is very quiet, and speaks not often, preferring to use his actions rather than his words if possible. This can come as a great length of frustration to some people, especially those who are always talking.

History: At a young age, Hermit had a different name than he does now. A name long forgotten beneath the rubble of his past. He had originally grown up in Rolin City, completely oblivious to his powers. A happy child planning to become a great builder someday, and create a big tower from which he can pierce the heavens. As most people in Rolin City were, Hermit was completely oblivious to his connection with an Onix somewhere in the world. If he had known, perhaps he wouldn't have been picked on so much. Being a short guy, Hermit had become the butt of his classmates' jokes, the most common one being "he must want to build such a tower so he can reach the top shelf!". Needless to say, this was rather annoying.

It didn't take too long to breach his patience. One day at lunch, when he was about the age of 17, a group of his tormentors surrounded him. They started with the usual jeering and teasing. This then continued to the pushing and the shoving, and the stealing of the lunch. Eventually, it turned downright violent. As he stood up, one more time, he ignored his bleeding forehead, the result of a rock that had been thrown, and raised his arm. As his thumb and pointed finger aimed upwards, he shouted; "I won't give up anymore! These are the hands that will pierce the heavens!"

With his great cry, the earth below began to rumble and shake. The bullies stepped back as Hermit's eyes lit up with a bright golden light, and the street around him shattered like paper mache. 6 pillars of earth surrounded his body in a circle, startling everyone, but in a few seconds, he recieved a heavy blow to the back of the head, knocking him unconsious. The city's head knight, Sir Nathaniel Buxley, had appeared on the scene and quickly delivered a blow to the back of Hermit's head. By the time Hermit awoke, he was outside the city. Buxley explained what had happened, and how he had shouted at the boys to force them to retreat. Everyone knew how powerful Buxley was, so it was only natural they had run. He went on to tell Hermit the truth about his powers, and that there was no longer any chance at living in the city he knew. Then, the knight provided the newly abandoned child with a small pack and directions. "Go west, young man" he said. "There is no more here for you."

The armored man vanished as Hermit turned and headed down the indicated road. It was a fairly gentle journey, thankfully, and he ended up in a deep forest. It ran nearby a large mountain, the size of which comforted Hermit, but also made him remember his dream, something that could never occur. Without building materials, he could never build such a monstorous creation. At least the forest was peaceful.

Well, it had been, until Hermit heard a loud pair of screams. Two young children clung to each other by the side of a mountain cliff. A large boulder had fallen from above, probably knocked off by a large Pokemon. In an instant, he ran and stood over the kids, shielding them with his body for all the good it might do, and waited for impact. It came, but not as heavy as he thought. On second thought, make that very heavy, since it took all his strength to keep the boulder from falling. Both arms held tight, and the children stopped quivering long enough to see the man who had stopped the boulder. With a little grunting and groaning, as well as some effort, Hermit lifted the large boulder over his head and hucked it away before collapsing to his knees from exhaustion. The children thanked "Mr. Strong Guy", and asked if he was okay, when they all heard a little clapping noise. A tall man with a long beard and green robe was standing nearby, applauding almost laughingly at what he had just seen.

The old man introduced himself as Bonsai, one of the elders of Fovia, alongside his companions Oak, Elm, Ivy, Birch, and Rowan. He claimed to sense that there was a deep sadness inside him, and offered to take him into the village. Having nowhere to go, the offer was accepted. They entered a forest, where a city of sorts had taken form. There were the normal houses of stone and wood on the ground, but a number of homes were suspended in the trees, far away from the ground. Most notably, the center of the city held a giant tree, upon which perched a large building. Bonsai explained that this massive building is where the elders met each day to discuss the issues of the kingdom, as well as the world outside it.

In a few hours (and a long arguement between the elders), it was decided that Hermit would stay with Elder Bonsai until he could get his own place. A bit more debating, and they also decided that to teach him to control his wild powers, he would also be taught by Bonsai, based on him having the calmest personality. Training began the following day, and in a few weeks, Hermit was able to use his Ground-Type Powers to build himself a small house near the mountain side. His new master suggested he carve his name into it, so others would understand who lived there. The Ground-User decided he no longer needed his old name, and thought to choose a new one, something fitting for a loner who had even been kicked out of his own country. Hermit.

