Pokemon Box Egg wonders...

So, when I got my Gamecube (my second one) a few months back from Gamstation I asked the guy if he had any Memory cards with it. He said he hadn't but instead gave me a copy of Pokemon Box, SCORE!

So I was wondering, you know the eggs that you get given in the game and they hatch into a pokemon with a normally unlearned move (Swablu with False Swipe or Pichu with Surf)? Can those moves be passed on through breeding so that I can obtain the right natures?

I just wanted to know before I started catching **** loads of weaklings to fill up my boxes :D. Thanks :)

Ahhh, I see, I was lucky enough to get a Swablu with a Modest nature. I want a Pichu with a non crappy nature but with Surf. Uh oh! I suppose theres nothing to do but fill the boxes up.

Unless it's in their breeding moves list already then no you can't.

I'm pretty sure that you can't breed a Pichu/Pikachu/Raichu with surf to get another one because a pichu/pikachu/raichu cannot normaly learn it.

Thats exactly what I thought.

As I said I'll just have to fill the boxes up and hope I get a good nature. A nutral one would be ok.

we found a way around the 'only pokemon from one cartridge ' problem, after all someone noticed that swapped pokemon still registered. we got a pool of played games from myself and all my friends, this easily got together the 1499 pokemon needed.

we downloaded all the pokemon to box, making sure to write who's pokemon were in which box and also which cartridge they went to. then we filled up each empty computer box with the pokemon box pokemon untill the whole cartridge was filled 'saved' (onto the cartridge) then deposited them back onto box and saved again. this was repeted untill EVERY pokemon on box was loaded onto a cartridge then saved back onto box. this tricks the game into thinking they all came from the one cartridge. This was then repeated with every cartridge (taking about 20 mins each) untill we all had full sets of eggs, about 7 sets in total. we then restored all pokemon to the right cartridges.

its fiddly but a very quick way to get them.

Lucky, you got Pokemon Box, anyways, since thoses moves are exclusive, you can't breed them

I'm thinking of doing something like what Bad Skitty wrote above with my 5 GBA games. I've nearly filled Pokémon Box up already. I could even use my second memory card so I could get 10 Surfing Pichus, or as many as I like if I keep erasing the file.

I've already got an Adamant Extremespeed Zigzagoon. :)

I love my False swipe swablu's. they are an awsome pokemon hunter once you lv them up and they evolve. mine is nearly lv'100 now and an awsome legendary hunter. false swipe and sing means they are knocked down quickly. I thought that catching legendaries like rayquaza would be a problem due to its super effective dragon moves. luckily I got one with great special defence though and it doesnt die quickly.
