Pokemon D/P EV training

Will it be easier to EV train in D/P because of the pokeradar and counter? Also with the new Physical attack special attack and other. Will stats be different?

I don't find it that easier to train personally and with the new attack/special attack split you'll have to first check the attack you intend teaching the pokemon then give it the appropriate EVS

I think it would be easier considering there are the items that give extra ev's for certain stats.

The counter is meh. But EV training is so much faster with the new Items. Takes three hours to EV train one Pokemon in old games. In D/P it takes 30 min to EV train one Pokemon.

With those new Power-* items that give +4 EV's per battle, how could it NOT be easier to EV train?

With the help on the "Power" items, the VS Seeker and the ever common Pokerus, EV training takes about 60 minutes.

you get them at battle tower and they increase by 4 if i'm not mistaken

^They give you +4 evs in their stat after every battle...

And also, Why would it take you three hours to EV train something in the 3rd gen? Lets say you want a 252/252/6 spread. Using vitamins cuts that down to 152/152/6, w/ pkrs and macho brace, that cuts the total battles down to 77 (if you only battle pokes that give 1 ev in any given stat, less if you battle things like Linoone or graveler that give 2 in the stat) (this leaves the two 'useless' evs, add one more battle if you want these factored in). Now assuming you OHKO all the pokes, at 30 seconds per battle/moving through grass, it would take 38.5 minutes to complete EV training, naturally you should factor in one trip to the nearest pokemon center for PP healing, but thats about how fast training goes for me.

the new items just give you 4 evs in their specific stat when you battle any pokemon with them equipped

So say you have the power band, Pokerus and then theres the EV's the pokemon gives you. You times the pokerus.

4+1/2/3=5/6/7X2=10/12/14 EV's per Pokemon.

Its really awesome. You get the Power Bands in the Battle Tower Prizes.

So are the EVs from the new items multiplied by the Pokérus effect?

Can the new items be given to a Pokémon in your party that isn't battling, so you can use Macho Brace at the same time?