Since, he has been using his newfound powers to build houses of Earth and Stone in order to make a living. While out training on the mountain, he recieved a message from the Elders about some sort of mission to save the world. As Bonsai's disiple, he had been chosen to join the group. Although he had come to hate crowds, he knew that the elders were never wrong when they came to a concensus. He packed up his few belongings into a bag before heading out to the meeting...

Skills: Hermit is suprisingly good with children, and they even seem attracted to him. He is also very good at survival skills, such as building campfires and knowing which herbs and mushrooms are healthy and dangerous. He has had some training with Master Bonsai, and as a result, knows some martial arts.

Abilities:

Grave: Despite the devilish-sounding name, Grave is basically the ability to cause pillars of earth to pop out from the ground. In addition to jab the foe with a spike of stone, it can also be used to defend against most attacks (especially ranged attacks) that don't pack as much of a punch, or to trap someone in a circle of rock to trap or reduce movement. It can also be used to make things, such as seats or even small shelters. This is his main offensive attack. It's weakpoint is that the range is fairly small, and he cannot use it if he isn't making physical contact with the ground.

Super-Human Strength: Hermit's physical strength is incredible, surpassed only by fighting types. This allows him to lift heavy objects to fling at opponents, or attack foes with his powerful fists at close range. Since he is smarter than most fighting types, he can use his higher intellect to overcome the strength difference.

Tough Body: As a result of being linked to a rock/ground type, Hermit's skin and bones are incredibly thick, and resulting in him only feeling a slight twinge in a blow that would shatter a normal person's blows, allowing him to take a ton of punishment. However, it does not protect him against most special attacks, considering they usually are intending to burn, chill, etc. rather than deal physical damage. This is the only reason he can punch through even solid rock without hurting his hands.

Other: Don't call him names like shorty, short-stack, half-pint, or anything else along those lines. It'll tick him off.

RPG Sample: His muscles screamed in agony as his arms moved down to a 90 degree position. "Four-Hundred and Ninety-Three!" Hermit groaned, pushing himself back up before lowering back down and repeating. "Four-Hundred and Ninety-Four!" Sweat trickled down his forehead and onto the ground beneath, adding to the small puddle. However, 500 pushups with the boulder on his back was only a warm-up for the training routine he had prepared for. The plan was to stay for 3 months, then return to Bonsai with a new strength. However, he was worried he may have overestimated himself.

"Four-Hundred and Ninety-Five! Four Hundred and Ninety-Six!" His head was pounding now. His arms were at thier limit, but he couldn't stop now. He was so close! 497...498...499...

"Hermit-sensei!"

The short blonde-haired disciple nearly crushed himself with the boulder. The voice he had heard was Jolanda, a young, teenage girl whom he had saved with her twin brother, Ken, from a falling boulder about... was it 13 years now? He had ended up saving them so many times that he had eventually taught them martial arts to keep them safe, but it had only encouraged them to get in further trouble. A good 70% of the time he heard her voice, there was trouble she couldn't solve on her own, and had most likely caused. He pushed the boulder off his back, cursing his inability to finish, then stood up to greet his pupil as she ran over. It really annoyed him that she was an inch or so taller than him, but at least she still respected him.

"I have an urgent message from Elder Bonsai!" She handed him the letter she had carried. A little of Elder Bonsai's power still flowed through it, a result of such a powerful aura being used to seal it. He opened it with a small pressure of his own aura, then read. "What does it say?" she leaned over his shoulder in an attempt to see, but he almost playfully moved it away.

"A pilgrimage," Hermit nodded to her. "Mostly volunteers, but the elders wished for me to go as a disciple of thier number." He glanced up and looked at her. "Speaking of disciples, where is your brother? I know he's terrible with heights."

Jolanda opened her mouth to answer, but a soft voice over the edge of the cliff called "Help!"

Same old, same old.
