does anyone want pokemon contests to come back and do you think that they should change things about them or add new stuff please share!

Contests always came across to me as being awfully "gimmicky" in Ru/Sa/Em. The mechanics are well established in the Pokémon data structure, so it's only natural that they'll make a comeback. I do hope that they'll butt out a little more. Maybe the Contest Hall could be in the new Battle Frontier-type area.

No he means that they will put more effort into them, so it isn't a one day objective. Like the BF you have to do over time.

If Contests make a comeback, IF, witch, mind you, I DONT want to happen, They either have to be REALY good or REALY optional. And they better not have this "Trainer or Cordanatior" People seem to want

your right the only way your forced to is to complete your pokedex (feebas)

They should come back as an option, as in you don`t have to do them , and wexactkly like the anime, combos and all.

I only did contests for different colored trainer cards, but I don't see why they wouldn't come back in D/P.

Same here.
If the contests only happened at a certain time, or You could link with a friend and not have to have 4 people there to do a link contest, It'd be better.
Maybe make it a bit more like the anime, where pokemon have special contest moves.

The only reason I could see why they wouldn't bring them back is probably because they don't want R/S/E to be too overshadowed by D/P. I mean, sales for R/S would really decline since people could buy the game that has everything the other games have and more. I mean, with that whole trading over the Internet thing, I'm sure we won't have to do too much trading with the other games.

Personally, I kind of liked the contests. It just kind of gives you a little something else to do. *Shrugs* They can improve them or not, personally I like them as they are. Who knows, maybe they'll come out with something completely different to replace contests.

As many people have speculated, this screenshot looks awfully like it belongs in a Contest hall. Not to mention with making the Pokemon look "pretty" and the ribbon on the bottom of the screen.

Could they have possibly reworked Contests into using apparel and the stylus for appeals? If this pic is not from a Contest-esque thing, what could it be for?
