Pokemon Contest Potrait

I wonder if your pokemon can get another potrait ribbon after the first one. Because i got a pokemon in my emerald which won the ribbon, then i sent it to firered for training, then started a new game in Emerald, and now wants that same pokemon to be in the lilycove museum 2nd floor.

You can get it painted again, as many times as you want if it isn't the current portrait subject for the category you are competing in, but you will only get a Ribbon the first time. Ribbons basically act as a mark on the Pokemon that indicates the Pokemon has done something, so if the Pokemon does that same thing again, instead of giving the Pokemon another Ribbon, the game may do something different, like awarding you a Luxury Ball if you win a Master Rank Contest with a Pokemon that has already won that Master Rank Contest before.
