I only just stumbled across this manga series; I have very little access to manga other than the internet, living in the butt-end of nowhere as I do. I found it... different. It was certainly different how Hareta "caught" Regigigas, earning its respect rather than wearing it down and throwing pokeballs at it.
Though I did half expect Hareta to make a nest or something in the moss growing on its shoulder, considering how much time he spent up there.
I really enjoy DPA! because Hareta is such a sweet heart.
While he does catch some Pokemon through battling, when he confronts Legendary pokemon, he would rather befriend them than catch them, which I think is the reason for why Regigigas warmed up to him. Hareta is not afraid to battling WITH his pokemon, to the point where he can take quite a beating from a Pokemon and still somehow pull punches at them. He's a fighter.
Also, about that nest thing, it wouldn't surprise me if he did do that at some point. That would be adorable.
I've just started on this series but what is the point with these random manzais?
Lol. This just made my day.I've just started on this series but what is the point with these random manzais?

I still wish this series expanded on certain points rather than skip a lot like with the Gym Leaders. They could've fleshed out the characters much more.
I think that's because the focus isn't on the badge quest but on the Galactic plot. We don't even see a full Cynthia battle.
