Seriously, I don't know what idiot from the store started that rumour but he should be fired. No way is the TCG being discontinued. If it was being discontinued there'd not have been word of EX Power Keepers, and Pokémon Card Game DP would never have been released.

Chances are, they're stopping from selling the cards at that Wal-Mart. That's it.

I don't see why they would stop selling them at wal-mart anyways. Last time I went, the pokemon cards were cleaned out, nothing left but a tin or two and a couple DF packs. None of the magic and yu-gi-oh cards seemed to be selling at all.

The whole Pokémon TCG craze is completely dead where I live. The WalMart which used to sell them now hides a tiny supply in the corner next to the tobacco products. >.<

The cards are definitely not being discontinued, though.
