I don't expect too many people can answer this cosidering ther are so many possibilities ever.
well here it is...
What was your biggest dissapointment the Pokemon show and/or games. Please do not include manga.

Mine was the Orange League. I thought it was boring to watch, but i figured fun to play....it wasn't in a single game.....

That is my biggest Pokemon dissapointment.

And people act like it's the greatest thing ever *:p at fanboys*

There are a lot of things, like Blissey... but I just enjoy it for what it is and if I don't like it I find something else to do. And who came up with Jynx?!

Hmm, the only thing that I can think of at the moment would be finding out that not all of the Pokemon would be available in R/S. I thought at the time that I'd never be able to get some of my favorite Pokemon into the 3rd Generation games, such as Poliwhirl and Dunsparce. Of course, I didn't think of the possiblity that there would be a remake of Red and Green. ^_^

Of course, there's also the time when I found out the hard way that the internal batteries would eventually die in the older games. >_<

My biggest dissapointment is in season one when they always showed the rock-ground pokemon geodude hovering everywhere. Another dissapointment was Misty keeping her retarted psyduck.

I'd have to say my biggest dissapointment was, by far, Max being included. Now I can't say I've ever been a fan of the anime, but when May's stupid younger brother joined... Not to mention the fact that Misty left! You know what? The entire anime since "Advanced" has been a dissapointment to me!

Ooh, maaaan!
In the gamecube games when the water.. fish pokemon are all floating in the air like that. I guess it makes sense, but I'd rather they flopped on the ground or something cool like that. Stupid fish.

And yeah, floating geodudes irk me, too.

My dissapointments with the anime are...well...many ^_^' But I guess I can sum it up under two things: making pokemon behave too humanlike/doing stupid things with them such as making geodude float, and all the wasted potential plot-wise. No offense to anime fans - heck, I watch the thing myself from time to time, just because it's Pokémon. :)

In terms of pokemon: I like thinking of them as slightly more intelligent animals (with some notable exceptions, such as Legendaries) who are trained by command, and I write my fanfics/pokemon behavior theories based on such a view; then I get all the anime fanboys on me whining "oh noes all pokemon are sentient you're wrong!/they all magically understand human languages/they all have the ability to talk look at Meowth!" Ugh. I like realism in my fantasy, and the crazy lengths to which the pokemon are humanized just destroys it all, to me. And from there comes the ever annoying question of what's in the burgers because oh, people wouldn't dare eat such noble sentient reasoning creatures >.> I won't even comment on how silly floting geodudes look, or electric attacks hitting ground types.

As for the wasted potential, it's too much to mention. They could have done great things with the anime (they could have made it more like Pokémon Special, for one), but they choose instead a formula plot for most every episode, throw aside story arcs (GS Ball and Team Aqua/Magma especially), stuff it with filler, and generally repeat it all for almost 500 episodes >.>

Man, I'm not easy to please am I? ^_^;

Matter of opinion really...

The biggest disappointments for me would have to be:

Anime - Pointless fillers taking up episodes which could be used for something better such as an extra episode of a League Tournament or a 2-part Pokemon Contest.

Ruby/Sapphire - No other major quest after the Hoenn League. I loved the fact that the Battle Frontier was included in Emerald, it gives you something to look forward to after the Hoenn League.

Colosseum - The Story mode of that game was one of the worst I have ever played. I was confused from the beginning and I hated there being no wild Pokemon to battle/capture. We, as players, were really restricted when it came to battling and what Pokemon we could catch etc. Also, the whole 'Shadow Pokemon' thing was really silly...

disappointment in games: you still cant choose your race

disappointment in anime: ash left all his good kanto pokemon with oak

2nd disappointment in anime: The banned porygon episode (banned because of the seizures it caused)... I wouldve been interested in seeing that episode

My biggest dissapointments in the games were that Contests were a little bit boring. I mean woop-de-doo, you pick the right attack to show off attacks on different levels and that's it?! =_=;
