Pokemon Box cloning?

Velut luna.
I post this thread as I didn't see a thread like it and the word "Box" is too short to be included in any search...

If I have a Pokemon Box save file on my GCN Memory Card and make a copy of it onto another memory card, does it retain ALL information so as I've effectively cloned each and every one of the Pokemon in there? In theory it would work but I imagine GF would be smart enough to put a halt to practices such as this. So, what's the word?

I think there's some sort of block in the Game Cube BIOS; that it won't let you copy a Box/Colo/XD save.

If you rigged up your own reader for the PC then yes, but then there are easier ways.

I'm not lucky enough to have Pokemon Box but I do know in fact that colosseum and XD restrict you from making copies of the save file..... I'm assuming that the same goes for Box..... Unfortuneately there are few that have it.

I have Box...
Basically as said above, you can not copy Pokemon Box data between Memeory Cards, just like Colosseum and XD, so no you can not clone pokemon in this way.

Damn. I want to be able to clone not to cheat, rather for insurance purposes. I mean, I wish to have a backup of my Pokemon should anything happen to the cart when they're on there. Oh well, thanks for the help everyone. Can a mod please close this?

If you are just cloning 'for insurance' make copys using the emerald cloning glitch. works a treat and all it does is create identicle copys.

If I were to do the same, I'd have to clone 400+ pokemon. :|
That would take quite some time...

It would be so much easier to clone the PkmnBox file. :)
