The Oval Stone is the only evolutionary stone that does not evolve a Pokémon when it is used. However when a Happiny is holding an Oval Stone and levels up in the daytime, she will evolve into a Chansey, meaning that the Oval Stone is the only evolutionary stone that can evolve a Pokémon as an held item.

Did you know that practically EVERY video game character from the Pokemon games, from major characters to even trainer classes and minor characters, have been adapted in the Pokemon Adventures manga.

There are incredibly few video game characters left out of the manga. However they do exist and have never made an appearance. Some notable examples are the Battle Chatelaine's of the Battle Maison who never appeared in the Pokemon Adventures manga.
